Admittedly mulling over the idea of a points deduction is extreme, but that was mainly me moaning about how fines are nothing to these teams these days.

 

The issue I have is Spurs' error causing games to move, creating congestion for clubs and messing with fans. Okay, it's just the once so far, but what if more games get moved cause of the delay? A lot of fans plan these trips in advance, they're getting shafted because Spurs went all in on the stadium being ready and it's miles off and secondly, TV companies are then reorganising fixtures because of it. If this is a repeated thing going into the season then I won't be the only person you see bringing this up lol. It aint nothing to do with rivalries or giving a toss about where Spurs as a club.

The solution is for the clubs impacted to have the possibility to lend Spurs players to compensate for the congestion of matches. It's such an obvious solution.

People like Raiola shoudn't have nothing to do with football IMO... Regarding Pogba, I think that his future will be already defined before January, and for sure the relationship between Mourinho and the French player will play a big role.

There are journalists in Spain and Italy that regularly talk about Pogba to Barcelona or to Juventus in January, but for me they're all telling a bunch of lies. For me Pogba will remain at Man. UTD, honestly I don't see anything special about what he said, many players normally reply in that way. But I'm quite sure that with Zidane at Man. UTD the percentage of Pogba remaining in the Red Deviels will increase.

I watched Pogba become stronger and stronger in Serie A and what I understood is that he's full of potential, but for expressing his best he needs the right team and the right manager. For me if they sell him for less than €120M, Man. UTD will commit the 2nd mistake with the same player.

Yea idk what Pogba is playing at. I think certain players in the team now realise they have power over Mourinho due to the way the board acted in the window and with Martial, and they're gonna use it.

He tried to make United play like Bayern. It didn't go very well. Almost as stupid as Frank de Boer trying to make Crystal Palace play tiki-taka.

Yea we had no defenders who could play out of the back and no midfielders with any sort of creativity, so our possession was 99% sideways and backwards. We were hard to beat and good defensively for the most part, but we didn't have the players for him to do what he wanted at all. I don't know who had the say on transfers in his time either, but our transfer business was AWFUL too. So bad that it's still causing us problems today.

He signed up some promising players back then. Had Depay and Martial lived up to their potential... Di Maria also seemed like a no brainer. Schneiderlin had been performing well, but then slumped at United.

 

Falcao was a dumb move. Completely. Dude was still fresh out of a major injury, no way he would be able to deliver quickly. Schweinsteiger also stupid. Dude was getting closer to the end of his career. Never gonna perform as he did at Bayern. The defenders he brought in, specially Blind, were at best meh. Not really ball-playing defenders either.

 

United didn't have a terrible squad overall. Should have performed much better.

Then we go and get our third consecutive loss for the first time ever under Poch.

Just finished to see Valencia-Juve and the message that this match gave to UEFA is very clear: we need VAR in Champions League and in Europa League! The referee tonight was a complete disaster, leaving us in 10 (red card for Ronaldo) for no reason. Our 2nd penalty was probably a bit exagerated, but not as much as the last one conceded to Valencia. Anyway we managed to win, that's the most important thing after all... Man UTD - Juve will decide the 1st place of the group, Valencia for the moment can't compete for the 2nd place IMO.

Meh, City were sh*t tonight, I thought we would have done alright without De Bruyne, but that was the kind of match that we really could have done with him.

God I hope Dalot and Shaw stay fit and healthy for the season cause if they do they'll be finishing the season as 1st choice left back and right back. Their quality going forward is so much better than Valencia/Young. Really good debut for Dalot overall.

 

Also, whats everybody's opinion on the early kick offs in the CL? I thought I'd like them, cause hey more football, but honestly, I just found them exhausting.

Honestly I don't like so much these new early kick offs, here in Italy the matches are played during dinner time. For the moment I prefer to see all the matches played at 19.45 UK time.

The BBC Sports comments section was good read tonight with all the Anti-Jose comments from United fans.

Mourinho's stripped Pogba of the vice captaincy, so obviously a falling out of sorts there. Completely dominated by the away team at home for the nth time in the past two and a bit years.

 

But all is well cause this morning the board had a conference where they revealed we're making mad sums of cash, so that's good. 

 

Something or someone at the club is gonna blow before this seasons out I tell ya. It could be Pogba, Martial, Mourinho, Woodward or someone else, but someones gonna blow.

Couldn't care any less about going out of the Carabao Cup or whatever the hell they're calling it now, it's just the manner of the defeat that stinks to the heavens.

 

Fergie had some horrendous nights like this in the Cup, but he very rarely would put such a strong side out, so it was somewhat understandable. The side tonight should be setting Derby alight. Apart from Martial nobody looked like they gived a f*ck going forward. Credit to Fella though, he gets a lot of stick but always does the business.

 

At this stage I wouldn't at all be surprised to see either Jose or Paul gone by mid season. Fergie would have castrated Paul with some of the sly digs he's been churning out constantly this season.
