Mahrez and Mendy are two players who completely sabotage the flow of City's attack and they've been doing it all season. I'll never understand why Pep preferred Mahrez to Bernardo for the most part this season. He was one of the most important players last season and played wonderful football. He's more suited to City's style than Mahrez.

If you don't want him send him to us. (for free plz we're broke)

Good win today, Kane was lethal there against Leicester, plus 2 goals against Newcastle the other day as well, nice. Hopefully United can take advantage now too.

I know ya no fan of Jose' tactics and such @Jason, but outside the 2 Manchester clubs, we are the form team. I know I'm good with that, but this Mourinho era for us is key as we need to learn to play and win ugly, you know? We did the pretty stuff under Poch but there was too many times other teams knew to be cute against us, especially in Europe, and if anything, we as a club need to learn to be a tougher, smarter, and more resilient team like that to really grow. I do think Jose will add that to our game, but we'll know more after some transfers and next season kicks off. I'm not one of his critics at the mo.

Very surprised to see City lose to the gooners though, lol. Still, hopefully United can pip Chelsea shortly and serve those gooners up. 🤣

Well, that's what happens when you try the same trick two or three games in a row, Ole, they figure it out. That game also I think highlights our lack of depth, players like James and Bailly aren't terrible but you can't rely on them in those games.

Not that arsed about going out after todays Spurs result to be honest, getting into the CL has to be our priority this season.

Didn't Ole play 3 at the back instead of the usual 4? Pretty sure that was what upset your form and De Gea's keeping didn't help your case even after you went back to 4 at the back. Good read and set up by Lampard though. I honestly did not expect us to pull off such a convincing win. Giroud has been so important for us these last few games and Pulisic got a much deserved rest too considering Liverpool are up next.

And I really wish we had sold CHO to Bayern when we had the chance. Not sure if anyone's gonna take him for 30-40m now and with Ziyech & Werner coming in, I don't see a way in for him.

Yea, but we've done that 3412/41212 style formation multiple times vs Chelsea now if memory serves. It became our go to setup for games vs the top 6 clubs, Frank read him like a book this time and matched up and we had no answer to it.

There should be a way to make him part of the rotation somehow, because he is the future. With Champions League next season there are plenty of games. Pedro is the one that should be sold. Callum is the kind of talent where in a few seasons what you just said will potentially look like the dumbest comment in football.

I haven't seen much from Hudson-Odoi tbh so I don't what all the noise is about. He doesn't seem to be that talented. But I could be mistaken since he hasn't been a starter that much this season.

Pedro is already off to Roma.

About CHO, even before the Bayern interest, he showed glimpses of his talent but nothing really that would have made us pay him an insane salary if it hadn't been for Bayern and the transfer ban. Then the injury happened and those glimpses of talent turned into maybe a couple of good moves every game that he was played. And in none of those games did he manage to impress enough to deserve a starting spot. There's only a 50% chance that he may turn out to be good in a couple of years but will he have the patience to be okay with not starting every game? I don't think so. Even if he does show patience, are we going to be patient enough with him given his high wages? I don't think so. Pretty sure Marina will evaluate whether to cut our losses sooner than later before his transfer value drops.

The kid has really shot himself in the foot with his high wage demand without really establishing himself on the big stage first. The only advantage that he has in his favour right now is that he's English and Lampard may have a soft spot for him but the the rest is all on him.

No words.

We're a f*cking joke when it comes to taking advantage of the teams around us. I don't care how many games we've played recently, a draw is horrendous. No expectations for what will happen on Sunday. Leicester will probably do us.

Another chance, another bottle job.

We are obviously feeling fatigue in places but sometimes you've just gotta get the job done and we've bottled it twice now, completely spineless performance. Ole also clearly has zero faith in our depth which is worrying for next season unless we're buying a new bench. Dalot, Lingard, Mata, he doesn't want to touch them even when we have players looking tired. We're still on the right track with the team but this dip in form is definitely showing where we need to improve a lot still.

The way I see it, United were content with a draw. I didn't see them push for the win. Who knows maybe they are confident they can get a draw against Leicester. Leicester had more rest though and are gonna play like they life depends on it on Sunday so it's gonna be interesting.

Bruno was horrendous today. Probably fatigue. If he doesn't perform United are pretty much f*cked attacking wise.

United have been spineless though and have not shown enough desire in the past games IMO. Fatigue is no excuse. All teams are dealing with it. They have themselves to blame if Leicester beat them on Sunday. There's nothing I hate more than a gutless team that is content with a draw. On the plus side though at least Leicester have none of their fans. That would make the job super hard. They probably would've blown up the stadium.

Bruno has been off it for a good 3-4 games now, he looks half dead at the moment. I really wish Ole was way more pro active with his subs. We had so many players out there who were just truly awful. Rashford was horrible and he waits till the final five minutes to do anything. Matic was slowing down nearly every attack. I hope now he's got his contract he won't go back to playing like a pensioner.

Liverpool currently 4-3 up. Regardless of how this ends we just need a draw, and I can't say I feel good about that at all.

Every time Ole has went to his bench or rotated, they've let him down, every single time. That's the reason he's not going to his bench, because he doesn't trust any of them, even James is not what I'd say in favour and we bought him this season.

