Minor issue, and it's probably something I could fix by plugging my 360 back in and going into my Snapmatic gallery, but still...

 

After the recent maintenance (or maybe even earlier, I dunno), a bunch of older Snapmatic urls don't work anymore - I suspect they're still in my console gallery, but Social Club says I have no last-gen Snaps (although my current-gen ones work just fine).

 

Might be they're clearing out old things to make room for RDR2 or something, but it's still a bit of a pain - fortunately, I had the foresight to back up everything on my computer (last-gen and current-gen Snapmatic, screenshots, etc.), so even if R* have wiped my gallery completely, I've still got the pics somewhere.

People on the PC platform are morons. Ran into a script menu user (refuse to call them modders because all they did was paid a little money to one of those stupid ass sites for a menu) twice today. First time he teleported into the impound as I was helping my girlfriend get her Deluxo back and shot me out of mine. Darklord something or other. I know he teleported because there was no one in our vicinity for at least a mile. Anyway. I call him out on his sh*t on chat, and he retaliates by making that mission/setup complete sound and screen effect ping over and over til I get forced into an infinite loading screen. I managed to get out of this using resource manager and dropping into single player. I rejoin gta online and launch a heist setup and complete it. I get dropped into another session and who's there stirring up sh*t like the scumbag he is? Darklord. I didn't know it was him at first but everyone was getting blown up by spawned blimps nonstop, using an innocent player's name. Once I saw his name and went passive to avoid being damaged by the blimp explosions, I called him out on it again. This time he acts innocent and says "oh, it can't be me, the other guy's name was on it." Meanwhile he freezes me in place and does the screen effect thing again (which doesn't work to kick me off.), and starts blowing people up with my name, proclaiming me to be the script user (used the other word, but I'm not giving any of those menu using scumbags the validation of using it). My rant is mainly directed at the idiots on the pc version of this game who 1) don't kick these people immediately when they're called out with proof, and 2) believe their protests that they're innocent because "so and so was doing it, their name is on the feed" and starting to believe that I was the menu user because he switched to using my name. Wake the f*ck up people. Did you not just see the exact same thing happen like 2 minutes ago? Jesus. I know this community is awful enough just playing legitimately, but the ones that go outside the rules? Scum of the Earth, god awful players who need to have their computer smashed over their heads.

Just go select Crooked Cop, it's what I do and it usually finds me a lobby going on. If not, I simply host it and within a minute or two I got a game going.

Step 1: Well they were fun, lemme join a random heist.

Step 2: Wait for the team to fail over and over again.

Step 3: Someone quits, wasted another 30mins.

Step 4: Now im stuck in the clouds.

Step 5: Rebooting GTA.

Step 6: Repeat.

Literally this. But the last time I hit the clouds I straight up turned off the PS4 entirely. We're done here. 

 

Makes you remember why freeroam businesses became a thing haha.

- Why the Explosive Rounds on my Heavy Sniper Mk II has reduced ammount of shots per magazine yet the Explosive Slugs on my Pump Shotgun Mk II doesn't have such drawback?

- Why Tracer Rounds are so useless?

- Why Incendiary Rounds aren't 100% guaranteed to set the target on fire with all weapons?

- Why not Mk II rifle has Drum Magazines available?

- What's the point of having various scopes available if all of them have the same ammount of zoom anyway?

I got to try a solo bunker sale with another in the lobby last night.

 

First attempt I got 2 Marshalls (10 drops).

Not happening.

 

Second try, 2 Marshalls...again.

When I try to switch sessions my PC actually powers down....WTF?

 

Third try, 1 Insurgent vs Merryweather, the other occupant in the session was a lvl 59 with a worse k/d than mine, so I figured it's worth a try.

After chasing the Merryweathers around (retarded AI pathfinding!) for about 5 minutes or more, I finished and didn't get kicked until well after the sale.

 

That's the first time I've actually made it through the sale before being kicked, it usually happens about 2/3 the way through.

1% bonus, woohoo!

Why I keep getting kicked I have no idea, I went well out of my way to avoid him when I was heading to my drops.

