So disappointed with United right now. We dominated most of the game in terms of possession and even created some nice chances, but Rooney is still playing crap and even messed up one of the chances and Swansea in the second half made some changes and changed the game. Van Gaal the idiot put Fellaini on for Herrera instead of Rooney which infuriated me or he could have put Hernandez on. Mata, Shaw and Smalling were the only stand-out players today. Looking forward to the Liverpool game and see what happens from there.

Makes me feel glad that at least one of the Manchester teams manages to f*ck up time and again. On a different note, the light blue side of Manchester has signed De Bruyne. Not sure how I feel about this. He wasn't ready to work for his spot in the team then and I doubt much has changed. There's going to be immense pressure on him to perform from the get-go, especially with the packed midfield that City have.

The bigger picture for me is that we need a f*cking striker and another GK now. Van Gaal really is inches close to ticking a bomb on his United career if he doesn't sort the team out by the end of the season.

Our fans are known for extreme violence.

UEFA also hate us. We got banned for a few matches without home fans because a plastic banana landed on the field and Gervinho from Roma said it's racism (meanwhile many other teams, especially the Polish and Italian teams sing racist chants but not get banned).

 

ADO Den Haag has the same issue, but because they don't have much money to spend they never end up on higher spots (for European football).

De Bruyne should be a good signing, although I don't know how him and Silva are going to be together in the middle. They could be awesome, but I've got memories of the old pair of Berkovic and Benerbia, excellent on their own, but when they were put together is it was like two positives making a negative.

 

I saw little bit of the Swansea v Man U game, and trying to put my blue tinted glasses aside, United seem to be a shadow of what they were, even under Moyes. Putting the glasses back on, then long may that continue

I know it's very early days into the season, but I'm already enjoying the thoughts of Jurgen Klopp managing us. His style of play is exactly what we need. It's not to say I'm not backing VG till the end of the season because I am, it's still early days, but his arrogance and stubborness really astonishes me. In fact, I wish I could have managed them because I guarantee I have a solid plan

Actually BBC confirmed it's £36 million. I'm honestly sick of Van Gaal and our negotiating team. A 19 year old player from a sh*t league is worth £36 mill? I don't believe our manager scouted this guy for a year because he would have tried to get him on the cheap if that was true. Panic buy from a guy who said he wasn't going to do that.

Defense is all over the place at the moment and the front line isn't offering anything substantial either. Good to see Falcao get off the mark though. The only bright spark in an otherwise dull performance was Kennedy. That kid definitely has a great future ahead.

We need to play 2 strikers. We are much better and more threatening this season when doing so. It's too easy otherwise for teams to just shut down Costa.

That would mean we have to change to 4-4-2 but I don't think we're really suited to that. Perhaps, the good old 4-3-3? Matic, Oscar, Fabregas in the middle and Costa/Falcao up front flanked by Hazard and Pedro. I also fancy the 4-4-1-1 with Pedro as the second striker, considering he's more prone to score at this point than Hazard. I just hope we don't go completely on the defensive though.

 

On a brighter note, it seems we have received a sell-on of about 20% from the De Bruyne transfer. That's about 12m, which effectively means we got 30m for him. That's good money right there.

How come the transfer market is already closed in some places (ie Germany), will close at most European countries by midnight, but will still remain open until tomorrow's afternoon/night in UK, Turkey, etc...?!

I just don't understand this, at least in Europe/UEFA, the deadline should be the same (imo, all should close at July 31st, before any European league starts, but that's some different battle).
