Liverpool winning the league would be the football equivalent of a natural disaster for the country.

It just can't happen.

Brexit + Liverpool Champions. Imagine if they do a double with the Champions League? Boy oh boy!

I don't agree with that all, club size / history has nothing to do with it, as long as competition for the title exists and it's not the same club winning every year.

In our league Feyenoord hadn't won for 18 years and it just started to get ridiculous. I think it's good if the top teams actually win once in a while. It keeps all the teams individually flourishing, and thus makes the league and the competition in it flourish as a whole.

See, this is why Chelsea wins it one season and then completely f*cks up the next - it's to give the others a chance to win for the sake of keeping the competition alive. KTBFFH!!!

So with no Son, so Ali in attack, no Winks, no Sissoko, Moussa Dembele in China, no Lamela, how will the Tottham midfield look against Ajax? Dier, Wanyama, Eriksen? Dier is probably gonna be terrible to be honest. No game rythm. And they have no decent substitutes for midfield in this scenario.

I think Alli drops more central with Erikson and Wanyama. Llorente up front and Maura more free.

I like Dier but feel he's too strong in the tackle for champions league, and with our full backs that could be wingers we've got a good selection there, plus Vertongan is quite flexible which might help. :)

@Jason. What's your ideal scenario tonight? Assuming Liverpool and City win all other games..

Lol!!

I get ya, me too really but I'd rather you guys make top 4 than the other 2 London clubs though. After last weekend, if anyone still wants it, lol.

Didn't see us, Arsenal, United and Chelsea all drop points. And it took us a while to break Brighton down last night too.

Yeah, 5 at the back is probably the best solution. But having nothing on the bench isn't good for Spurs.

Yeah, hopefully making regular UCL appearances helps us grow. I'm still chuffed we got this far considering the lack of transfer activity. Hope its a good couple of games.

f*cking hell. Lingard and Fred wouldn't make it to the Huddersfield starting XI if their life depended on it. Expected performance from United. I guess next year is Liverpool's year. Or the year after. They'll eventually get there. Or will they? They broke their highest points in a season record and still can't take it. They are cursed.

What a match we've just played tonight! 3-1, just a few distractions at the end, but a very solid performance that brings us back to 7th!

Now let's prepare for an "all-in" match against Watford, we MUST win it. And then there's Fulham!

Considering that Watford could potentially be at -4, Leicester has to play against Man City and Arsenal (hopefully not the same as tonight) and Everton will face Tottenham, if we're good (and lucky) we'll might be able to lose at Anfield and still be 7th... But one step at the time, saturday we need one of our best performance.

Well that's the easy tie out of the way, just that banana skin at Burnley to go next.

So happy for Wolves. They got what they deserved. Such a lovely team.

Lol the top 4 race is a joke though. Everyone just keep bottling it like they don't want it.

YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!! This is probably the most important win of all the season! +4 on Watford and Everton, +6 on Leicester that still has to play against Arsenal and Man City.

Now we don't have to make mistakes against Fulham, they're on a winning streak but we're more than capable to defeat them... If we don't bottle it of course!

Lol PSG is a joke. Good on Rennes, though.

Imagine spending 400 million to win the Ligue 1 a couple of times lol.

Wow! Rennes is in 11th place in Ligue 1, so not only they won the national cup, but they've also qualified for the UEL.

GG Rennes!

I just love it so much when P$G f*ck up.

Won the league. Two more to go but still I'm expecting Liverpool to go through. They play better than us but something tells me we haven't shown what we're truly capable of yet this season. I've seen us play incredibly when we "need" to but slowing things down on purpose after getting the crucial goals. I don't know. I hope we can beat Liverpool but right now they seem like the better team. Also the fact that the second leg is in Anfield helps them to just sit back at Camp Nou and murder us with Salah/Mane on the counter. It's good though that we have speedy fullbacks who can keep up.

Oh David. He's earned the love and respect of the fans, we're not gonna throw him to the wolves or anything but Christ almighty does he needs dropping, even if it's just for a game or two, for his own sake. His confidence is completely shot.

The amount of bottlejobs at the top 4 race is insane. Tbh none of them deserve a CL spot. Give it to some other league. Might as well give it to Wolves.

It's actually embarrassing how far ahead the top 2 are from the rest of the top 6, especially for Arsenal, United and Chelsea who aren't exactly shrewd spenders.

The worst part is, it's not strange either. Both Liverpool and City are miles ahead of the rest both in terms of managers and players. It's clear they had a long running project to get this far. A project that has taken years but is now paying off. While the rest of the teams have been just running around in circles over and over. Though Spurs still look decent enough IMO considering they haven't bought anyone in the TW.

I was watching the Leicester-Arsenal match and I'm thinking the Leicester players are actually better than Arsenal. A 3-0 result isn't odd at all. They are actually f*cking better. I mean they could've easily been in the Arsenal XI right now.

For me Leicester are the bogey team of the top 6 for the past few years. Everton are traditionally it (especially at the Goodison) but they've been iffy lately. Vardy's a gigantic thorn in the arse of a lot of the top 6, his record against top 6 clubs is up there with players like Aguero and Kane.

Man, they should make a Hollywood scenario out of it called 'the bottling' starring Nicolas Cage as Solskjaer. They should put the end of the season of places 3 to 6 in a bottle, throw it in the ocean, and hope noone remembers it.

Welp, top four is gone. Would need insane luck to get into that position now so roll on next season. No doubt we'll likely pick up two comfortable wins against bottom tier clubs to give fans a sense of false hope going into the summer.

- De Gea has been poor for ages now. Love him but he's literally costing us points when he used to be saving us so many.

- Rashford has been the same. Was apparently carrying a shoulder injury going into today and made it worse. We're playing Hudds and Cardiff with little to no chance of making the top four, let him rest and give the youngsters some game time.

- Matic is painful to watch 90% of the time. I understand McTominay might not have been 100% but if Matic is still with us next season he should be no more than backup.

- If Pogba voices his discontent via himself or his agent in the summer f*ck him off. He's world's apart from our other mids in natural ability, but it's only a matter of time before he goes, so rip the band-aid off and do it now to save the stress in the future.

- Most importantly, please for the love of God get rid of the deadwood. If people like Ashley Young, Phil Jones, Matic, Pereira, Rojo, Smalling and countless others are regularly starting games for us next season we might as well not bother.

Also, I still have a gut feeling Liverpool are going to win the league via City f*cking up against Leicester. Please don't let it happen, City.
