Obviously there's many of us that are going to want to play the game as soon as we can. For me, I want to know exact time so I can decide whether or not to take a day off on Tuesday. I havent decided one way or another. If it comes at midnight or earlier (if the Rockstar timer is to believe Id have it earlier than midnight) then it will easier to make that decision. I also think its important to hold companies accountable in terms of providing correct information. We all know this game is getting a midnight release in some fashion.

 

What I do think matters is how people react when they dont get their way. If we dont get the exact answer, my opinion is oh well. If it ends up being we have to wait until 12am PST for it to unlock for everyone, oh well. I'll enjoy watching the firestorm of people going insane about it lol. At the same time, I'd like to know for my own benefit. I don't see how that desire to know affects someone who doesn't care either way.

 

I guarantee some of you that "don't care" will care if it doesnt hit by a certain time.

Well i can wait for 2-3 days until the physical version comes home..i always prefer DVD version because i love collecting stuff..plus i want to wait for the benchmarks too so for me waiting is cool for me for somedays

This is for anyone who has the Rockstar social club Digital version that lives in the Mid western states. IE Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee.. ETC in EDT/ET time zones. What does the countdown timer for you say? At the time of this post it is 1:42PM

 

 

Anyone who lives in the yellow zones tell me what your countdown timer says on the RockStar social club.

7 AM on Spain, I'll be getting up couse I've got highschool at 8 so I'll play GTA V for the first time at 16:00 or so. (A las 8 hora inglesa lo sacan, es una hora menos en españa)

Offtopic: the place where I study is hell, we go there at 8 but we leave at 15 without having eaten, I wont be ready until 16:00 but It will be worthit

You're screwed. You need double the space, espc with Steam preloads. They're just like rar files.

 

Your HDD is pretty small as it is, but if you can find another 65 GB you should free it up. Otherwise your only choice is to delete the preload and download on release, b/c whats going to happen is when its time to decrypt is you'll get a disk error.

It is actually the second partition, I have another one with the system in it. I quite messed up the partitioning.

It is a 500GB HDD nonetheless which is small with today standards (and to me) and is actually more than 5 YEARS OLD.

I'm low on cash so I can't get a new one, so I'm just praying it won't break anytime soon (and to be honest, I'm not taking care a lot of it).

Morning is fine to me, however plenty of releases have unlocked as late at 7 PM on Steam (or a whole day + taxes late for Australians). Knowing beforehand is the key, some people might want to take a day off work or what not. Personally I'm planning to go home a couple of hours earlier than usual, but it would be helpful to tell my boss beforehand if that's gonna be Tuesday or Wednesday.
