It'll probably require a client restart. However steam dont normally get the midweek deals up instantly it take like 5 mins. So a preload to go live may be longer.

Delaying everything as always

They didn't delay anything, they said April 7-th, and r* preloads are availiable, it's just Steam being delayed.

 

And people should seriously stop freaking out lol, you have a whole weak for downloading
