You just can't hate him. Goal of the season contender regardless what happens, goal of the season winner if they win the league.

Thanks City, 7th place secured! Now one less favour and we're officially in the UEL... And who knows, even if we're already sure of the 7th place we'll might give you a little help against Liverpool.

That's why you close down. You absolutely close down. It's a one in a million shot, but it can happen. Amazing strike, though.

It kind of reminded me of the Brazilian defender Alex who played at PSV who had a powerful shot like that. They gave Kompany way too much space. Such a big strong player can in many cases give a shot powerful and difficult enough that even if it is not a goal by itself, it could be a dangerous rebound. Generally Leicester came out of the break with a far too negative approach, and then when Sané came in City's possession based game started running at a very high tempo, which started breaking down Leicester. If you play with such a negative approach aiming for 0-0 then you deserve to lose.

Once again I was reminded how good it is that City are out of the UCL. How the f*ck did they lose? You just can't cope with the pressure. Their attack is scary af. You have to have the ball yourself if you want to succeed against them. If you sit back you're gonna die eventually. Leicester had the balls to go forward in the first half but I don't know what the hell happened to them in the second half.

Mrs. Kompany is gonna show Vincent a good time because of that goal though...

Imagine having 97 points and only one defeat and still not winning the league. Only Liverpool can do that. But it's their fault. They got too cocky when they were 8 points clear in December. Seems like they always like to "chase" the top instead of holding it.

Imagine if they hadn't lost, and still lost the title. Like a knock-off version of the Invincible Arsenal. That would be such a punch to the gut!

Amazing end to the season. All to be decided in the last game. Exciting!

Heh, apparently that was the first shot outside the box by Kompany since 2013! Mental!

f*cking hate Liverpool but I can't even be mad about that result, Barca fully deserved this, absolute shambles.

Schoolboy level defending for that 4th goal, I don't know what the f*ck they were doing. Pool have to be huge favourites now.

Holy sh*t. They actually did it. The absolute madmen.

Barca showed that if Messi isn’t playing well, then the entire team won’t play well.

f*ck this will be a fantastic final!

Woah, it happened again, Roma 2.0!

And Barca joins our group called "Next year we'll win it"

GG Liverpool, I hope you'll find Ajax in the final... But I won't support you anyway 😁

Same old barca away from home in the CL. You can't call this a miracle because this is literally what we do every year away from home. This is why Madrid have 13 trophies. They don't give a sh*t if they are playing away or not. I can't believe we have bottled 6 UCL titles in the Messi era.

AMAZING, that singing together at the end, I turn to much volume on TV, woke up my little sister :(

To that overrated fella from Brazil - have a safe flight home -

Can't even moan, Barca just got butchered. Messi was marked, doubled up on and when that failed kicked out of the game and as a result Barca had nothing. No pace, no energy, nothing. I'd go as far as saying they humiliated them.

Gini had the best 45 minutes of his life.

And so ends the dominance of Spanish football I suppose, could be seeing all English finals in both European cups this season.

This is the end of the Spanish era. Both Madrid and Barca need an overhaul. And we have to realize you can't defend against a team like Liverpool while two of your players are too arrogant to come back and help. It's never gonna work. I love Messi but if he had half the heart Ronaldo had in this situations he would have won far more trophies both with Barca and his national team. But then again, everyone has flaws. Messi walks. And that's his flaw.

Yep, after 5 years of dominance the Spanish football won't have an UCL winner and (probably) neither an UEL winner. England could dominate the next years, City, Tottenham and Liverpool are becoming very very strong sides in Europe, unlike some years ago.

Personally I always "hated" a bit the "Ronaldo vs. Messi" topic, they're different players who live these situations in a different way. They're both fantastic players and they could have a bad night considering they're human beings too.

