Heists are where it's at, you don't need to sit around to earn an actual paycheck

 

True, but I'd rather have randumbs stand around doing nothing than have them be active and risk messing up the mission, like they always do in heists. Plus, you have multiple lives in missions, and one person dying doesn't result in an automatic failure. Also, the AFKer may be standing around doing nothing, but at least their presence increases the pay, since the more players you have, the better the pay.

 

Yeah well we seem to have Contact missions double every three months;

IE, Heists, and VIP work deserve it FAR more than that sh*t. Specially as all pay more for about the same amount of time,

We do? I wouldn't know, since I don't play anymore. However, when I did play, I rarely ever saw double pay for missions. Maybe double RP has been a thing for missions recently, but certainly not double cash, or even a combination of double RP and cash.

 

In terms of double pay, Rockstar favours adversary modes and races more because they know for a fact that people will grind and earn a sh*t ton easily from missions, as they're easier and less of a hassle to complete, and you can play more and more by voting in the menu after the missions. Even if we do get double pay for missions every three months, that's still not enough. Do take into account that we haven't gotten any new contact missions since 2014! The least they could do is give them double pay more often, but they will never do that because they know players will profit off of it.

I team up with a friend/crew member for more bonuses, launch the playlist, and we take turns doing the mission while the other guy just hangs out, smokes a bowl, takes a dump, whatever.

15 minutes per mission for big payouts of cash and RP = 150 minutes.

When we finish we go sell our bunker / coke / meth... then rinse and repeat.

 

double rp and cash on contact missions are my favorite past-time in this game.

This exactly. It's more profitable in the long run, and it's actually fun. It may get boring after a while, but the fun can last quite a long time. With double pay, it's even more fun! If you play on free aim, you increase the pay even more.

 

But, of course, too much fun and too much profit upsets Rockstar, so that's why they won't be giving missions double pay anytime soon. They're smart.

Ended up getting kicked before the match even started

-_- Not even a ridiculously/obvious modded high level (356) unlike the host (800 something) or even the two people that joined (low levels)

Once again, I hate certain gta players

^ That could be an error where it says you got kicked but it's most likely your connection or the host's

Matchmaking is flawed on this game. How is it that there's only one capture contend taking place?

 

If I can switch lobby's without previously landing in one I was in before, why the hell can't I find another job as easy as it is to join new lobbies? I'm only bringing this up because one of my daily objectives is to do a GTA Capture but for the last 10 minuets I've only been getting the same contend lobby and no other capture lobby (Both on call and direct join)

 

Now I've tried to host it but no one wants to join which makes completing this last daily objective a pain in the ass. Either Rockstar removes captures from the Daily objectives or they fix their sh*tty flawed match making system up because it's sh*t if I'm constant getting put back into the same job lobby.

and why do you need to ask me If I am sure about depositing my money. Why did they need to make it more tedious than it needs to be. No I actually don't want to deposit my money. I accidentally took out my phone, went to the internet, went to the bank website, and chose the amount of money I want to deposit.

On the one hand--at least on the PC--I noticed that Rockstar reduced the amount of time it takes to clear a wanted level. This is a welcome, albeit long-overdue change.

 

But(!) the freaking LSPD are activated on almost everything now, and it's <expletive> annoying. Way overused to screw with player's game play, spend more for things like calling off the cops or bribing cops, and (ultimately) boost Shark Card sales.

 

Like flexcreator said recently, it only serves to make even hardcore legit players start looking for ways to "short-circuit" the system.

 

Rockstar is sadly lacking for fresh ideas in numerous areas. Take NOOSE for example. Instead of sending a mixture of the (obviously) useless, bog-standard LSPD and NOOSE after you when a player reaches a four- or five-star wanted level, how about sending JUST NOOSE, and an upgraded NOOSE with better weaponry and armor?

 

You know, like armored NOOSE SWAT vans that actually have bulletproof tires? lol

 

All Rockstar needs to do is look at Watch Dogs. With as many things as they got wrong, one thing they did right was escalation of law enforcement the longer you held them off. After a while, you get guys dressed in bomb-proof armor coming after you, saying things like "Do you really wanna go home in a body bag?"

The amount of stunt bike races I have cocked up because the camera just switches to “first person” camera view for absolutely no reason at all....grrr

Did all the heists, not worth my time. Robbing the biggest bank in Los Santos with a crew of 4 all you get is a million bucks (not much more than that on hard mode either) to split 4 ways?

 

My crew and I can run the top contact missions on our usual game night and make more money than we do finishing a heist, with less over head (restocking used ammo and armor) by using our personal vehicles.

On top of that, why not actually make use of the FIB? GTA IV's singleplayed utilized the FIB at 4-6 stars (although it was a random chance of getting either only NOOSE or only FIB, never both for some reason). Put those FIB Buffalos to good use. I don't get why R* like dumbing down their wanted level system.

It'd be great if R* added the "Select Your Vehicle" feature from Heists into Contact Missions. I'm getting sick and tired of calling in my vehicle of choice or getting one from my garage before a Contact Mission.

There's a bunch I could complain about from today but there's one problem thats made me forget about everything else....

 

... I can't drive a car into my office garages to store it! Tried moving a few cars between appartment garages no problem, but when I go to park it in my office garage it'll show the car driving into the garage, then my character standing in the garage before going back to the car being on the lift, then it dissapearing back to the appartment garage its stored in, leaving my character standing by the door.

It's the reason I don't play public. You never know who is the host and how crappy is his internet on a scale from FUBAR dial-up to manual packet delivery via teletype. Seriously, with network connection like this everybody will benefit if you're stay invite only.

Non Funkable Token

So my personal Cargobob, that I don't recall to be destroyed by any means, was nowhere to be seen on the interaction menu list, not at the hangar either. Mors Mutual did nothing about it, off course.

 

Went to the arrange menu at the hangar: 19 counted spots, all filled :panic:

 

Long story short: 300k down the pan through buying&selling an Ultralight just to cure the feckgfrfgsddsrting ghost spot left by the Cargobob.

My wife's character is apparently no longer safe anywhere.

 

Yesterday. In passive mode in a public session.

 

 

 

Today. Alone in an Invite Only session.

guy calls me a pussy because I'm having fun carpet bombing him (unsuccessfully but I digress)

that same guy kills himself when I come towards him

that same guy goes passive and runs to a Hydra

 

f*ck this game making the hydra tank a rocket, I keep hitting it thinking it'll go down before they have a chance to get inside in passive but keep finding out later it tanks a rocket, though to be fair, the Hydra will eventually fall I think its stupid that the thing can f*cking take off and fly around for a while even though it should have never managed to take off.

 

also between me carpet bombing and the guy running for a jet I get shot down by another jet who goes off passive and off radar to attack me then goes right back to passive

 

I hope next time you abuse passive like that somebody breaks into your home and stabs you right in the gut
