PS4 Early Access Content Revealed

With the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 just weeks away, we wanted to share first details around some of PlayStation’s 30 days early-access content coming to Rockstar Games’ deepest and most expansive world to date.

Both Red Dead Redemption 2 and its multiplayer experience, Red Dead Online, will come with exciting PlayStation 4 benefits right from launch. In Red Dead Redemption 2, PS4 players will be able to customize Arthur Morgan with the Grizzlies Outlaw Outfit.

Come November with the launch of Red Dead Online, PS4 players will get 30 days early access to the versatile Arabian horse featuring a custom Alligator skin saddle, and the High Roller double-action revolver. Make sure that you have an active PS Plus subscription so that you can access Red Dead Online and check out these awesome items!

But with October 26 almost upon us, read on for a closer look at PlayStation’s 30 days early access content offering for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Grizzlies Outlaw Outfit – Available day one in Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode and at the launch of Red Dead Online

I prefer to play offline. If i jump online to get these bonuses, can I switch back to offline afterwards, and can i use the items offline or will they be disabled? Not overly familiiar with the GTA series and what format this appears to be following.

 

EDIT: I assume this will be available for those who have physical copies of the game as well as the digital users?

You just play the game, and get this horse for online. I assume this horse will be available in single player as well. Why are we already giving both SP and MP a hard time and the game ain’t even out yet????

No, when Rockstar say something is for Online only, they mean it, despite the files working fine in Single Player, they actively put in files to disable and block the content for Single Player use.

Personally the content that is exclusive so far is not really that big of a deal tbh. I hate it when they locked stuff to online only, they're literally forcing people to grind online to purchase stuff like that as it's not available for single player which is stupid really.

Of course it's not a big deal yet. You don't offer the heavily armored stagecoach with mounted cannons on it when the game first comes out, you have to convince players it's not gonna be like that first

f*cking Red Dead Online exclusive content Following the GTA Online play book I see with being an absolute c*nt to single player. Sure you could say "It's only 2 horses and a few guns. Single player has lots of content". Will you be saying that one year later when ALL single player exclusive items are in Red Dead Online with single player left to rot with bugs and NOTHING from Red dead online? Sony and Rockstar can shove (minus the Grizzly outfit for single player) their online only content up their a*s.

Welp, get ready for a lot more of this, people. I'm gonna sit this one out, GTA V/Online was a frustrating and draining experience for me - watching my favorite video game series slowly turn into something I detest is not an experience I look forward to reliving. Good luck to those who seem to be as disgusted as I am by Rockstar's business practices, but for some reason will still go forward and buy the game, I'll wager you'll be tearing your hair out by January over all the online exclusive content they'll announce. 

 

And I don't want to hear that "wait until the game is out" horsesh*t. Rockstar made BILLIONS with their GTAO business practices, you really think they're going to stop now? Get outta here.

Well, I daresay it's kind of throwing out the baby with the bathwater if you don't get the game used at least. Much like GTAV before it I am sure I will get well over my 80 dollars worth of enjoyment out of this game. It's not to say they don't make .amazing experiences. I just fear (with reasonable cause) that Red Dead Online is going to be marketed to the f*cking mouthbreathers if they find there's a market for it

At any rate we are divulging from the original point of the topic. I'm not really too concerned about the horse. It's a boring, fairly common horse.

So i must download 105 and unkown day one patch in 2 days, (24 to 26) To reach that outfit in day one. That means my ps4 will work continuously. It does cause a problem for ps4?
