Haven't seen a whole lot of him, but he's a deep playmaker. Likes to get the ball near the defense and bring it forward. He's got a bit of pace too.

 

He's a quality player, and will be amazing with time and proper guidance from Luka.

Sounds good. Plus he's Croatian so him and Modric should work well together. Both in communicating and learning from a quality player. And he's only 21, so he can be a big difference maker in the future. A quality playmaker is definitely needed to fill the void of Xabi.

Real Madrid should get a Player Tranfers 101 class. They pay a lot of money for players they end up not being worth it. Just look at Illaramendi, 30m€ and he hasn't proven anything on the pitch.

Real has not been linked to Pogba for a couple of months now. An inside source said they have no interest and nothing has come out of the rumors since then. Barcelona, on the other hand, reportedly tried to buy him with a 80 million bid which got rejected by Juventus. Haven't heard anything since then so it looks like Juve will keep him for at least this season.

 

I'm glad we wont be getting him. Great player and all but overpriced star signings need to be done in healthy doses instead of throwing out millions in cash to bring over whoever is the hottest prospect at the moment. In a fantasy world it may be great to have all the best players in one team, but reality doesn't work that way and a balance is needed.

Totally understandable and reasonable decision to leave him in Dortmund since he had a little injury from the Gladbach game. Bayern would have done the same. Arrogant is the attitude of our starting line up though.
