Anyone experienced this bug where two races happen simultaneously ?

I'm supposed to be 5th or 4th but it says I'm first, checked the leaderboard and I'm racing with 3 players even though there's more than that.

Not exactly, but something similar. I was in free mode when I saw a bunch of cars racing in the sky. I recognized the route, and realized they where playing the Green Machine stunt race.

 

It must have merged the two lobbies together.

Nah, they were non-contact. Though I don't know if that's because the host selected that option in his race, or that's just how it works when two lobbies merge.

Non contact ensures the fastest racer, with the best performing car and racing lines will dominate, hell I prefer losing to legit guys (who I have run into during this event) that host non-contact races and just squirrel around the track leaving others in the dust, at least I understand I'm being outskilled but racing with contact on,slipstream and catchup is just cancer

 

I've got used to them now, they are just expected. You generally get four classes of racer when playing with randoms...

 

0 - 100 rank - haven't a clue what they are doing, all over the track in non-custom cars but relatively harmless and easy to avoid. Often end up at the back in little groups though making roadblocks.

101 - 300 rank - not enough skill to win by driving so will ram, pit and try every dirty trick. And still lose. Avoid at all costs.

301 - 600 rank - a bit more skill and less prone to trying to ram everything

601 rank and above - generally pretty fast, decent racers and will most often set races for 3 laps and non-contact.

Well r* that's what you get for over charging to play the new heist !!!!!

 

Would it have been so hard to let us use our apartment heist room to play Doomsday!!! !! No you had to make us buy a facility to host at a heafty cost.

 

Well what's the outcome it's a glitch/dupe fest. Which in turn makes the game lag lag and lag while you hotpatch !

 

Sod it !!

 

On a good note, people get to share rare cars with each other so it's all good.

I get good times with it, but...its front is bland, I've seen smaller backsides on cruise liners, and it's over priced for what it is.

 

So I can't see myself actually buying the thing

 

All the doomsday cars have been over priced so far, the SC1 laughably so, shouldn't even be in the super class since it performs like a bottom tier sports. Yet they want 1.6 mill for it!!! Which is a shame because I actually like the way it looks.

If you look at all the other prices in the game, the Hermes' price is pretty damn cheap.

I f*cking hate those overpowered helicopters that snipe you from a moving car during I/E. It's stupid, unrealistic and it's one of the biggest things that plagues gaming. ARTIFICIAL DIFFICULTY. I also hate that when you're out of the car you'll just start getting spawn killed by the op stupid aimbot helicopter and you'll progressively keep spawning further and further away from the car you're supposed to take.

Was in passive mode on the side of the main road in Paleto, just taking pics of my car

MC with 4 players drives by with some supplies, couple of NPC cars chasing them.

You'd think they'd be chasing down the angry bikers who just nicked their van full of supplies right?

No? Well, what did they do instead?

Pulled a 180 at FULL SPEED in the middle of a busy highway, slamed right into my car, and INSTA KILLED me before I could even react for NO REASON, then drove off.

I had no part of that mission whatsoever. I was just sat there parked up minding my own business.

Give yourself an empty session, there are enough ways.

Just go for it and blast back to the warehouse as fast as you can accepting the repair bill which is usually up to about $11k depending on how you do, the only time they actually kill me is if I am stealing a (slow) Roosevelt sometimes. It's false economy to stay and try and kill them.

I know i've bitched & moaned about this in the past but I cannot stand their broken ass car selling limit bullsh*t. How long do I have to wait until I can start selling multiple cars again? And no i'm NOT duping. I'm not some 12yr old kid just trying to make money. 33 yrs old and been playing this game since day one and NEVER had a problem selling cars up until the last couple months. It f*cking sucks. I have stayed on for hours and by passed the 45 minute limit or whatever it supposedly is and still doesn't let me. After I bought the POS Revolt(I always buy the new cars no matter what just to check them out) I can't sell anything because I've reached the stupid limit for the day. Do I have to come on and just play for a few hours every day without selling or what? So f*cking dumb. Sorry for the rant it just irritates the sh*t out of me because i've never duped a car in the existence of GTA Online & they're basically punishing me because I have similar license plates on my cars(my initials/important dates to me that just vary in numbers). As much as I hate to do it, it looks like i'll be having to buy a shark card because now that I am stuck with the revolter for the time being i'm sitting at $2mil and that's not jack sh*t. Can't do the Double $$ & RP races either because i've been in and out of the hospital for the last week.

I think I know what happened here. The moment you landed, your car sank down low enough to hit the airport lights in such a way the Faction deals with curbs and sent you flying. It's complete BS and it sucks that it happened to you.

I use to go off road (On top of the hills and mountains) and never had any trouble up there until I got back onto a main road. But I don't know if Rockstar changed something here or what but the last time I did an I/E car and went up the hill the buggers in their sultans were already up there waiting. I'd like to do more I/E as I find it fun but just like the Doomsday Heists there's over powered NPC's here. Conspiracy theories float around a lot here but it doesn't surprise me they make this sh*t as over powered as possible to make players either give up or rage quit and buy a shark card just to skip all the hard work. I mean how many of us are here doing it just for fun instead of profit?

Now this here is why I don't race

I saw an invite to a Stunt race I hadn't done before, NEW confirmed it so I accepted.

I saw it set to 3 laps and did the loudest sigh..... the stunt and especially Transform as Transform races take 5 mins to do ONE lap! just drag on if set more than two laps

I decide to roll with it, come in second place despite getting knocked off at the start.

Next race, set to 3 again. I get pissed and message the host why he keeps doing that and that he's just dragging the race on./

Phantom Wedges seem to be nothing but magnets for deluxos and every other weaponized vehicles out there. I can't drive two meters in it without some [email protected] douche in another weapon armed vehicle deciding to blow me and the truck up. I have an APC for f*ck sake and no one seems to give two sh*ts if I pull it out and drive around town in it but I pull a Wedge out and suddenly I'm a target?

 

Good thing I decided to disable someones Deluxo with the Wedge in another session this morning. Felt good to say the least and If I see another Deluxo on the street, it's going to meet the Wedge.

Honestly, I think the standard ones deserve a buff too - should be much bigger. But these ones, these are just pathetic. They look the part and make you feel like you're going to get hit - but you never actually do ... The blast radius is basically non-existent on them.

 

I don't think I've ever been killed by them. Not even once. Literally.

 

Surely these are bugged? The standard ones aren't yeah, they're just small. But these are something else. I wouldn't be surprised if the explosive sniper gives a bigger blast than these.

I know, right? Those leaderboards say pretty much: "LOOK AT ME I'M A CHEATING LOSER." But that's not hurting Shark Card sales so they don't care.
