I can't tell if its possible to connect to it now via web as Im already connected, but it probably is if its viewable. I logged on just a moment ago and it was there on web for the first time.

I don't think they ever did game ready drivers before. The latest beta however probably already has the fully optimised profile for V.

Of course theres a chance. Ive had that happen before. Its not a regular occurrence though. And yea it usually starts about an hour before launch.

 

I'm thinking since they confirmed the launch time is simultaneous that its got a good possibility, but we wont know for sure til then. Its only happened for me twice out of about 20 pre-loads.

GTA V is a big game though, the chance is much higher, maybe Rockstar was smart about it.

Because some or alot of devs joined them so if you check the snapmatic you might find some PC snapmatic pics.

Yes, the Steam version unlocks by itself, but sometimes unlocking will start earlier than launch. I've had preload games start decryption within an hour of launch so its ready to go right at launch time.

 

Its impossible to know if this will happen here. I wouldnt count on it, but it wouldnt be the first.

It might well happen that the decrypt starts a little before the launch as you would still have to add the final executable for the game to work. That will not happen until the midnight launch.

 

The encryption and missing files are to stop the game being cracked and they have done a good job of it too.
