Very big game for us tonight in the way of being Champions of Turkey this season. It was interrupted for some reasons 3 weeks ago and now conditions are OK for Istanbul derby: Galatasaray - Fenerbahce, 7:30 P.M according to our local time. Although Galata have been absolute rubbish so far this season (7th in Turkish Super League. We're 2nd and Besiktas are 1st 'for now'. Besiktas have 66 pts in 28 games and we have 60 pts in 27 games.), they will try their best to interfere us from being champions because there's a 'huge' hostility and also rivalry between us and them for more than a century in everything: Fans, board, titles etc. We don't like them and they don't like us. But it's time to show them. If we win, the battle still goes on. But if we lose/tie, then Besiktas will gain a huge advantage for the left 6 weeks and our title hopes will probably be gone. (Yet nothing ever is impossible.)

It's in our hands to initiate a memorable comeback for the rest of the season. Go for it Fener! (My prediction for the clash is 1-2.)

f*cking epic game, I'm glad the referee redeemed himself in the end. Iniesta should've been sent off from that penalty, a minute later his cross that Gabi stopped with his hand should've been a penalty but he got a freekick instead. Justice prevailed for once!

Lol, Barca knocked out, Atletico and Bayern through along with Real. Although I want Atletico to win the cup, Real is winning it realistically IMO. They're going to be much more interested and hungry than Atletico and Bayern. Bayern struggled with Benfica, tells you all about Pep. Atletico will give real a good game though.

I'd be extremely happy if Atletico win it. They deserve it, and most of all, Diego "The Man" Simeone deserves it for being such a good manager. United need to keep a close eye on him.

Words can't describe what I just witnessed. Liverpool completing a fantastic turnaround. Amazing match and atmosphere and great show of spirit by the Liverpool team. This is up there with the 2001 final against Alaves and 2005 final against Milan for the greatest games I've ever watched.

Never watched the game but from the live feed I caught up on the BBC Sport website, it seems like it was a classy game.

 

I think next season is going to be good, as City will have Pep, Liverpool are nicely settling in with Klopp, and United should do themselves a favor and get rid of FlatFace and get in Jose, Chelsea are going to have that Italian fella, Spurs have got a good solid guy in PottyChino, and Leicester with Ranieri could still surprise everyone again... and they call English football boring... pffft.

Sevilla won Athletic Club in the penalty shootouts. Funny how the guy from Athletic that failed the only penalty missed, was an old Betis player (Sevilla's most hated team) so when he missed, Sevilla fans celebraed like if they won the Europa League hahaha funny.

Just the draw I was hoping for. I wont underestimate City or anything, but I think we'll be able to edge this one out. Bayern vs Real or a 2014 final rematch? Will be the third time a CL final happens again two years after the original (following Milan/Pool in 05 and 07 and Utd/Barcelona in 09 and 11)..

 

For Europa League, it's Sevilla vs Shakhtar and Liverpool vs Villarreal. Was hoping that Liverpool would get Shakhtar (the easy one), but eh. They can always pull miracles so fingers crossed that they can win the whole thing!

There was never going to be an easy tie in the semi's, and this isn't going to be easy, it's made worse that we're at home first... still I'm remaining positive that we'll have a City v Bayern final, just cause the press would love it.

I'm hoping for a Madrid derby-final, and a revenge for 92:48.

 

I also want Liverpool to win Europa League, but I think Villareal is the strongest team in the competition now. Fourth in the leauge, and they also have some good stats against La Liga's big three this season. It's going to be hard for Liverpool, but then again, they beat Dortmund.

Real - Bayern in CL and Liverpool - Sevilla in EL are the finals I'd love to see. But on Thursday night, we've seen an enviable comeback that -yet again- showed us impossible is nothing. So I won't be surprised if I see a City - Atleti and a Villarreal - Shakhtar final. Only thing I can say is Final Four in the both competitions will keep football fans entertained and home remarkable moments.

Let's see how it goes.

City thrash Chelsea, Utd relegate Villa to the championship even though we were f*cking poor by not scoring 2-3 more goals and Newcastle finally get a win against Swansea. Good week, but we are 3 points behind Arsenal. Realistically, I can't see us getting 4th, but if we can carry on the momentum and improve, and Arsenal f*ck up, then we could potentially get the 4th spot, but I won't go that far yet. Gestede was close to equalising which would have been a f*cking nightmare, can't wait till this season finished and we get rid of van ghastly.

But if you get a top four spot, chances of Van Gaal staying increases. Hell, wouldn't surprise me if Man U win FA Cup and that'll be enough to have him stay. Plus Arsenal are the definition of "consistency" so even if they drop points, they may give away #3 to City but still do enough to finish #4. So I don't see a top 4 spot in Man U's future this season.

 

Real and Atletico both winning this week, now with one less game, the heat is on Barcelona and here's hoping that they drop more points tonight against Valencia although my gut feeling says they'll win, either a lucky 2-1 or suddenly the front three show up and it'll be a thrashing similar to the 7-0 game in Copa.

He's not staying f*ck all now, reports are saying even if we win the FA Cup, and get top 4, he's still getting the f*ck out of our club. Partly because whoever gets top 4, will be stripped off their champions league qualification process if Liverpool win the Europa League, otherwise it'll be as usual.

Reports say a lot of things, though. People have been calling for his head for the past 6 months. But we'll just have to see what happens in the end. But wont it be 5 teams coming to CL if Liverpool win Europa League? They entered as a fifth team back in 2005 after winning CL and Sevilla was also Spain's fifth team this year in CL when they won EL.

 

Back to Barcelona, couldn't have envisioned a better first half. Down 0-2 in their own home. Wont speak too soon but it's a party if they lose this one too! The most beautiful collapse ever at the most important time in the season!

 

EDIT: They managed a 2-1 and Messi scored #500 but a loss is a loss and that's all that matters!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another key victory today against Rayo. Bale delivering in Ronaldo's absence and saving us! And for the first time in the new year, we're on top of the table even though it may be temporary depending on how Atletico and Barcelona do.
