To me it just doesn't make sense to do it.  Aggro isn't profitable, it just wastes everyone's time.  I think most of the people who do it on PC are modders who have no real interest in playing the game properly and are simply there to annoy people.

The rewards for any freemode events are pathetic though.  I won a game of King Of The Castle lasting 10 minutes and won just over £10k.  Pretty much any mission/sale/whatever pays more than that.  If I was doing a heist finale and someone who blew up my shipment turned up in the lobby, I would kick them.

I was talking about the CEO one, not the bunker one. I simply put a few explosive sniper shots into the one from the bunker mission. Whilst going after 3 parachtuting merryweather c*nts is what made me write the post. Made a slight edit to clarify my rant a bit more

Really? I thought you were talking about the sale mission. I don't find the Valkyrie crate one offensive at all. You know it's going to be a fake drop zone when your assistant totally fails to say "It's being flown in.". I like to chop their parachutes with my Buzzard so they fall to earth and die, although sometimes they'll f*ck themselves up:

or being told you need to be in a ceo org when you try to use securoserve when you're already in ceo mode.

I fully understand why people do it. I’ve been kicked myself more times than I can count, and yes, it’s sometimes been completely unprovoked. So what? I still understand why they do it. Blame R*’s design choices, not the people in-game trying to make money so they can continue to enjoy playing the game.

They don’t know you, how can they know you’re a super cuddly little bear? Anyone that I don’t know in GTAO is a potential threat. It’s always been like that, albeit not always with the same financial loss aspect to it.

Given that you can't "improve your behaviour" in a purely co-op game mode where you are the playing as the most effective participant, you can't tell me that this feature isn't being thoroughly abused. Bad sport points and dumped from the game, and for what? Simply playing it?

 

This single feature is making me give up on GTAO, because the higher my rank gets, the more that entitled and paranoid noobs abuse it against me. f*cking rubbish.

Yes. And if you're unsure, send out a message to the guys in session "Hey guys, I'm a lone wolf who's just trying to make a buck, no aggro" or whatever. Some people would probably still vote to kick. I don't think I would. If a player says they're friendly, and they don't use Ghost ORG or OTR but just minding their own business, I'd want them to stick around.

But if I'm in a good session with only friends and some Johnny Rando is barging in, my immediate thought is "Trouble".

Your custom weapon loadout is thrown out the window when you play contact missions. For example, I have my firework launcher disabled in my loadout, and it never shows up in free roam. The moment I get into a mission, it comes back, and I cannot get rid of it. What's the point if it only applies to free roam?

 

Who the f*ck even approved of this decision? They're trolling us. They must be. I wanna strangle the f*ckers over there at Cockstar.

The Oppressor with Missiles is the single most game breaking item in the game.

Yes, other stuff does certain excellently but the Oppressor does everything well. I can take down Hunters with it, just boost straight up and rain Missiles down on them before they can orientate themselves.