Our best eleven is exhausted and the energy and thus intensity has gone right out of the game, when we show it in spells we look dangerous but we've went from maintaining it for the vast majority of the match to intermittent spells here and there. We need to get Sancho in and probably another striker, one that we trust and no one we throw on in the last 10 mins as a gamble which Ighalo has become. Plus, a reliable left back going forward as AWB coming on showed just how much we rely on fullbacks with the system we play now and we need someone who can be dependable on the left side cause Williams is no where near ready as well as being right footed and Shaw's delivery and reliability is highly questionable.

Chelsea's result doesn't really do much for us right now but it's still yet another example of top 4 teams dropping points and us not taking advantage, we're not going to challenge for a title while that mentality continues to thrive. Yes the team is tired but in games like tonight are a prime example of a game where you have to figure out a way to win and get it over with. If we want to be in CL and challenge for titles we need to be winning games like tonight, it's that simple.

When we were flying everyone was thinking oh we just need maybe one or two, get Sancho in, maybe a centrehalf or something and we'll be sorted. It's potentially a good thing in hindsight we had this dip because it's highlighted other areas too, including depth.

United should get Maddison. They need another good player that can play as a 10 so they don't completely depend on Bruno, who indeed was bad today.

By all accounts we're way more interested in Grealish as it stands. If Villa stay up that's a lot more added to any potential transfer.

I'd be over the moon if we got Sancho, but we've been here many times before, so at this point I'm just burying my head in the sand regarding transfers and just see what happens.

Maddison and Grealish would both cost huge money cause of the young English tax, so I'm iffy on both tbh. Leicester are in no rush to accept anything less than probably £60m for any of their young English players.

Personally I want a right winger and a centrehalf cause while I like Lindelof he physically just doesn't cut it and he worries me at times. Winger, CB and LB would be a decent window but we could also use a holding midfielder who is good on the ball and more depth for up front. It would be nice to see us really go big in the summer and pick up some smart buys but I think we'll be aiming to get three players in and that'll be that.

Always a fair point tbh. But then again both of them will want to join a big team like Utd at some point so it is going to happen anyway. But if you want something for a more reasonable price you could just as well get Calhanoglu for all I care, but there needs to be another player that can play well as a 10. As for Sancho, that's future Ballon D'or material I think. Would be a gigantic signing, but I think Sancho is good enough to play anywhere he wants, so we'll see what he chooses.

On another note, I'm kinda interested where Lingard will be going..

I think United need a winger and a left back more than anything. I think Pogba can play number 10 if they ever need him to. I actually think he'll be more useful in those positions than playing that far away from the net.

F*cking get in. Been searching for that result all season, not playing well, tired legs, still get the 3 points.

Aaaaaaaaaaand now United fans can relax and enjoy the EL no matter what happens and look forward to the summer window to boot.

6th ain't bad considering, lol. Europa league is probably something Jose will try winning too. Hopefully we really fix the squad now though.

Was fun to see Leicester fold in the end too, glad for United. Shame Villa survived, but hopefully them and Leeds will get spanked about next term, league needs whipping boys, lol. Watford deserved to go down after sacking their manager with 2 games left, thought they did alright given where they were when Pearson got the job. Daft.

Liverpool haven't exactly looked formidable of late though. Of course, once the title was cemented, it's only natural they ease up a little, but do kind of hope City take it to them next year and maybe start another 30 year wait.

Feel for the two guys who took bets on Lingard not scoring or assisting in the 19/20 season. What a way to do it!

Absolutely chuffed, overall. Nerves were ridiculous until that first goal. Literally could not care any less about Europa, but hopeful for any potential transfers.

Yep me neither. A trophy would be nice but given when the EL/CL ends this season, we'd be going a little while with CL qualification being a huge question mark during a period where I imagine we'll be looking to bring players in. Now with CL next year locked in there's a giant weight off our shoulders in the EL so we can rest some players who really need it hopefully and also get our transfer business going with the attraction of CL football already secure.

Arsenal are starting to look Solid under Arteta. Though I doubt their sh*tty board support him enough in the transfer market.

UCL coming up. So many injuries and suspensions. Can't wait to get spanked by Napoli and put this season behind us. Otherwise I'm afraid Bayern will absolutely demolish us.

As long as PSG, Bayern, Juve and Madrid don't win it I'm ok.

Yeah, I've always liked Arteta somehow, and he actually does seem a pretty good coach. Considering the defenders he has available he's doing great.

Chelsea started well but after about 10 minutes they basically completely lost their way. They have two players renowned for their creativity in midfield and neither of them seem to pass forward the entire game, unlike the Arsenal midfield two as well as David Luiz and Tierney in defence. The game was lost right there for me, Arsenal were constantly looking for Pepe, Auba and Lacazette but Giroud had no service and no support except for the first goal, they could've had Ronaldo up top and it'd have made no difference to the result.

Dammit I thought PSG were going out. Atalanta really didn't display what they were known for all season. They pussied out. They could have easily broken that PSG defense if they played to their strength. They betrayed their strengths and decided to be what they aren't.

Neymar has really declined though. Hope Atletico come up and knock their asses out.
