It's kind of like I'm dreaming. It's just completely unbelievable. What a game.

Holy f*ck. Holy f*ck that was amazing! Such a brilliant match by Ajax!

Well deserved too, specially after that ridiculous VAR call in the first leg. Way to go!

Such a brave display by our "Step Brothers", Ajax. Kinda sad though that teams like Ajax are gonna lose their players soon. Just like what happened to Monaco. They have literally no chance at going back to the old days when they were ruling Europe.

At least they know how to sell them, how to make the cash: 75 million pounds for Frenkie De Jong.. 40 million euros for Sanchez and 27 million euros for Klaasen last year...

In my native Brazil, our talent goes out even younger and even cheaper. Sao Paulo sold Neres for 12 million! Eder Militao for only 8 million! Casemiro for 6 million!

Even Neymar allegedly went for Barca for less than 20 million euros. Absolutely robbery.

Neymar was bought for 88 million if I'm not mistaken. Though most of the money went to his Dad's instead of Santos.

Still you guys sold Vinicius for 60 million and Arthur for 30 million but it seems like Brazil still loses a lot of stars for a low price.

Yeah, Santos saw only a fraction of that money, which is absolutely ludicrous.

And that's only in recent time, and by luck. Still, they got out incredibly young, without even the time to win anything at home, which is a shame.

Yeah, Brazil and Argentina have lots of good players who are normally sold for a few bucks (a part from some rare exceptions). @TheSantader25 is right, Neymar was payed 88 million €, but I didn't know the fact that his dad took more than the 50%. But 222M - 88M = 134M, Barca in the end made a very good deal!

Back to Real - Ajax, I'd put this match under a category called "things that make you child again". Ajax yesterday sometimes reminded me of football cartoons where the "good team" is down 5-0 after the 1st half, then something happens and they make an impossible comeback scoring the 6th goal at 90'+add last minute of the injury time. But it also reminded me about kids' dreams, I think any of us imagined at least once a "clean football" where even the smallest team could compete against bigger clubs.

I don't know if Ajax will be able to reach the final but I'm sure that what they made yesterday will be remembered for many many years.

UCL has had a couple of surprises in the past couple of years. Barca's comeback against PSG, Monaco, Roma's comeback against Barca and now Ajax beating Madrid. The thing is, I believe predicting the winners was far easier in the past. I sure do hope Lyon won't surprise us next week. It's a dangerous situation. They can beat us with any draw except for a goalless one.

Bet Sergio is regretting that deliberate yellow card now. Stupid man.

Sergio Ramos, a thunderous c*nt, but a very important player for Real. He was an important factor in Madrid winning the first game. Without him, and without Cristiano, Real is a ghost of the great team they used to be. The only player on Real's side that stepped up was Modric. But it wasn't enough. And Modric was costantly hassled by Frenkie de Jong.

Ramos isn't a good defender IMO. But he is a good fighter and his presence always means higher spirit for Madrid. In the end Karma is a bitch. f*cker deserved it. I don't think he deserves to be playing this sport. He could go try wrestling or something. I'd say Ramos, Cristiano, Navas and Marcelo are 4 players that actually give a f*ck. All 4 were missing yesterday so...

Modric, Kroos and Casemiro have become arrogant and are thinking way too ahead of themselves due to their past trophies. Though I seriously don't know how Modric won that Ballon D'or.

You don't win as many trophies as Ramos has as a centreback without being a good defender. He will go down as one of the all time greats and rightfully so. He's dirty, but all teams need a player like that even though in recent years the opinion that anyone dirty is a disgrace and should be banned from playing the game has become more popular. Any successful team throughout history has had players like him, usually multiple. If Fifa ever truly stamp it out of the game then the game will be all the worse for it.

Ramos is a key player sure. Real wouldn't be this good without him EVER. But I highly disagree that he is a good "defender". Defending is not what Ramos displays. We also do need "dirty" players but everything has a limit and Ramos has certainly passed it IMO. Look at players like Arturo Vidal, Suarez and Diego Costa. Even Milan's Gattuso. Sure they do play their dirty tricks but even they know not to go as far as they shouldn't. Ramos has gone too far.

Though I gotta say Guardiola's Barcelona didn't have a dirty player. So there's a successful team without one. They did "dive" a lot though but tbh I don't blame them since they got fouled a lot.

Great win for my Spurs too. :)

Yeah I agree there. Last year when Juve knocked Spurs out it was something I was saying to my buddies, they just had that knack and experience to get a bit ruthless, something my spurs lack I feel.

Though Lamela and Alli have a bit of that in them, though Alli is more known as one to wind up, lol. We need to be cute more like how the euro giants do. Don't like the teams much, but a John Terry or Vierra/Keane type is needed. I think Eric Dyer too could.

You can be a fighter and still respect the sport. Kante, Viera and Makelele are good examples for that.

So, any united fans hoping for a comeback?

...Viera? Did you not watch the Premier League in the late 90's early 2000's? That man got into more scraps than Ramos has ever had.

None of these players lack respect for the sport, they're just willing to do whatever they have to do so their team can win. Players like Ramos and Viera tend to be some of the most unselfish players around.

Yes and I still believe he is far better than Ramos. Though I was just a kid around those times.  There's something off about Ramos. Like he actually enjoys destroying other players instead of actually doing it for the sake of his team. I can't point out how many times he has attempted to end Messi's career with tackles. Messi has been really lucky to escape most of them cause those are the sort to break you leg. Still I'm gonna admit it, I like these high tension situations. It really does add to the game. But once again I think Ramos goes too far. You gotta watch Real Madrid matches regularly to realize what I'm saying.

Hoping, yes, but realistically not expecting it. Our team is decimated with injuries.

As long as we show some fight I'll be happy.

Top 4 is doable for sure. Chelsea with the current manager is hit and miss and Arsenal are a bit inconsistent and light at the back. And Spurs have really opened the door for 3rd too.

Still big games ahead though. City/United, Liverpool and City for spurs. Plenty on offer.

I'm just hoping Ole keeps the job at United and Real go back in for Mourinho, lol. We gotta keep Poch. :)

Holy f*ck! What is going on this year. United were the underdogs the entire game and I wouldn't blame them because of the injuries but somehow managed to score 3. PSG really are the ultimate bottlers.

Hahahaha, that var 90th minute handball was refereeing at its smallest, but I kinda like it, cause United is my favorite Premier League team. If they draw Ajax then I'm definitely supporting Ajax though.

Jesus I'm in shock. I love being optimistic but I never expected this. Have so much energy now, god knows how I'm gonna sleep.

Just give Ole the job already. It's impossible not to. I f*cking love this team.

Quick 1-0, reply 1-1, essentially 3-1 down, and United fought to the end.

And won. Beautiful. Just beautiful. Brilliant.

A big f*ck off to Neymar as well. Guy was confident he could enjoy Brazilian Carnaval, play around, and be back for the quarter finals in April. But nope. Once again watching the UCL from home!

Lukaku is a beast.

I was up until 3 in the morning yesterday out of sheer astonishment. I had to rewatch the highlights and postmatch interviews dozens of times, going to sleep still not believing Ajax had actually beaten Real 4-1.
