Luis enrique stays one more year.

If the Cup and the league is won by the same team, there is No Super cup that year.

Really?

Hahaha Trolled troll.

Two more years. His original contract was from 2014 to 2016. Now he's extended that until June 30th, 2017.

Dani Alves also signed! That's awesome news. This was the only worrying thing in the next season, that we might not be covered on the right side in the first half of the season until the ban would be taken off and we could use Aleix Vidal (which by the way is another incredible signing!). Looking good for us next season. Hopefully our players can get past Copa America without injuries, and we could keep the trident complete.

Good news continue with discovering that in the Spanish Super Cup we play Athletic Bilbao and not Real Madrid. Had the impression that the second place of the La Liga would compete for it. Seems not. We do have a chance at the Sextuple again. The match with Sevilla will be important and difficult, since it's only one leg. As for the Spanish Super Cup, we have two matches, one home and one away. This is good for us.

Only thing that worries me is that Diego Simeone said that the next year can't end without some sort of triumph for Real Madrid. That's not good news because the guy usually doesn't talk bullsh*t.

There's no way you can get a better free agent signing than this. Juventus are very good in the transfer business.

Glad about Khedira. Another great player we get for zero money, like Pirlo and Pogba before. And I'm sure he's eager to get back at the top of his game. He's a world champ after all. respect.

Good replacement for Pirlo, it's no coincidence that they signed him especially since Pirlo is most likely leaving.

Unfair result Costa Rica 1-1 Spain.

We deserve the win but oh well.

Nice goal though

On another note, anyone knows where I could find some info on European teams and their summer friendly schedules? I know Dortmund is playing a game in Japan, and there's some friendly cups in China and Australia. Was hoping to find some more info to see if other giants will come to Japan.

If your soccer team has the worst attackers and fails at scoring, just remind them where the goal is:

Dani Alves just signed/extended his contract with Barça, 2yrs + 1 optional.

Edit - TVE is announcing that the imminent signing of De Gea by RM will mean that Casillas will leave.

If Iker's new contract won't reach his actual standards, RM will pay the reminiscent wage difference (that's what they're saying on TVE)...

Edit2 - 25y old Andre Ayew (nice player imo) moves from OM to Swansea as a free agent.

Steve McClaren appointed as Newcastle United's new head coach, 3yrs contract.

Can't wait to see Depay's transfer announcement and Gundogan's too. Really want to see Hummels or Otamendi as our main CB and Clyne should be a priority for us as RB.

I read a couple of weeks ago that United want to give us like €30m for Gündogan, a player that is still recovering from an almost career-ending back-injury. The 2013-Gündogan is worth twice as much, but the 2015-version of him is not even worth 5m if you ask me. Especially with only one year left on his contract. He's just a shadow of his former self.

As for Hummels, he's been massively overhyped. He's decent, but don't expect anything special. He's just too inconsistent.

I wonder when Tuchel has finally examined the squad and decides which players he wants to keep and which are the ones who will get the boot.

Gundogan looked a great player a couple of seasons ago but it does seem like his performances for Dortmumd have dipped and of course he's had his fair share of injury problems. I don't know, he might be worth the punt at £22 million as long as we bring another midfielder. I like Morgan Schneiderlin at Southampton and it does sound likely that he will join us soon. I also read that Bayern, Barca and Arsenal are all interested in Gundogan too. Should be an interesting transfer saga.

About Mats Hummels, I've always been a fan of his and thought he had an excellent World Cup last year but I think Otamendi would be a better fit for us.

The reason why Otamendi would probably be a better fit is because he's faster than Hummels, but Hummels has the strength and leadership skills at the back. Plus he's already playing for a big club, and he's a world class world cup winning player. I'm surprised Der Don doesn't rate him and you can't blame him for his inconsistency this season because the team as a whole have been pathetic. At their worst, they should be coming 3rd or 4th but bottom half of the table shows that the players were extremely out of form and didn't bother much either so the CB can't do much alone. And because Jurgen Klopp resigned as manager, who made Hummels shine as a Dortmund player in the first place, Hummels would ideally want to move elsewhere and face a new challenge, and he's at that age where he should be anyway. I think Clyne should be a priority though because if we get him, the weight on Valencia's shoulders will be dramatically reduced and he'll be either playing in his main position or on the bench.

As for Gundogan, if he can play well in DM, then we should get him.

Yeah, as an American I have been surprised. So many young players are breaking through and it's perfect momentum going into our regional (CONCACAF) tournament, the gold cup (North America's equivalent of the Euro cup). Got nothing but high hopes for the national team.

Who knows, maybe Pirlo stays for another year. I hope so. Some players you wish they'd never retire or leave.

There's no point. He's at the point and age where he can contribute nothing to the team apart from his experience and team talk. He might as well leave and be officially a living Juventus and football legend. He clearly knows this as well.

And Germany losing to USA is absolutely shocking. At home as well, Holy sh*t. I still think they can't be bothered anymore, after all they are one of the teams that have the most record of world cup wins and they're probably waiting for catch up from other teams. That's a big maybe though, or maybe they're performing badly right now on purpose considering it's only friendlies.

It was a friendly after all. I remember us losing a friendly at home to Norway some years ago. It's not really that shocking.

Once again on Hummels: I do rate him, but it seems that his reputation abroad (especially in England) is way too good. It's not only this season that he's inconsistent. It's been this way since 2008.

Oh, and we finished 7th, not bottom half of the table ;) I agree though we've been awful this season.

To be fair, 7th for a team like that really is like ending up on the bottom half of the table. It's unacceptable.

Martinez (great striker) was not yet signed by AC Milan, though it seems it's most likely to happen soon.

It also seems that Falcao will be joining Chelsea (1 season loan), Mario Pasalic moving to Monaco:

Falcao will be top scorer in the league mark my words. He's a f*cking phenomenal talent when he plays with a manager that suits him/his faith in him.

No doubt that Falcao, with no injury's issues, is "the ultimate killer".

Imo, if going for any (Colombian) striker atm, Martinez would be a sure bet (younger too) - no loan allowed though 30M£, take it or leave it!
