He's improved so much and is only getting better too. I appreciate him more obviously because I'm a United supporter and he's saved us on so many occasions I don't where the f*ck we would be without him.

De Gea is not the best goalkeeper in the world, one of the best? Maybe. But Neuer is better than him. Also, De Gea hasn't really played for Spain because Bosque does not use him much for god knows what reason. Neuer, on the other hand is Germany's first choice goal keeper. If De Gea played consistently for Spain, then I think he could become the best but it'll take a lot for him to beat Neuer. I'd say Courtois is better than him too.

 

Good win for United though. I think we could see Rodgers leaving Liverpool before the end of the season, like Moyes did. Nice to see this topic gaining some activity too. It's been pretty dead over the past couple of weeks.

Dortmund. Better than others for Juve. It's doable but it won't be easy. I say it's 50/50. Very balanced.

Mourinho actually predicted and expected for us to get PSG. We're prepared for it. Also, having beaten them last year gives us a mental edge. We also have a better, more balanced squad than last year. I wouldn't bet against Chelsea getting through to the quarters.

That's why I wrote easy/medium.

Leverkusen it's medium difficulty for ATM.

ATM is still last year runner up so I consider it favorite against BL.

 

EDIT: beside the 1997 Champions final we lost against Dortmund, I still recall the double UEFA cup final between the two teams.

Just look at the lineups... I miss times in which temas were made mainly by locals... We had 2 great Germans though.

Don't think it's a good move for a 16 year old. Should've gone to a "smaller" club like Ajax first. They were also interested. He would have made the Ajax squad within a couple of years and been playing CL at the age of 17. The chances he will make it into the Bayern squad anytime soon are slim. Instead, he will be playing for the Reserves in the 4th division.

This might be true for an average player but not for a world class talent. Messi made his debut in the Champions league in 2004 at the age of 17.

 

He is reading Messi's biography. If he wants to become like Messi he must go the same early path to success.

 

He is doing alot of extra training on his own apart from the team training. He is ambicious, and that's what he needs to be to become the best.

Yesterday the police arrested two fans in the Sabadell stadium for doing the "Nazi salute"

I was in the stadium and saw thw whole thing live. Since Sabadell is a small team, i happened to know one of the guys who did this, and he is not a Nazi at all, he even votes and simpatizes with Left Wing ideology. He was arrested and kicked from the stadium plus finned and NOT allowed to come back never again. The people who where sitting around him, said that he had BOTH arms up while singing chants just like this but a bit higher:

 

 

The police later said that both fans said racist things to an african player from Leganes FC which the african player said on an interview that it was false and he never felt insulted during the game.

 

 

The reality of the situation

 

1. Spanish cops failed to do their job properly when the Atletico Ultras and Deportivo's Ultras started a fight (the fight was planned days before the match by both ultra groups). So now, they want revenge and show the press they can do a good job even if that means arresting people without being violent or racist.

 

2. Yesterday, all the stadium whistled, protested and where angry at OUR players and our High rank directors and executives for the current bad situation of our club. (21st position out of 22nd in the league). I bet they executives got angry and send the police.

 

The chants where not violent or racist:

 

"Gordillo leave know"

 

"Our Players don't deserve the jersey the wear"

 

"mercenaries are sabadell players"

 

"Our youth team platers are better"

It was a joke lighten up It's really not a bizarre statement to say he's better as I explained on the last page I appreciate De Gea more because he's United's goalkeeper and he's saved us on many occasions.

 

I'm not trying to say De Gea is terrible as yes he is one of the better goalkeepers in the world right now but I wouldn't say 'no doubt' is he the best. Everything De Gea can do Neuer can do to, every save De Gea made on Sunday I have no doubt that Neuer would of made aswell that coupled with the fact that Neuer is better with his feet and can come out and clean anything up without hardly ever making a mistakes makes him the best in the world. Not just this year but for the past four or so years now.

 

Wheter he plays for United or not shouldn't come in to the equation. Suarez was amazing last year for us but I would of never of said he was better than Messi or Ronaldo as even though he's good he isnt that good. I guess all the United fans I've ever come across have that United bias that doesn't let them think and see things properly at times.
