I played a few of the new tracks, they're terrible. It's just "hold accelerate and win". Even worse than rocket Voltic races. They're just giant oval tracks with boring straights and occasionally a boost pad or two. Uninspired pandering "rubbing is racing" trash.

 

What a load of f*cking bollocks this is.

And it's q NASCAR-style update, what did you expect? Oval Races are the norm there. And this paticular racing update isn't focused on stunting for once.

I missed the first 20 seconds of a Hotring race. Still came in second out of 16 players.

 

It's ridiculous. Winning Hotring races is a lucky dip and it promotes spinning other racers out. It's ridiculously poorly designed.

They sorta fixed ewo and vehicle insurance. Now how about they fix passive mode abuse, like for f*cking starters make passive mode unavailable in weaponized vehicles!!!!!! I f*cking hate it when some jet pussy in passive mode flies past you. You know they are gonna go off the radar and go off passive because they are a pussy who is too scared to fight without abusing the game mechanics

So the overrev boost is messed up on the new Supers. It appears that it slows you down now...I think ima save my money for now...stupid R*.

 

*edit: can confirm BROKEN AF! even on X1. Noticeable change especially when you nose up to something to test for awd and when you're car is spinning the engine cuts out at random points. Hitting the overrev stalls you out on a straightaway too...

They don't know I'm passive unless I'm close enough that they can see I'm transparent.

Or of course there are the people who will just non stop follow you going in and out of passive. If someone really wants to go passive then they can hit it once and do what they need to do. If someone wants to go AFK then go sit in your house or garage. Also passive mode for weaponized vehicles and air crafts need to come to an end. A reason why I wont even bother dog fighting in this game 8/10 the pilot goes passive to try to get the upper hand.

So that's why the Sabre Hotring loses speed in the middle of a straight line for no reason even when racing solo? I thought it could be my controller, which is old and torn down af, but still works.

 

If even a non car freak/non racing guy like me can notice that, the thing should be a big f*ck up.

So apparently creator mode is getting "heaps" of new stuff. Is this going to include Director mode?

 

Trying to create a Machinima on console on your own is near impossible. I need to be able to control multiple characters in the same scene. Kind of like a record one character, save, then I can enter the same scene as another character whilst the game plays back the actions of the previous character.

Actually, I honestly wish for PvE sessions where PvP is impossible. Let the griefer f*cks stay in their own pits of Hades and jerk their epeens while griefing the f*ck out of eachother.

There is nothing broken with Passive Mode. Its the downright f*ck rotten community who is to blame for the abuse of it,

(Edit): and the reason why Passive Mode was needed in the first place. To avoid any sh*thead to blow your ass up, because you happen to be within their range.

I would flipping pay about $60 to rent my own flipping lobby that would help some, set the lobby to midnight 24/7 and raining. I can set the rules of what can and can't be used, kick anyone out that starts trouble.

Run my crates in peace, I would allow others in if they wanted to make money.
