First sale of the session, single Western Bagger coke run into the back of a truck....easy peasy, right?

I saw how some others dismounted as the bike goes into the back of the truck and they land on top, so thought I'd try it.

 

Well, "don't try this at home, kids".

I looped around across the street to get a decent run on it, headed into the back of the truck, hit the ramp, jumped off....I landed outside the truck next to the cab, the bike got stuck, clipping into the side of the truck box.

I tried to get back on but it's not being recognized as being a mountable vehicle.

Hmmm, well I'll just go jack a car off the street and give the bike a nudge into the truck.

 

Just as I reach the back of a car, not more than 50 feet from the truck I get: "Mission Failed: you lost the product".  

$168,000 down the drain.
 

 

Today's lesson: you get a simple mission, just get it done and move on. Don't try and get cute.

My own fault, tempting fate, glitchy design, whatever, should have just driven in like any other time.

Lost a car in a sourcing mission with those bodyguards while on the train track and the train hit into me and the car glitches out. Causes it to blow up and I waste a top range car.

My complaint for right now. 

It's 6:00 AM CDST here and the GTA Online servers for XBox 360 players have been down for three hours. 

I've just spent the past hour waiting for a Support chat session with a person who is clueless about how things work.

The Rockstar server status page shows XBox 360 servers status as "Limited". And the XBox Live server status page shows no issues at all.

So the chat person is blaming the problem on Microsoft and XBox Live. I explained to him that I work in IT and he needs to know the difference between a Rockstar owned server and a Microsoft owned server. Don't ever blame the other guy when it's obviously your fault. Dumb outsourced lackey.

Just lost the $300,000 log-in bonus on my J-Scott-D account because I lost internet connection twice. I lost connection halfway through the 2 Headhunters I tried to do. Bummer. I should have forced a save when I stepped out into freemode.

 

While I'm in the B&M, I might as well gripe about the phone calls and how inconsistent they are between my accounts. Both J-Scott-D characters got hassled by their assistants to purchase vehicle warehouses, My Lezly-D character/account never did.

 

Lezly-D got hassled by Malcom to purchase a business after the Clubhouse purchase, my J-Scott-D characters never got those calls. I can't figure it out.

 

Another member here mentioned still getting the phone calls to purchase something that he/she already purchased. Hoping that doesn't happen to me once l finish buying the things needed to stop the calls.

fired up GTAO on a whim; first time in months I've done more than go straight to Creator just to check out any new vehicles.  more of an observation than a full on Bitch and Moan; but what on Earth is this?  got invited to an MC, joined and they started a Hold The Ground or whatever, got my Armoured Boxville and parked in the middle of the area.  get some contact but not exactly overwhelming; five minutes from the end the MC leader leaves so game over.  Get invited to an Org so give that a go and there's some dude mad-dogging a level 8 in our Org.  I've still got my Boxville so I troll him a little when he comes off his sports bike, bit further up the road he draws down so I kill him, he gives chase once he respawns and I find a high point, mount up the M2 on the Boxville and blast him from afar, 20k down after knocking out his bike too.  He gives up and I drive off, five minutes later I quit.

 

I guess my complaint is that although there's so much content; it doesn't feel like I'm aiming for much, just random killing.  Not dicking out anyone who enjoys it; different strokes for all kindsa folks and all that...I can just see why I stopped playing GTAO.  Hopefully the Nightclubs update will bring something new to the table.

Killing for the sake of killing is catered for in so many games already - GTAO could (and should) aim to deliver a little more on top of a basic PvP experience. 

 

Then again this series was always king of the fetch quests, so maybe I'm expecting too much

The sh*tty vehicle spawning system had once again proved just how sh*tty it is. I got the Marquis crate collection mission near LSIA so I whip out my Avenger and fly it to the runway to prepare it for storing crates. Then I go to the CEO vehicle menu to spawn a Buzzard just to find out that it’s “unavailable”. Frustrated I call in my Sea Sparrow AND IT SPAWNS OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT ALL THE WAY AT THE DAMN DOCKS! I quickly hopped into my Avenger and the moment I was outside the airport I was able to call in my Buzzard. What the f*ck?

I’ve spawned in my personal aircraft at the LSIA multiple times before...not this time though. It’s dumb how you can’t always spawn personal aircraft at an airport. On the other hand I should have thought about giving Pegasus a call. I completely forgot about them

My worst one was calling for a Buzzard from the CEO menu after finishing a bunker stock sell mission while I'm in the docks are.

The Buzzard spawns up on the f()#%in freeway!

How the hell am I supposed to get to that (without another Buzzard)?

 

I've had it appear on the other side of a chainlink fence topped with barbed wire two roads away where I had to run about 1/4 mile down the street to go around the fence.

I do 'em, they're tedious and I usually die at least once during the final battle or if the gang idjits get right up on me.

Yes, I just checked. I parked my CEO Buzzard in front of the Devin Weston Hangar and called my Hangar Buzzard from my LSIA Hangar and it put it inside the airport about 125 yards from me.

When are these Issi-only races going to be dropped from the Rockstar stunt races job menu? They’re as dull as f*cking ditchwater. I’ve just had a go at Sidewinder and City Jumper on non-contact, and the drone of the car and tedium of just driving in a straight line across those huge circuits made me think to myself “What the hell am I doing here?”

 

They’re terrible.

Haven't been able to go on call racing since they came. Every time I look, an Issi race comes up. I can't wait for the regular stunt races to get a 2x, then hopefully all will be well again, sort of., lol.

A system wide message goes out.

Player B sees it and says, what the hell I'm not doing anything but waiting on a friend to log in and there goes a shipment right there. BOOM

Player A says "Why did you do that"?

Player B thinks What the hell is he talking about, it's part of the game. Why wouldn't I do it? - I'll just ignore him.

Player A continues.. "Dude, what the hell, I was just minding my own business... Why did you do that"?

Player B thinks  - Doesn't he know it's part of the game?

Player B responds with "The game told me too"

 

okay do you really think player B is just doing what he is told?

No he is just playing the game as it was designed and had no idea why you are so mad....

When he says "the game told me to", it is just a short version of:

 

They are confused about why you are upset and then they are pointing out that it is part of the game. After-All there is a message that alerts me to you running a shipment and let's me know that it is okay to blow it up, and in fact I will even be rewarded....

I agree with you, it's a mere suggestion/invite if one chooses.

 

That said, if another's reasoning is 'The game told me too' I'd say it's them that misinterpreted things too. The player should respond with 'The game invited me to' Then there's nothing to dispute.

 

In your scenario, Player B literally just says indeed that the game told them too, lol.
