It might, but I guess with this gamesize it is highly unefficient.

In addition R* stated in one of the previews from IGN or PCGamer, don't know which one, that it is anxious to see what a PC community can do with the game (kinda hinted modding possibility) but that would be much harder if people were to decrypt these files at first. But maybe it is some kind of archive which contains "folders" like it was in IV. But still in IV the file structure was very well aranged so I don't see why would R* change it.

The day one patch is 58 MB, I believe. I thought the 5 GB was for retail versions only?

They still could be, as apparently the file "headers" are inverted according to some people. But Rockstar could've divided their files in a load of chunks this time, and yes, RPF's have been a thing since Table Tennis (First RAGE game).

I just don't care lol. You're clearly doing alright wherever you're living if you have a PC and are about to play GTAV.

Only answer anyone can give you is a guess. That's above recommended GPU and very slightly below recommended CPU. You should be able to push 1080 and close to 60fps (if not at) at high if Rockstar's statements earlier this week are true.

 

As to what exact settings, no one can answer til its benchmarked.

 

There are so many graphical settings in this game that its impossible to tell you exactly. Something on/something off may boost something else. These questions are best saved until after release. When the game is out, there will benchmark videos on Youtube within an hour. Within a day there will probably be a tweak guide. Any guess right now could be off.
