I started downloading the update around 6am, the 5 GB was done by 6:30, then it had to dowload an additional 900mb and that took 6 hours... how? I went outside and came back at 12:30 and it was still saying 2 hours, had to pause/unpause to get a boost for a bit so it completed...

 

Anyway, since we're in the B&M thread... Can someone find the guy designing the interiors since Gunrunning? Because I want to punch him in the face a couple of times. Why is everything a god damn useless maze? Bunch of corridors, pointless rooms and doors that makes you go round and round and round.

Whilst there are nice things about this update (the nightclubs, extra customisation for old cars and a few of the new vehicles) there's just so much missed opportunity in this update. The fact that there's more military stuff is crazy when everyone thought it would be an update where we finally get new luxury vehicles and brand new clothing.

 

Instead of more low res jackets we could have had dresses, new haircuts, a few new tattoos, body paint etc. The party shirts just aren't enough I mean they could have just put these patterns on a new Hawaiian shirt but instead it's another reskin.

While I'm happy R* still support the game and more content is always welcome. What the hell is this sh*t....There is nothing new to do, almost no new cars (everything is drip), no clothing, what were R* thinking? In my opinion this is almost as bad as Beach Bum Update.

When GTAV was first announced, marketing really played up the VARIETY, how alive and interactive this world was going to be.

I guess for me, the biggest problem I have is my age.  I think that's why this game is a disappointment.  I guess it's not so much the game.  It's just I'm not right for online.

I'm 47.  I wear bifocals and have arthritis.  I have a life.  I work 60-70 hours a week.  I'm not going to "git gud" any time soon because I just don't have time.  I have literally NO friends or even acquaintances in real life who play this game.  And so a lot of the activities that would be profitable and probably fun just end up being me defending myself against random pvp.

What I really wish, and have wished since the beginning, was just to be able to steal ANY car I wanted and make a profit based on the value of the car.

Even when import/export came out, I was disappointed by the fact that I can't run cars without a giant spotlight notifying the entire map and encouraging people to blow up my car to prevent me actually accomplishing anything.  I mean, having people who've already memorized the drop-off points watch the streets, then hover over the drop-point in a helicopter and rocket-attack me as I arrive takes the fun out of it.

I've played adversarial modes and enjoyed it, but spotlighting you on the map and encouraging the entire session to go after you just ... it breaks the immersion and takes the fun out of it for me.

I've only tried heists a couple of times because I see so many people in the forums and steam community complaining about noobs who don't know what they're doing ... and I know I'm a noob who doesn't know what he's doing, so I'm hesitant to join.  I'm the ran-dumb people complain about in the b-and-m thread, lol.

Even this new after hours:  from what I've been reading, they're not actually adding any social interaction, night life, or entertainment.  It sounds like just another warehouse with a different kind of "running" operation.

So I'm kinda disappointed that the game, for me, hasn't really lived up to how I thought it was going to be when I saw those first awesome teasers and trailers.  It's a shame because GTAV really is awesome, and there's a lot that GTAO could be ... but for me, it just isn't there.

Constantly sending me out into a perpetual warzone to do ridiculously convoluted deliveries in slow vulnerable vehicles that announce their value to the world is absolutely fine... but watch those steps as they could do some harm

This update is beyond underwhelming. More glorified fetch quests, military-style meme vehicles, drip feed DJ's (lmao)  and no other clubs like Bahama Mamas or Tequi-la-la enterable. I have a hard time believing this was two updates condensed into one.

I ran multiple Headhunter missions today with the Akula that was purchased on sale yesterday and it locked on to the targets with no problems. I'm on PS4.

 

As far as the update is concerned...well, I'm looking forward to the A-10. I gotta buy a club before the night is over. Gotta stop the phone calls and texts.

I spend $1.4 million on it and the music stops when I get out of the bus. Dafuq?

It makes me wonder how my generation will be once they reach their golden years. Were very tech savvy people. I wonder if we'll live longer as a result of being so intrepid.

 

Imagine being like... 75 years old and still typing away on a forum, or playing video games coherently...it boggles my mind, honestly. Makes me curious about our futures.

 

But anyway...I wish  I could refund the 6 million dollars I sunk into this club. Even though I haven't put much time into the dlc as of today, I'm a solo player by trade with PVE as my bread and butter, none of this freeroam business crap helps in the long run when most players aren't keen on helping you, nor is the trust established to allow randoms to handle your goods...

 

This sh*t reminds me of flight school..I got so hyped by that trailer, only to be delivered garbage. It confuses me how one gets a nightclub update...and gets a Warthog and a speeder bike over normal cars....

 

Does anyone know if there are hidden dripfeed CARS   somewhere? How long does this update 'last'?

The music stopping when getting out has to be a bug, played with my friend earlier and his party bus kept turning on and off the whole time

On another note, you can't dance near it or even on top of it which makes the entire thing pointless. Another thing about it is that the music sounds considerably worse than the Lowrider stereos

Maybe as part of the dripfeeding they'll be adding better maintenance guys who don't mess up their equipment setups.

Nope, can't lock on to squat.

Headhunter targets, cops, nothing.

Non-homing homing missiles, and from other accounts no-stealth stealth capabilities.

At least you still get back to 2 wanted stars by cycling off the missiles.

It's an opportunity to practice free aim missiles.

It's not so bad going after the stationary HH targets, but the cars....wait for them at a stoplight or when they slow down and blast 'em a couple of times, but then you're wobbling badly off aim.

By the time you get back on target, the perps are out of the vehicle and scattering.

Try to gun down the main guy and the others are peppering you with their laser aim through your (lightly) armored windows.

Got killed twice in the same mission buy these asses.

It's just too wobbly for hitting running peds.

Had to finish with the Buzzard.

It worked fine.

 

In then end I had to spend over $300,000 upgrading my newly purchased Hunter to use as a sub for trusty old A.

 

HOW can they frack up something so badly when it needed no changes!!!!?????!!!!!

That is by design to stop you making promotion runs quickly, there SOmuch stalling coded into this game I now literally hate the game. It's gone from one of the best game ever to a sad joke of quivering sh*t

Its the same bug as the audio cutting out on the lowriders randomly. Its as old as the faction being glitched. Almost 3 years ago.

To be honest when i saw tony at the beginning i was like f*ck this, why GTA IV? What so special about that piece of sh*t, the fender shake driving mechanism? The sh*tty laggy combat mechanism? 

 

Plus why can't we see a VC or SA throwback? Wu zi can manage the club better than this piece of sh*t anyway, hell maybe ken from Vc will be a better MC than lazlow, hell cesar could return as a lowrider contact but nah it's lamar with his eggs, MUTHAf*ckIN' EGGS
