Looks to me like they're both curb boosting...I have no sympathy here. If either of them took a clean line and was hit I might say, "f*ck that other racer" but they both look like they're fighting for the same strip of curb to get their glitched speed boost...I kinda of wish both of them flew off the track.

 

On a side note, curb boosting is total horsesh*t. It may be a necessary evil to win races against the "pro's" but it's just cheap tactics and rewards racers for doing something that should actually slow them down considerably. There's no reason a zig zagging car going over a curb should be faster than a car that took a proper line and remains straight...but I guess there are racing games out there to play if you actually care about things like that...here in the GTA universe, if it doesn't prevent shark card sales then it's not broken. I personally do not race with people who do it...it's one of the few times I don't feel bad about taking out another racer. I kind of enjoy disrupting the curb booster and putting them into a wall! If they had taken a clean line and raced like a normal person I'd leave them alone.

 

Also...laggy "teleporting" racers is a tough call to make. I see them all the time and passing them is an absolute bitch because you think you have a clean pass and suddenly they're in front of you, beside you or behind you. I've been in a couple of situations where a laggy racer was all over the track, even appearing to wipe out only to be yards ahead of me a few seconds later. It's just how life in GTA works. It's less likely that they're cheating and more likely that someone's internet just sucks...

Hell, the griefiest player I know personally is as dirt poor as you can be. I'm talking so poor that when I offer to let him mug me for ammo money, he has to rob a store in order to pay Lamar first. Spends the bit of cash I can kick to him on explosives and the goes to town.

I am pretty sure most folk on here have had the odd rampage around a lobby, some more so that others. When the mood takes me I do kind of like to fire up Hostile Takeover to protect from insurance/BS points and go broomstick and DeLorian hunting in my Akula, or just go on a buzzard rampage to see how much I can get away with before I get taken out.

I have been in exactly 5 races since I started playing in June. The first 2 were contact and I never did that again. The others just sucked so if I want to drive I'll break out Formula 1 Racing sim.

Most of us do, I'm sure. Courtney's point I think was more towards the addicts. The junkies that can't go a day without their fix. They'll lie to the family, cheat on their wife and sell their dog for more.

Like I mentioned the other day, this seems to be an ongoing bug that has been here for the last couple of years now. Rockstar could easily patch it as I'm sure they know the fix to it but you know how their priorities are.

 

P.S I'm not having the issue with the MK2 Combat MG but it's always the grenade launcher which refil works out to be more expensive on than the combat MG itself.

 

It seems to be an issue with gun locker guys. Set all weapons to show then buy ammo. Try not to use a custom loadout or a gun locker at all if possible.

Honestly I don't have too much of a gripe with research, paywalls, upgrades, tints and liveries costing $. If everything was accessible at once it would get boring quickly.

 

This is the reason I think they should've kept the rank requirements for weapons added after launch. What's the point in having rank requirement for the Carbine Rifle if you can get the Special Carbine, which is better, at rank 1? Or why having a rank requirement for the Grenade Launcher when you can get the Compact Grenade Launcher which can be used while riding a bike and which almost has the same damage?

 

Sure it would be "unfair" to those new to the game, but that's what progression should be all about. Besides, IMO, it's not like the disadvantage would be THAT huge. A new player could still buy a Buzzard and be as much of a threat as I am even though he's rank 12 and I'm 400-something.

 

On another topic; last night I got into a fight with a rocket-spamming tryhard, he ended up killing me 6 times before I put a hollow point .45 between his eyes. Man was that rewarding. I don't really give a sh*t if he'd have killed me 20 times using pussy tactics, that one headshot was worth it all lol.

 

It really is more fun to play this game when you decide to take it less seriously, I do wonder what people think when they kill me and then hear me laughing over the mic.

The APC and turret limo go on sale all the f*cking time, they should just permanently lower the pricing on those if they're so desperate to sell them.

They do love to spam Ultralight, Nightshark, APC, and Turret Limo sales. even if I didn't already have those I'd still complain. They have over 100+ vehicle's they need to do a better job at rotating what goes on sale

I don't own a gun locker unless my MOC came with one... Then again I haven't touched that once either as I have no reason too.

-Repeat at least 5 times with same basic failed results. Sans getting run over, but throw in a, got my car nuked, instead.

 

-Begins to wonder why there's even 4 door cars. Let alone cars with passenger seats.
