Well I hope we're getting something because it's either today or monday. Then the game is out.

 

So we still have 1 and a half hour, we can get news either 4PM or 5PM (my time now is 15:40)

Indeed. I mean I don't think that everyone would just tell complete lies when they've seen it. And I'm not talking about IGN or PCGamer if they would indeed want to do that. There's those smaller websites who claim the same thing.

 

We've seen that the game has sh*t tons of options to fiddle with, that it was developed by Torronto and North (best combination possible for pc), this all indicates it's gonna be optimized perfectly. Max Payne 3 was, and this seems even better

Was hoping for HairWorks & HBAO+,uh guess it doesn't really matter,the list got updated:

The only concern I have is if the game will support Dual-Cores. I meet the minimum requirements, except the processor. I've got a G3220, but I'm quite confident about it, considering the guy ran most new open-world games quite well (Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor and Ground Zeroes).

True for people having played it on R* rig.

 

But nobody tested it with the recommended rig.

Only R* told journalists that this rig corresponds to 1080p 60FPS.

I am not even sure that they actually added "with all sliders to HIGH" at the end of their sentence.

 

Anyway I am confident regarding my rig, I just want to warn people having just the required one, that this statement should be taken with a pinch of salt...

 

Like you said, we'll see in 4 days.

But I would be highly surprised about such a level of optimization.

I mean it would be the complete opposite of what Ubisoft did with Watch Dogs, and such gap would be insane and finally just not understandable at all

Would choose HairWorks over HBAO+,because the fur will look kinda weird without HairWorks,if you've noticed that on the CG, it's not that big of a deal,the game looks amazing in every aspect but adding those two would have been even better.

Well they did also say that an average machine can do 1080p just fine too, they seem really confident, and even though it was on R*'s rig, it's a feat to get 4K 60 FPS stable like they said they did. I seriously believe we'll be getting a masterpiece this time, finally.

Nah. They usually modify the Top story tag after a new article is out, not before. So it's not really an indicator.

I wonder if this will have DS4 support. Far Cry 4 and AC:Unity did so I hope Rockstar will follow suit.

The way they worded it doesn't guarantee a trailer, could just be talking about the previews. But those barely gave us anything to "look" at in terms of the editor. All we got was IGN/Gamespot/PC Gamer employees describing what they got to "look" at.

Who cares how many days before a different version had it? Even if it came out now we still are days away from experiencing it ourselves. I don't expect anything of substance directly from R* until Monday. And besides, its barely 10:30am EST right now, its possible there are still posts made today.

 

I get we're all impatient for the game at this point, but trailers and demonstration videos just don't matter anymore. The only news left that matters to me is confirmation by R* of the unlock time.

I think if have a chance for that, I think it has to happen today. I cannot see an article like this coming on Saturday/Sunday or Monday missing only one day to launch. Not to mention the launch trailer that I think it was already supposed to be out.
