EDIT: One problem I have before even installing anything is that you've included so many useless files in the "main files" folder. Hard to figure out what's actually necessary and what's just clutter (xlive, etc).

I did leave a few extra "types" of certain files in there. From top to bottom, not immediately necessary to the graphics in the set are:

icespritelight_ORIGINAL.bmp

ScriptHook.dll

ScriptHookDotNet.asi

xlive.dll

 

The icelunebump.png / .tga files: wasn't sure which one is actually active; left in for good measure.

 

The other files, like SweetFX_preset.txt are used by Schakusa's SweetFX AF solution. The set would look nasty and jaggy if it weren't for that AF / FXAA method. smile.gif

 

There are some "extra" files in the directories as well. Like the lamppost.ide file, which changes the hues some street lights to a lighter, whiter street lamp. Textures for the water, these were all put in as the set was configured with these areas to look that way. Of course, keeping a 1.0 Directory of IV around you can cross reference quickly and restore the files you need with ease. That's what I do.

 

INFO: BuildLog.htm has been detected by Microsoft Security Essentials as a Ramnit variant (information inside). I don't see that coding and I've scanned the archive with Avast, ESET NOD32, MalwareBytes and MacAfee but found no infections. IF in question, delete the BuildLog.htm from the Shaders folder and replace with your own. Still looking into it.

That's odd. I am not sure quite what you mean good sir. Is it crashing? I did include the scripthook etc. in the archieve. You can take out all the files you don't need (which I included for those who don't know how to get it working) like scripthook, xlive.dll, paul.dll (definitely this one), etc. Like in my previous post of files not necessary for the graphics portion of the package:

Please be sure to check all files in the package, as some folks do use the same files, but some don't.

 

Note: Please note that the timecyc is completely unlocked. It IS that way for everyone to be able to load it into TimecycIV and look at it. To be able to play with the settings to get people on the road to making their own looks / settings. No credit is due, but it would be nice to hear and see where it's being used...

Just tried it Packet and I was amazed, great job. I have my work cut out if I can match that set. biggrin.gif

 

The DoF was a little over-powering for my own tastes, but was easy to disable and didn't detract from the mod.

 

I did notice a slightly too powerful sun at 7pm Extra Sunny 1 & 2, but if that was what you were aiming at then I'm fine with that.

I also thought the distance fogging in the sunny weathers was a little too bright and close, but this is your mod not mine and I respect that.

I also had to wait until the approval on gtamods, because on GTAMad you need 5 posts to see the downloads, so I need to spam 5 posts see them ......... just kidding schak.... I read the rules wink.gif

biggrin.gif You make me a happy guy! I've ALWAYS been astonished by your mods and even try to replicate as much as I can the work you had always shown.

 

I took note of your observations and thanks for putting them down. There are many facets of the overall set I'm not totally happy with, which I'll be working towards changing but on the whole, I thought was "good enough" for now. The overbrightness of bloom at differing times was always what drove me mental: I had to experiment to see what caused that...still working at it for different times. colgate.gif

 

Also, the wait at 4-mods may have saved you some hassle: there was a warning about a code injection virus in the BuildLog.htm file in the shaders folder, it's since been swapped with a shaders folder that does not include that file, at 4-mods. (Thanks to Rappo's pronto and devoted work).

Mental To Do:

 

Additions for the "Final" version of: All UR iCEnHanCER R Belong 2 Us 2013

 

-Extra Sunny Night Sky Colors: Same gray and slightly bluer than Sunny's

-Balancing contrast and shine in shadowed areas.

-Increasing Contrast and Saturation around noon in Sunny

-Trying to remove excessive bloom during Rainy/Drizzle/Lightning Day Times

-Trying to solve distance fog issues when bloom colors distance fog.

-Daytime distance fog adjust (as noted by DKT70).

-Resolve: "Distance fogging in the sunny weathers was a little too bright and close"

-Change: "Too powerful sun at sunset in Extra Sunny 1 & 2"

-Add optional disabled DOF iceshader.fx with the same settings as DOF enabled.

-Seperate Graphic files from modding files and create a "Get Modding Working" Folder in the main file structure.

-Add cooler / bluer setting for Rainy and Drizzle for day times.

-New Graphic Title for Final Release (More Dat Ass + Cowbell).

 

 

Other improvements:

-Investigate performance drop of new timecyc + current iceshader.fx vs. old timecyc + previous iceshader.fx - and remedy where possible.

-To be announced (there are a few I just can't remember them now).

That's very perplexing. Shaders issue? Did you use the shaders I included or stock? ...Try vice versa. The files are for 1040 (of course). Next package I put out will have all the different files seperated i.e: scripthook etc.

Not that I get paquets, but I can not start the game, it stays frozen in the loading screen, I copied the files needed as long as it does not work, also happens to me with another version of ice that is in gta4mods, not let me start the game, however with any sett I have no problems, any ideas? I have really wanted to try their sett

1004 "should" be good. I'm running 1040.

 

I would try the shaders folder. Ensure you delete preload.list and BuildLog.htm files before you copy the shaders folder if those two files are in your ALIRB2U 2013 Package. smile.gif