If Ronaldo is left alone (like we do at Juve, damn Allegri 😞) he can't do that much a part from getting back to defend. What I found incredible is how much Barca is Messi-depending, when he isn't in a perfect shape so is Barca... And this applies to all the recent Barca bottles in the UCL (Juve 1st leg, Roma 2nd leg and then tonight).

But I don't want to see the Premier League on top of Europe... I prefer the Eredivisie!

....

Plot twist: Spurs win it, 5-0 the final result. Arsenal win the UEL, 5 English teams in the UCL.

or

2nd Plot twist: Ajax win it, Valencia make a comeback and win the UEL... Ajax - Valencia will be remembered as the UEFA Super Cup with the most appeal.

Man I just can't take this anymore. I've been supporting the team for 19 years. We've had worse times. We weren't even favourites back in the day but none of them hit as hard as this because we have the quality now and we bottle it because of cowardness. I wish we could get Erik Ten Hag next year but unfortunately they probably will keep Valverde. Another year wasted. I've been crying for 40 minutes and I don't even cry that much in my life. WTF is wrong with me.

I fancy Wolves to get a result on Sunday at Anfield now after that.

As for the Champions League, whoever wins out of Ajax and Spurs I'd be routing for them, and that isn't just some anti-Scouse, Mancunian pride thing, I'd just like to see a fresh face win it, since Liverpool have already done so a few times.

Virgil Van Dijk is incredible. He deserves to be the next defender to win the golden ball after Cannavaro. It's amazing how much he has increased the level of Liverpool's defense.

Barcelona, what can I say? Valverde is rubbish. His gameplan is basically "Messi will figure it out. Or Alba will.". When either aren't playing well, the team falls apart. How can you have one of the best attacking force in Europe, and go in a match to hold a result? Absolutely appalling.

Also, this is some incredible atmosphere at Anfield.

Ahahah, they won't have enough energies against us (hopefully).

And we have to give you back the favour you did yesterday somehow ;)

Liverpool with everyone completely top fit could beat Barcelona in my opinion ... I don't think Barcelona is currently as good as they were in 2015, and I think they can be beaten.

I said it lol. Turns out even with Shaqiri and Origi it could be done.

Yep, also what happened today. Barca should've aimed to make one goal but instead they aimed to not concede too many. Stupid.

Epic Wijnaldum brace though. Man Liverpool were good...

Wow, that was abysmal from Barcelona. As much as I'd hate to see Liverpool win the UCL, I'd be lying if I say they don't deserve to win something. And I definitely don't want Spurs to win, so go Ajax! :p

Oof, that's a tough one. Respect for Spurs though. They fought hard and did it in the last damn second. as a football fan I'm proud of an epic game, and as a fan I'm proud of Ajax. A very tough one this, but has been a great run.

Repeat of the EL final from a few years back in some ways. This time around they went 3-0 up on agg at half time and assumed the job was done. In the first half they were the fearless team we've seen this year, in the second half they were the naive and nervous team we saw in the EL final.

All English final me right up. Future of the Premier League is looking good.

Also once again Eriksen is moved into deep midfield and Spurs suddenly get control of the game, really don't know why he keeps getting stuck out wide.

Jesus Christ it’s like the footballing gods decided to reward us with amazing games this season! First the Liverpool comeback, and now the Spurs one. How the hell could this Ajax bottle an effective 3-0 lead?!

Amazing game. And Lucas Moura, wow. This has seriously upped his level. 3 goals to get Spurs through, wow.

All english final. The age of Spain is coming to an end.

Spurs played an absolutely top game. No doubt.

I don't think I'm going to see Ajax in a game like this maybe ever again, so I'm cherishing this moment eventhough we lost!

Ajax were a lovely team. It's a shame they had to go out but with this defense they would have been murdered against Liverpool. Respect to them they were a very brave team. English teams have too much money to be dealt with by any league at the moment. If Spain wants a comeback they need to hit the academies like the early 00s and build a godsent youth team like 2008-12

Could you Imagine if spurs win their first CL title sooner than Arsenal?
