Why can't people properly fly an airplane in prison break, the game has been out for 3 years so there's no excuse for you not to know how to fly one.

Tell you what, I'm bloody awful at escaping from Zancudo in a Lazer, I get shot down every time. I can usually dodge one rocket when I twist and turn and work the rudder but the other gets me and a couple of seconds later the follow up attack finishes me off.

 

I suspect I'd be a crap jet griefer.

 

Don't feel bad; I can't even seem to remember (or be arsed to remember) how to break into Fort Zancudo unless I'm flying above it in another type of aerocraft. I know there are a couple of dirt ramps where you can launch yourself over, but like you, I only ever go there to do the odd Daily Objective and I generally make it in via the Buzzard. However, I feel your pain; I'm generally killed before I can even spot a Lazer, and I would likely be the absolute worst jet griefer in the game--I'm rather awful (or at least sub-par) at flying both the Lazer and Hydra, and I'm sure I'd be sniped into oblivion within 30 seconds or less.

My theory on this: when the game came out, majority of people sucked at being a pilot, then some of them learned how to fly and to avoid prison break because it pays sh!t and people will keep failing miserably, making it endless restart-fest. Which results in present situation - noone but newbs joins prison break. And they are crappy pilots because they are newbs.

I really don't consider being cockteased with updates fun anymore after 3 years. Give us the content and quit playing around already. I've been waiting for this DLC literally since day one.

I disagree. I would rather have R* telling us what they're planning on releasing next. It's obvious that there's some technical issues with this update, and I prefer they actually fix bugs etc for once instead of releasing broken content.

 

Yet, you cannot please everyone and no matter what R* does. Someone will complain.

 

 

Guess that happens when you fire your main project manager.

Joined session, "flying upside down challenge"

Why the hell not? I call in my hydra and participate.

Gaining the lead by far, by 1 minute left I decide to chase a bounty.

Shoot at bounty; "challenge over, all players left", didn't even get the bounty and a lousy $500 for my efforts in the challenge.

 

Later that day; got an invite as a bodyguard.

Why the hell not? I join and travel to the CEO, he's standing still doing nothing.

I go on my own merry way while after a while the challenge "air checkpoints" is starting.

Get another hydra, take the lead in the challenge by 70 checkpoints collected.

CEO suddenly woke up and decided to start a crate collection, kicking me off the event.

 

A well, the bonus for winning it was going to him anyway, so I haul ass to the crashsite where the crate is.

Kill the bad guys, collect 1 out of 2 crates and while I'm waiting for the rest of the organisation coming in;

 

"CEO left"

I finally decide to start my heists....doing the Fleeca job.

 

1st time the game crashed on the way to the factory to grab the Kuruma

2nd time the f*cking cargobob wouldn't pick up the car

3rd times the charm? Yeah right, the f*cking car wouldn't move once we exited the bank, even when mashing the bloody keys

 

Rage quit.

 

I had some similar issues before... couldn't enter the Fleeca. (equip mask, even though i had), and the Cargobob not having a damn magnet.

Restarted a lamar mission multiple times with a random hoping for double pay.finally beat it with a $11,000 pay.

Huh? Are you kidding me? Where did all my explosives go? I had all of them before I started an Entourage job but after it ended.... each and every explosive was gone. -_-

All other ammo/explosive ammos are there still just my grenades, stickies, proxies, molotovs, and tear gas gone.....

From somewhat unpleasant personal experience, players in a CEO or VIP mission don't count towards the required number for the free roam events.

GTAO needs more weapons, playing Entourage on certain maps has convinced me of this. Assassins have no long-range capability so they just get continuously spawncamped on the more open maps like the one in Paleto, and giving them even regular Snipers would make their damage output too good against the Target. We need some kind of low-power sniper, maybe a .22 or something that still has a scope.

 

edit: Also, when some guy who thinks he's some tacticool sniper lord climbs to the top of the parking garage to snipe the Assassins team but doesn't bother helping the Target actually get to the extraction zone and loses us the game. Sure you got a k/d of 17:3, but this isn't deathmatch so get your finger out of your arse and move.

I know, but I have been doing Events with just 2 players, they must have changed something. Normally, after an event starts you can still play it even if it drops below 5 players.

I did several yesterday for sh*ts and giggles. One paid out at about $25K i think, where you deliver two cars to this warehouse type area and have to beat off the swarm of aimbots. I got one that paid $11K like yours. Yeah nah.

 

Anyway I tried one last time with Peace Offerings. I must be a complete drongo to do this. Thought I'd be kind to the low levels in it and help out and use some heavy weaponry but they kept getting smashed, running around blindly and doing dumb stuff . One even blew himself up with his grenade. Arrrrrgh. I felt only marginally better when I gunned them all down when we spawned into the same lobby. Now, THIS TIME....never again on Lamar missions.

Just when I thought it wasn't possible to find a worse stunt race than the two "Trenches", "Chiliad", and "Forest", a few minutes ago I had the unfortunate pleasure of being introduced to "The Wave". Jesus, what a terrible track. That whole upward ramp portion where you cannot properly see the CPs and end up going off the edge of the track is absolute bullsh*t. It seems to encourage everyone to race like complete arseholes too. Never again. In fact, I don't think I've found a single motorbike stunt course that I've enjoyed.

A bad day is a bad day.

 

Tried a PS finale, bunch of clowns here, nope. Tried another, first run the game bugs the f*ck out of us when we were getting away in the Kuruma (this finale is buggy as hell as of late, I wonder if they are trying to fix something). Second run, the Turkish low level 12 year old leaves the game when we were near the Dinghy, probably obliged to go to bed by his mom.

 

Tried to find an Entourage lobby, I got thrown into Siege Mentality II, only 2 rounds, and I had the bad luck to be on the losing team in the second round, match lost. Really nice...

 

Finally, I tried a Lamar mission (it has no x2 bonus on PC, however), Desperate Situations. 3 low levels and me, several trials. And 1 of them leaves when I was killing the last target...........

 

Just too much for a day. Probably the game wants me to stay grinding crates at the moment.
