The AI traffic absolutely acts differently during sell missions. It's incredibly annoying.

I swear R* is having a laugh at me. The matchmaking for heists have become absolutely ridiculous! The level of noobiness is at an extreme in all of the heists as of late. I just did the Fleeca job and the driver failed. The driver! Unbelievable. How can anyone be that bad?!

Heists with randumbs is awful. It's mostly low level noobs, and it seems as if the level 100s+ just troll.

last night i did a random heist (with randoms), it was the coke heist that you get from a yacht, and we had one random that kept getting killed;

we restarted about 3 time and everytime while we're collecting coke and killing enemies the same random gets killed after the 3rd try he left.

There seems to be a bug with setting your spawn location to Hangar, Bunker, Facility, and another one I think. It will keep you in the clouds forever just because of that spawn. I recommend your office, apartment/garage, or last location.

I was really, really frustrated when I wrote that an hour ago, but now I can totally see the funny aspects in it. That will be one of my most terrible as well as amusing GTA memories for sure.

I know how frustrating randumbs can be in this freaking game, I don't do anything with randoms except one thing and one thing only, Funeral Party, I just love that mission and none of my friends play those missions anymore so I do it with randoms, two days ago I did it with 3 randoms and this guy kept failing it in the same spot 4 times before I just left the mission, he would start shooting the convoy.

It's absolutely ridiculous!

 

Not sure but the way I read that line and imagined someone failing as the driver just made me completely lose it and burst out laughing.

GTA Online After Hours Rant

 

Not to flame anyone but I really need to get this off my chest. From briefly lurking through this sub-forum with this update's hype, I'm starting to get annoyed with some of these pretentious users that be like "Oh I've never heard of these artists so this update's gonna suck! I'll wait 10 years later for another GTA Online update or just turn the music off" Especially those that claim that these DJs are nobodies. They're pretty big. but not big that's catered to the American mainstream spectrum of things. If you're in tune with the electronic or "EDM" scene as of late, they're existent if you or any of your friends are involved with the Burning Man-esque rave scene or have some form appreciation of such subculture with the music. Some of my friends in real life like Solomun, from underground party goers in southern California to professional poker player travelers from England. I wouldn't be surprised if these same people that have been talking sh*t, after this update's release, start liking it and spamming every song in the game with "OMG LIEK MY COMMENT IF G.T. A. FIVE. ONLINE. BROUGHT U HERE IN THIS GRAND. THEFT. AUTO. FIVE. ONLINE. MUSIC IN-GAME IN THIS G. T. A. FIVE. ONLINE UPDATE!!!!!1111" on YouTube.

 

I believe Rockstar did a splendid job depicting how the nightclub and purist rave / party scene is like in southern California today. Wish they released this in 2013 instead of 2018 because 2011 - 2015 was my peak for that culture but enough about me. If you were to put some Russian techno or some Rock n Roll McDonalds sh*t in a Los Angeles nightclub, expect someone to chuck a beer can to your face and leave a gash open.

 

tl;dr These artists are heard if you dig deep enough and I'm predicting a hindsight effect among the people talking negative about this update prior to its release, saving face by saying how cool it is afterwards. Discuss or fite me if you like.

 

What I'm looking forward to this update besides the music are the additional garage spaces to leave my Japanese and Luxury cars.

you shouldn't bother with what tasteless traptards think, I am big on the dance music scene so this is f*cking amazing music wise. Stop caring about what nobodies say. And yeah the garages, the music and the cars are what I look forward too

I'm indifferent with picking and persuading sheep's opinion one by one, I'd rather voice my two cents a little so that can slightly help prevent this particular breed of dance music to be depicted in a negative paradigm with newcomers. Better than to act passive by letting it slide. You do bring up a good point; I've given up on humans that rely on the mainstream world so I guess our little world is better off underrated.

I seriously hate the gangsters in I/E source/sell missions. I swear these f*ckers are stronger than doomsday clones. They routinely take off half of my health in one shot, from halfway down the street, with no cover anywhere, before I even have a chance to get near them. And even the kuruma didn't work - they STILL took off the remaining half of my health, IN ONE SHOT, THROUGH THE ARMORED WINDOWS. l have never had any other npc's shoot me out of my kuruma before, but these bastards managed it. And it only ever seems to be the gangsters, none of the other npc thugs are as vicious as they are. And of course my options to fight back are limited, otherwise I might damage the car. I'm almost considering fitting a helicopter with gas bombs to take care of these pricks, I'm that sick of them.

Try fitting a helicopter with a hook instead. Alternatively, in sell missions park somewhere safe and fight them from cover. I have safe places for both my warehouses at exactly the point the blue Sultans trigger.

Laser aim and AP bullets must be what they're using.

I get hit twice and all my armor's gone and I'm down to about 3/4 health.

Oh, I can take care of the sultan assholes fine, I just bring out the Khanjali. Boom, gone. I'm talking about when you have to tail a gangster to a house and then steal it. There's always like a dozen waiting there, and they always overpower me.

Hide in cover, eat a quarter of your snacks, take one or two shots, repeat.

edit: you can try to snipe them, but it's hard to get a good view from further away, you'll always miss at least 2.

Yeah but once you've taken them out, the helicopter just follows you around impotently, whilst preventing any new ones from spawning, so it's worth stopping and fighting.

Yeah, on the Marshall sell jobs with the Buzzards as well, take out the shooters and let them follow you around.

I taunt them with the air horn when they get close, they usually say some funny stuff  .

GTAV is an awesome game, and GTAO was great ... when it started.  But, for example, today, I joined for the first time in a LONG time, maybe 3-4 months even.  I'd been in a session five minutes, hadn't even made it to my warehouse when I got blown up for no reason.

Before I stopped playing last time, I bought a gunrunning bunker ... and I just found out that the whole thing is really designed to be played with another person.  I did the job solo with plenty of time to spare (I didn't realize at first I had to kill the bad guys before the next drop location would appear, and lost a bit of time before I figured it out).  Still, though, it's not really designed for solo play.  I guess, I mean, it is gta ONLINE, right?

But I'm kind of at the point now where I'd just like to sell everything:  the i/e biz, the office, the house, the yacht, the bunker.  Just sell it all and roam the streets.  Sleep on the beach.  No grinding for money.  Just hire out to other people looking for help.
