Alright, this rant had a long time coming, so work with me here.

 

Deluxo Time!

 

Rockstar messed up a lot with the Deluxo. If they're going to go so far to make it MemeMobile, why not price it 1.21 million? And that's for a TRULY STOCK version. No hover, no flying, no rockets.

 

The hover drive and flying should've been an upgrade costing millions to complement the 3.5 mil price on top of the rockets.

He swapped to marksman and hit you in the head.

 

I'm sure it should take two headshots to kill someone with full health and BST.

Hop on GTA after work hoping to make some money and buy a Pyro to fool around with. See my stock is at a decent level so I start a sell mission. Stuck with the Dune FAV again, fourth time in two days, which, meh. I'm driving towards the docks after my first two stops and wow, man. Rockstar is really going for it. Two enemy Dubstas spawn in and slam into me, broadsiding me and spinning me out, and killing me with their aimbot bullsh*t. I didn't even see it coming. I didn't see them, blinked, and they were just THERE, man. I respawn, and I'm a ways down the road and somehow, with Micro SMGs they manage to kill me. There was a good distance between us, a block and a half at most. At this point it's like, really, Rockstar? If you're gonna f*ck me, can you at least buy me a drink first? I know in some convoluted way that's it all some scheme to sell more stinky fish cards. It has to be.

Today was the first time I had one of those explosive crates kill on the last corridors of doomsday heist. wtf f*cking c* why did they put them there

last night i didn't have much fun sourcing cars, the 1st one got destroyed when a random attacked me (r* allowing players to attack other players who are doing import / export jobs was a bad idea).

the 2nd car i lost $$$ on happened when a npc cut me off when i was delivering it and i hit the npc car causing gang members to go nuts and attack and chase me (i lost about $3k).

the 3rd car (this one i failed to get) was in a empty lobby because of r*'s servers, i collected a high end car and one random joined but left causing the high end car that i was taking to my vehicle warehouse catch on fire and explode (r* really needs to remove that feature).

I gave up on the game, its been weeks I haven’t played and it feels good...I think I wont be coming back any more. I think the design of the gameplay right now is more to make you frustrate you than entertain. Thats no game for you, its a rage/anger/frustration/ build up bad character game. The community is by far and long gone a lost cause, the mechanism is trully f*cked up and the A.I is overwhelming powerful. So yeah, it finally made me, a long time player give up and finally move on...Its been a long and cool adventure, met really cool people on the way and done lots of things in this game that I really cant say it for others...Il be roaming around the forums but thats me done in Los Santos.

Btw off topic damn i miss grinding pacific standard with kuruma and when replay was easy. 250k-750k in less than 20 minutes.

I miss it too, man. I may have done it so much that at the time one more run would have made me want to slit my wrists and chomp on a cyanide pill but in all honesty, I miss it. The group I used to do it with is scattered to the wind, playing all different games and I miss them. We used to have a blast but we did so many runs we just got burnt out. If I could find a new group to do it with, I'd be all for it. Isn't the same without the Kuruma and nabbing a random vehicle is kind of tedious but, yeah... I know the feels.

I'm going to take a break from GTAO. It's just... there are so many things wrong right now with the game that have not been addressed and more problems have just been added.

Ive logged maybe 5 hours since the disaster that is SASS dropped. The sad part is Im a car guy and I tend to race quite a bit in this game. Could have been a real decent filler DLC for a guy like me. All they needed to do was add more cars, some new races, and maybe a few long over due fixes. Instead they BROKE the new cars, ruined the heritage of the Hotring racer by completely ignoring everything about it that made it fun in SA, and added one of the most ignorant and ill conceived race / adversary mode hybrids you could think of.

 

Its interns man, thats all it is. Rockstar has turned this game over to half wits who are working for free. Im kind of hoping this is the end because right now its a goddamn dumpster fire. The real surprise to me is the fact that I expected nothing from this update, literally nothing. I honestly thought theyd add some cars I woukd be meh about and new stunt / Transform races I would also be meh about...and yet they managed to disappoint someone who had no expectations...that takes skill!

 

They always manage to find a way to f*ck things up in this game. It's literally the only thing they're good at. You can also tell some of these cars have been rushed due to poor details and missing headlight covers.

Cars spawning from thin air, too It's like IV all over again, but worse. You don't have even have to look back with your camera.

December 15, 2017. Skip to today: Still a broken POS helicopter that just looks pretty. FIX, THIS, SUCKING, PHUCKING, THING, ALREADY!

 

& Also... LOL @ someone saying Smuggler's Run is the worst DLC? Really? I didn't know a DLC with actual new gameplay was worse than Super Sport DLC. Which, mind you. Added cars. But that's it. It was a perfect opportunity to add what I called a "Finesse Update" geared towards cars specifically in this case. But whatever.

Makes sense? No. It doesn't. It just needs to be FIXED! This thing's been broken since it released. THIS IS WAY OVERDUE. And yeah. The turret doesnt work at all anymore. This thing just keeps getting better and better.

Noobs hosting stunt races and launching them Non-Custom with only 4 or 5 players having joined the lobby.

 

Added to which, backing out of the lobby leaves you stuck in the clouds and then the Timed out... or Error joining a session... message.

 

Things like this that piss me off most about this game.

Doesn't help that they don't do a great job of building on previous ideas - instead, they seem to re-invent them from the ground up, so everything winds up with the depth of a puddle, and zero development.

 

Nearest thing that felt like an actual evolution was Bikers after FAFF - I still reckon the best route for Freemode businesses would have been more like that (with each new organisation fleshing out the GTAO 'ecosystem' and offering a different approach to Freemode work), but with all the 2017 things just being extensions of SecuroServ/MCs, and this next thing apparently being a "consolidation" of ALL of that, it never feels like anything more than just tacking on more variations of the same thing on to the existing templates.