Complete Fleeca Job Kuruma setup and spawn in freemode with a wanted level and surrounded by cops

So I joined a few random heist setups today. 

 

The first one was Humane Labs Key Codes. One of the players on this job was a rank 16. I'm assigned to the vantage point at the back of the lot and rank 16 guy is at the vantage point on the side of the lot. We get to the parking lot easy enough on the first attempt, but then two of the guys get shot to death by FIB. The same thing happens on the second attempt and the third attempt. On the fourth attempt, I RPG the cars on the street while the other guys shoot, and we get to the point where we can collect the case and go quickly. We then steal 2 Zions and leave. 

 

The next one was Humane Labs Insurgents. Same group of people, including rank 16 guy. On attempt #1, two guys are killed by the guys conducting the exercise on the Insurgents. On attempt #2, I get the gun seat in the Insurgent Pickup and down both helicopters, but then I notice that we're in the middle of Sandy Shores and remember that we've been driving all over the place and not following the route. Lo and behold, rank 16 guy is f*cking driving. He then jumps off the dead end street closest to East Joshua Road and crosses the little pond there, but crashes and is shot to death by Merryweather. I then quit. 

 

The next one was Prison Break Wet Work, and I was on the team that has to kill Popov. I start off by taking it slowly with a suppressed sniper from the little lot where the yellow marker is. My partner, however, insists on doing the loud/direct approach and I end up having to run over Popov as he's trying to climb the mountain on the other side of the road. It went smooth enough I guess. Only took 1 attempt. 

 

The last job I did was Series A Bikers. On the first four attempts, somebody uses an unsuppressed weapon and alerts the bikers. On the fifth attempt, we kill all except two bikers with suppressed weapons, and then, for whatever reason, somebody uses an unsuppressed weapon to kill the last two people. We get in the vans and (I'll learn this later) before we even leave Stab City, one gets blown up and someone else gets run over. On the sixth f*cking attempt, who's riding with who is changed up a bit and I get a guy who just loves using sticky bombs but is frankly sh*tty at throwing/aiming with them. His bombs explode on top of the van multiple times, and if we hadn't been in it, sh*t would've gone bad once again. We manage to make it to Trevor's base under the bridge, but I had had enough. 

 

Just too f*cking much.

I get that anytime there is another person in my session (or I'm in his session).

I have the ports blocked but still get anywhere from 1 to 4 people there a lot.

I get booted eventually every time unless I switch sessions myself.

 

I absolutely never get this error when playing alone.

Apparently Mr f*cking Boss featured a screenshot of a post I made in the next DLC tread without cutting my username out and I've had a steady stream of complete f*cking idiots sending me friend requests on PSN. 

 

Don't want to change my settings because I'm always up for adding players from the forum, always enjoy playing with you guys when I get chance.

 

I know it's a public forum, I know he can do as he chooses in that regard, he's also not to know my forum and PSN usernames are the same, but a simple inbox message "I'm using your post in a video, would you like me to crop out your username?" would be courteous.

Playing with randoms on heists is so discouraging. I had a friend I used to grind them with, but unfortunately he passed away irl. Doing these with randoms gives me headaches. I don’t understand how...

 

1. They can’t read the instructings on the bottom of their screens.

 

2. Why are they charging into the AI’s like Rambo.

 

3. Why are they leaving after 1 try. Also they’re the one causing us the fail that said try. Do they leave out of embarrassment?

 

4. How can some of these nice people demand such a large cut for doing none of the pre-setups or any of the setups. 

 

Anyways the list goes on. It’s times like these that remind me why I stop playing for months on end sometimes. I could have these “hard” heists done within an hour if Rockstar would just let me do them by my lonesome. So much time wasted on idiots who haven’t got a clue.

No it's cause they don't know there is a restart button. Pressing continue is all they know sadly. 

 

I did the Deluxo setup, we pressed restart and the noob continue. In the end he sat afk at the airport in his deluxo and after 5 mins he invited me to a party cause he didnt know how to press A on xbox to fly the car lol. Anyways I asked why he wanted to quit after 1 attempt and he had no clue theres a restart option.
