He wants to say that Kevin Kampl is not good enough for the Bundesliga, I believe. He's not been great, I'll give him that. It's still early to finally say that he's crap though. He joined us in January or February. Let him play a full season in this league and then it's time to judge.

First game in the Spanish League 15/16 season

Malaga 0-0 Sevilla

A High Risk "Andalucian Derby" especially for political reasons:

Sevilla's Ultras (Biris Norte) are Extreme Left Wing

Nice season debut for us. Shame on Messi's missed penalty, but three incredibly vital points away at a team that has sh*tted on us in the Super Cup. Many injuries too, hopefully Dani Alves and Sergio Busquests are going to be fine. Thankfully though we'll face Malaga next game home, and Neymar is going to be back as well. :) Hopefully we can manage without Pique this season start. Strange start in La Liga. Four goalless draws and merely three goals scored in seven matches, out of which two come from freekicks. Haha on Real Madrid not being able to score a goal on a newly promoted team. :p

And what on earth happened at Juventus today? :O

Sporting Gijón is never easy, for any team. it was Gijón who ended Mourinhos 9 year 151 unbeaten home run not too long ago.

Orange Juice

A hard-earned point away at Old Trafford for Newcastle. Mitrovic looked promising: strong, great first touch, and a nice passer, so he can hold the ball up well and lay it off as the midfield and wide men/wingers catch up. He's a threat all by himself though, hitting the bar at one point. Thauvin looked decent when he came on too. I didn't have great expectations of him, as I heard he had a pretty dreadful season last year at Marseille, but he looked skillful and nippy, drawing a foul and a yellow from Luke Shaw pretty much immediately. Mbemba continues to impress too, even out of position at RB - not great going forward in the more wing back role, but made some great tackles. Coloccini had a great game, hopefully there's more of the same to come, he was very poor last season (and not so great the season before that).

Northampton in the League Cup next, hopefully we put out a strong team - Aarons should start, Thauvin might get another run out, and Perez could move up front where he played most of last season. Then it's Arsenal...

F*cking Southampton, costing me a fiver on my Last Man Standing pool.

Still it's good to see that we can still pull off another "fake" result, only against Everton this time.

Can't believe we couldn't score against Newcastle. We had lots of opportunities to score and unfortunately, I think that Rooney is either very lazy and is continuing the shoddy start or he has past it like a meteorite passing earth at a 1000 mph. Yes, the offside call was clearly wrong and that should have been a goal, but he didn't do anything else after that. VG needs to buy another top class forward to replace him or put Hernandez up where Rooney was and take his head out of the sand. He really is pissing me off saying he doesn't need another forward when the performances are saying otherwise, and we missed out on bloody Pedro without any reason. Hell, give Wilson a fair amount of time to show what he can offer, its the perfect time to spice up the front line. As for the centre back, I think we've eased on that and because Smalling is in form and Blind is actually good due to his intelligence, we can risk not getting one just for this season especially when Rojo comes back into the first team.

Thx Liverpool, he left for £16m one year ago and now he's back for free.

You know, in honesty, I really feel sorry for the guy. Balotelli when he was younger was one of the best prospects around and look at him now. His attitude and greed has got him here really. He played pretty well at Man City but eventually didn't give a sh*t anymore and he went downhill from there. And from the start he didn't look like a Liverpool player. I'm pretty sure everyone was surprised they signed an egomaniac like him.

It's probably because only Mancini knows how to handle him.

It's a bigger bullsh*t story than City getting Messi. If Neymar is worth £240 million, which is never, then Messi has to be worth £500 million (never).

John Stones handed in a transfer request: http://www.espnfc.co.uk/blog/transfer-talk/79/post/2580228/chelsea-target-stones-hands-in-transfer-request-at-everton

He should not consider going Chelsea, if he does its the worst decision he's ever made. He needs to stay at Everton for at least another 2 seasons so he can develop, and then move if he wants to.

I'll take that bet. Do you have paypal? :D

240m for Neymar may be one of the dumbest rumors I've ever heard. Not only for the stupid amount of money, but also the part where he's leaving the best team in Europe and the best attacking partners a striker could ever ask for.

I honestly have no idea why we got Cuadrado. From what little I saw of him, I couldn't figure out what else he offered that Schurrle and Salah did not. To me, it was just a hasty replacement for Schurrle/Salah. Cuadrado is just not suited to the PL, but then again, Salah didn't exactly set the stage on fire when he was given chances.

I think it's the right time for him to move. He'll get to learn a lot from the current Chelsea backline and he'll get a lot of chances on the big stage as well, what with the declining form of Terry and Ivanovic. Also, CL football which Everton will never be able to give him.

Missed out? It's not like his debut with Chelsea was a success. Did he even look good in that game?

..... oh wait.

Nana Nana boo boo, we got him!

Happy with the 4-0 victory. Rooney scores a hattrick in a LONG time so that's good. Hopefully his confidence is up and he can carry the form to the premier league otherwise it's a worry. Hererra and Schweinsteiger were just spectacular. Ander needs to start every game because he can create those chances for our striker and score himself.

I love watching Wayne Rooney when he's on a drought and all his cards are down, he comes good every single time. Not a utd fan at all but watching Rooney smash his haters is fantastic.

Astana FC is gonna win it.

I wonder what happens when one of the Russian teams plays against one of the teams from Ukraine....

Poule what I hope for:

Chelsea -- Atleti -- Galatasaray -- Maccabi

or:

PSV -- Man. United -- Roma -- Gent/Malmo

I get the feeling we'll get Barcelona.... again, with Roma... again, and probably Wolfsburg, cause UEFA like sending us to Germany.

Although knowing City's luck we'll end up with Barcelona, and a trip to the war-zone of Ukraine with Donetsk and one long assed flight to Kazakhstan to face Astana.

Where really I'd much rather take, PSV, Olympiacos and Malmo.

Wolfsburg without de Bruyne are mediocre. Should be easy points for you. 70-80 m €uros are enough money to get a very good replacement though...

@Claptrap - Russia/Ukraine are separated: http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/season=2016/draws/index.html

And, am i the only one who finds the whole thing with the new CL seeding silly? 1st pot are top seeded teams from top 8 ranked countries, and the other 3 pots are sorted by coefficients.

I get what they're trying to do, to try and help some underdog teams get better and make both weaker groups so they pass and on the other hand groups of death with every match very intense.

But even though i get, i liked the way it was so far, underdog teams can fight their way through either way if it's all sorted by coeficients from top to bottom, few good seasons in Europe and they'll get a solid coefficient. But oh well.

6 hours 'til the draw anyway.

Exactly. The city of Donetsk is NOT under Ucranian control(sadly)
