And, it's confirmed, the football Gods should be spitting their guts out now!

Netherlands off, Iceland, Albania, Wales, Slovakia, N. Ireland, etc. on :panic:

Shame on you Danny:

Oranjes...

This has been pretty strange. Of the Scandinavian teams, Iceland directly qualifies while Sweden, Denmark and Norway are in the play-offs.

Zlatan is so cool that he wants to play more games to score more goals and to show more of his amazing skills. #fact

seriously Sweden and the Netherlands would/will be missed the most next year.

I am sure with Robben and a proper coach the Netherlands could have been a good team at the Euro.

I really hate the concept of International breaks. Half of the players travel so far away to play 2 games in a week and be back for the Premier League. The players return injured. Some of them for weeks or months while some of them for a whole season, which is really a terrible thing. Pls they tend to ruin the excitement of League matches due to these frequent and abrupt one week gaps. Oh can't something be done about this!

P.S. Lovely to see Sterling grab a hattrick and Bony score 2. that's 11 goals in 2 games, hope we can keep this going without Aguero and Silva.

So what about that Chelsea, huh?

Granted West Ham have been the surprise package so far this season, but Chelsea look like they're imploding right now.

A few players need to be sold, or benched and that includes Hazard. I don't think Chelsea is the right team for him anymore, he needs to evolve as a player and make the next step, because there's NO way he is going to be on the same level or just below world class players like Ronaldo or Messi if he's playing like this, not in a million years, however, his attitude is atrocious right now. He seems arrogant and isn't bothered right now, and this could be his downfall. It seems to be though that Mourinho is the problem here, he has no unique tactics for this team to improve or prosper. His only tactic is parking the bus and not disciplining his players *cough* Matic *cough. He's been found out, and I'm seriously expecting the board to sack this guy at anytime.

Watching Sky Sports super sunday premier league football and it been a bit of a tale of two matches.... Sunderland - Newcastle was a great match and a pretty epic win for Sunderland, great result for them. On the other hand, I'm watching the Manchester derby game right now and its pretty Yawntastic, Man Utd in the first half: zero shots on goal. City had a few, but none on target.

Meh, average game, nothing worth writing home about, even though I had feeling that a last minute crotch punch was going to nick it for United. But I'll take the draw and top spot.

Not happy with the performance. We were solid, but we couldn't score for f*cks sake. Without the main players, Man City are weak as hell. Second half, we put pressure on City a lot, and we had lots of chances, Joe Hart saved them.

It's so sad what's happening to Chelsea this season :(

I'm a Man Utd fan but Mourinho is my favorite manager and he's too good to go out like this, I hope he doesn't get sacked.

I wish what's happening to Chelsea would happen to Man City, they actually deserve it. It's hard to watch it happen to Mourinho though.

Happy for the Livepool win.

Does anyone think that he'll get sacked?

I hope not. If any manager has the right to have a couple months of bad results and not get sacked it's Mourinho.

No, what's sad is Van Gaal killing our attacking line all coz of the fat c*nt rooney. He's past it, and not to mention the retarded style of play is making him worse. Van Gaal doesn't dare even drop him, he hasnt got the balls. Martial is the best 19 year old I've ever seen since Messi and he is putting him out wide ffs. He's STILL got Rooney in the lineup today, and he's put a 17 year old on the bench, though he is talented. If we can't beat Crystal Palace today, or get a draw, Van Gaal OUT.

Mourinho will be sacked pretty soon, just after Roman agrees/conforms to release those compensation 50M (for this amount of $, rather than quitting, I'd surely wait to be sacked, just sayin') to M's account.

Italy is crying for him, though (imho) atm there's really not enough $ there that would allow him to "build" some world class squad, fitting his requirements/ego* (he already won CL with Inter, so what's next right?...).

Latest news here** imply that most probably PSG will be M's next season destination, with CL win being mandatory.

*Don't get me wrong, I do believe he still is the best Coach/Manager worldwide, I just don't like the guy's overall attitude (**I'm Portuguese btw ;)).

It's as if you started watching football yesterday.

P.S. That was a shocker from Joe Hart. Yaya bailed us out today. Sterling still has a lot of improving to do.

I've been watching football since I was 5. Funny how you're from India and refer to City as "us" lmao I'm from Manchester and don't even refer to Man Utd like that you fake fan.

I bet you never heard of Man City until they became the richest team.

Yeah, let's not jump to unfounded conclusions. I'm Indian and the reason I started supporting Chelsea FC was because I picked them as my team in Championship Manager back in 2003. I've been supporting them ever since.

And I don't think Mourinho is getting sacked. If anyone can afford a bad run of form like this, it's him, especially after all that he's done for the club. Not to mention, there' no one better for the job available right now. Maybe Ancelotti but Mourinho has to be there for the long term. Besides, we can hardly blame the manager for the individual mistakes of players who are just not up to the mark. Lady luck hasn't favoured us either and we have been at the receiving end of refereeing decisions that could have easily gone the other way. The Chelsea board is also to be blamed for the current fiasco because they didn't concentrate on strengthening weak positions like CB and striker in the transfer window. Our weaknesses were there for everyone to see towards the end of last season and it was pretty arrogant of them to think that we could repeat last season's success with the same set of players.

I'm still hopeful we can turn this around and get back into the top 4. And Mourinho is still the man to do it.

@Girish - I do believe that sooner or later Mourinho will be sacked, maybe Chelsea can start some wining spree from now on before that, if not - next season M @PSG!

I do agree with you, it's not entirely his fault (probably M's 50M compensation by Roman could've been better spent last Summer...), though M did state on pre-season that $ don't make a team (referring to Man City's signings).

Since you're a Chelsea fan, maybe you can answer me this:

- Couldn't K. Bruyne (still) be on Chelsea's (starting) team?

- Last season's Hazard's worshiping speech (will soon be better than Messi/Ronaldo) by M, truly made the lad grow up for the current season?

- (just wondering) If either Klopp or Mourinho were at any of Man's teams from the start, would the FA be like La Liga? ;)
