Ronaldo Nazario da Lima, best ever...

Also, you know where the best players are when they're at their max peak.

And I always affirmed clearly that mine is a personal opinion hence a highly subjective one. If it suits you better saying it is a biased one, no problem for me, all opinions are substantially biased in a way or another, especially the mainstream ones. ;)

Right, but what would be the point of being on a forum if you boil everything you say down to "It's just my opinion"? It's all good, though.

Congrats to Juve on winning the Italian Cup. Two down, one to go! Go on and complete the treble, you'll do football a favor! :D Not only do you deserve it for having worked hard to get there, you deserve it on the merits of not being Barcelona. :p

Also congrats to Sunderland on surviving relegation. I've had a soft spot for them since the beginning and they've been one of my favorite underdog teams to root for on the side.

Hearing rumours that Ancelotti is getting the boot from Madrid and Rafa Benitez is coming in... the f*ck!? Massive downgrade - he might've done well at Valencia, but the Spanish league has changed a fair bit in the 10+ years he's been gone. He's had his successes in European competitions, which I guess is why Madrid are (allegedly) interested, but the past few years he hasn't done much - failed at Inter, mixed bag at Chelsea, and Napoli have regressed a little bit under him by the looks of it.

That would just show how out of touch with reality Real Madrid's board is. He has 3 Champions League on his resume, had the team destroying early in the season before suddenly it went on a tailspin, and is one of the best managers out there. It would be insane to fire him after a "bad" season, where Real pretty much challenged for everything it competed in. Do they seriously expect the team to just win everything every year?

Also, replacing with Rafa Benitez, hahahahahahahahaha.

That's today's football but I do agree with sacking him. ;)

Juve won its 10th Italian Cup. First team to win 10 and a trophy we didn't win in the past 20 years.

What a great year it is already. We only need one last win now to make it absolutely historical. ;)

Do not read... Article about CR. :pp

This is to take with a grain of salt cause Marca is certainly not a totally reliable source but, if this is true, it is this kind of star attitude that I don't like in CR.

Who the hell does he think he is to set himself aside from the season performance of the team to the point of complaining and asking guarantees for next season? Not a champ.

So whats the deal with Raheem Sterling and this bullsh*t agent of his?

Link to comment

Probably not true. And, well, he is the team's best player for the past 6 or so years. Usually carrying Real along with the goals he has been scored. Granted, the team plays in a way that enables that to happen, but still. Guy's got credit, and I'm sure if we look around you can find dirt on any player. I mean, what is with R9's dealings with trannies half a decade ago, or Messi's problems with the tax man, or even Neymar and his father conning Santos out of the transfer money paid by Barcelona... :pp

Never really like the Bale transfer, thought it was way way too overpaid, and put an enormous pressure on him. Then Real signs Keylor to just never really play him, despite Casillas falling down in quality. Then signing James Rodriguez... They haven't learned their lesson from their Galacticos era.

I think Boro deserve to go up.

All the reliable United journalists are going with Bastian Schweinstieger is wanted by van Gaal. Makes sense that van Gaal would want him, LvG was the man who converted him from a winger to a central midfielder. Very good player still at the age of 30 but would be hard to lure him away from Bayern unless Pep wants to get rid of him at the right price.

Ancelotti needs to stay. We've changed managers seemingly every year ever since Del Bosque left. Mourinho didn't work out too well but we've been clicking pretty fine with Carlo. Four trophies last year, a mediocre second half of the season performance robbed us of the big 3 trophies but the players enjoy playing under him and you build a successful team by staying the same for a few years instead of changing every minute. Luckily, I'm hearing that the players themselves have requested that he remains with the club so that should be a big factor in the decision making.

As great as James Rodriguez is, I really wish we hadn't sold Di Maria. I don't follow Man Utd but I heard he's been pretty bad there to the point of getting benched but in Real, he was always the backbone and when the rest of the team wasn't up to the task, he would do everything to help. Case in point, the CL final.

He hasn't been that bad. He's just still settling in and needs to adapt to van Gaal's philosophy/system. Di Maria has still managed to grab 13 assists this season which shows how good he is considering this has been labeled his settling in season. I think he scored our best goal this season too.

