Came back to this game a few weeks ago for the first time since 2014 (didn't exactly leave by choice. Thanks, xbox360's terrible hardware).

Really getting into it. A lot has changed, and it's a lot of fun.

Pictures are also fun.

Most people probably won't know this, but on-and-off since 2016 I've been earning a bit of cash on the side by DJ'ing at Tequi-La-La. They're low-key weeknight events mind you, but at least i'm getting paid for it. Supplements the day job nicely and stops me from losing my mind in a world of pointless bureaucracy and delayed dreams 

 

Here's some photos from my first properly paid gig in LS, anyway:

 

Start of the night and the only thing going through my mind? Don't screw it up... don't screw it up...

 

I remember being so happy that these pants still (just about) fit me 

 

Facing away from Jake the photographer helped a lot with the nerves. Just as well as I was pretty sweaty tbh

 

Beer me, or i'm not gonna play any Love Fist, okay? (turns out I didn't... but I got a chance a few weeks later - more on that next time perhaps)

 

My fortress of noise... for the duration of my set at least

 

Sister Syn - aka a moonlighting (and exhausted) Coleco Vee

 

 

Found a copy of the flyer from that night at Tequi-La-La too - Must have been around September 2016 ish I think?

Alright. My apologies if this doesn't really fit the theme of this thread, but I'm more than sure atleast some of you have ran into this nerd called _Tavish.DeGroot_ on accident. This is my second video on him since he clearly doesn't stop his bullsh*t. I didn't post the first one here since I messed up the editing pretty bad, but if someone is interested in the first video, PM me.

Don't worry, you haven't missed anything - players can't be a DJ in GTAO. At least not yet.

 

What you can do is run inside Tequi-La-La during a biker mission, fight the rival gang and rush around taking photos before the timer runs out... which is the only way we can legitimately explore what is one of the best interiors in the whole game.

 

I did at least three photoshoots inside TLL in 2016 with DJ themes, but never got around to posting them. So I guess now is as good a time as any, right?