On the one hand, Schweinsteigger is one of the most experienced midfielders in the world and an excellent player, but on the other you can see he is ageing and I don't think it's a good idea to get someone who's legs are already starting to tire out and the premier league will be unforgiving for him. Not only that, but he's injury prone and not pacey. However, considering he might cost us a damn good bargain, I'd be open to this.

As for Di Maria, the reason he is out of form is because he needs to get used to the league, he probably didn't expect such ruthlessness and speed of the game. Most importantly, his mansion got robbed so he's obviously mentally scarred from that which is holding him back. I don't blame him. But what I would suggest to him is that this is England, you better get used to seeing scums robbing houses and sh*t.

Real Madrid's board are the worst I've seen. They can get out of the football world because they clearly don't know what they're doing. Let Ancelloti go and the club is going down big time, and I'd love for that to happen actually.

Schweinsteiger's only 30? He seems to have been around forever. Saying that, I remember seeing him play in Euro 2004, probably not long after beeing first capped for Germany, and he was pretty impressive. Still played down the wing then, obviously, but he looked like one to watch even then.

It's the same with Philipp Lahm. He's only 31 but it seems like he's been around forever.

Apparently, Bayern will not stop Schweinsteigger from deciding his future at the Allianz or at Old Trafford. That's good news especially when Guardolia says it. He's got a good 3-5 years left in him.

For me, it feels like they're still young (which they kind of are) and what's harder to digest is how fast time has gone by. Here we are in 2015 and it still doesn't feel like 2004-05 was a decade ago to me.

Actually I've come to terms with accepting the mid 00s as a long time ago, but 2008-09 still feels very recent yet so far away.

I can think of many games where Di Maria simply didn't perform for Madrid in the league over the years, I mean fair play for showing up in extra time of the CL final but the guy is vastly overrated and horribly inconsistent. A world beater on a good day, useless on the next. James, as much as I hate the smug little prick, is vastly superior and despite Madrid not winning a trophy he has improved their team.

lol, now I understand what it means when older people say "I remember the 80s like it was yesterday". In my mind, that sounded impossible at first but now I've entered my 20s and look back 15 years in time and still remember details of random days so well that it still sounds fresh.

December 2014.

"We want Ancelotti to be our Ferguson"... :D

I don't like Ancelotti as a coach but it is a bit ridiculous that he's being sacked after bringing the 10th to the club.

Coaches need more time to build a team. Next year RM will win nothing again.

Ancelotti needs to stay. Even the fans have voted for him to remain.

Too bad the league went out of our hands when we confidently had it six months ago, but at least the it ends with a nice 7-3 win with another hattrick for Cristiano (finally scored a nice freekick again!).

EDIT: Ronaldo has also posted on social media his support for Carlo and said he hopes they continue to work together next season. If Perez sacks him despite supporters and players all saying he should stay, then I think it's Perez himself who needs to go because he's not fit to run the club when the overwhelming majority think he's making the wrong decision.

We should be able to come back next season and our chances of winning Liga are higher with Barcelona not being able to buy anyone for the first half and some positions missing players as Alves and Xavi are finished.

Xavi what a legend, unlike others he actually won everything and yet never won a golden ball. Says a lot about how little meaning the golden ball has since FIFA took charge of it. Funny how some winners do actually believe they are the best of all times when they're not even the best of that year...:lol:

I think it's already clear Ancelotti is a goner. Which is an unbelievable stupid mistake by Real... But a golden chance for Milan to get him back and get the team into shape. Or else Juve will just continue amassing Serie A titles.

As a Real fan, it's disgusting to see Perez sacking Carlo. :/ He should be given another chance. He gave us 4 cups last season.

It's official according to Marca:

http://www.marca.com/2015/05/24/futbol/equipos/real_madrid/1432424679.html

RM is a bit schizophrenic when it comes to what they really want.

The new coach will have to pick up the squad and build it again.

Next season now has the potential to be worse than this one.

Xavi might be one of the only few football players that is loved by a whole region (Catalonia) and disliked by the people if their hometown (Terrassa).

Unlike Iniesta that did donate money to his local team (Albacete Balonpie), Xavi has not even with his City's club was bankrupt.

If I spent hundreds of millions of euros every season i would want to win almost every trophy as possible.
