It has a fast fire rate iirc. Some people may prefer that over a slightly more powerful rifle. Or people that just enjoy a little variety.

Personally, I like the "plink" sound of the round from the Bullpup Rifle best. It feels good on stealth kills... Second only to the Machine Pistol.

NPCs shouldn't be able to take cover or blind fire

I don't mind NPCs actually taking cover, what do bothers me is when an NPC going full Wanted bending the bullets and somehow hitting me with every single burst of a Micro SMG from a block's distance.

 

It's even more infurating when it's someone who shouldn't have such superhiman accuracy, like a redneck, a biker, a baller or a literal hobo.

 

They just activated "NoSpread" or something. Blind fire just looks so f*cking scrubby anyway. And f*cking cut down on the f*cking line of sight these enemies have for f*cks sake this f*cking game and it's f*cking f*ck of a f*cking sh*tf*ck.Yeah, how dafuq ima look down the scope of my sniper rifle from 2+ blocks away, on unsuspecting enemies, and they just seem to figure out I'm aiming at them ...there are no words...and to start shooting directly back at me and hitting me with, beyond ridiculous, precision...

Some days I swear the whole NPC population of LS is getting paid by the dudes getting pissed by me stealing their cars. As if it wasnt enough to be chased by maniacs trying to shoot up your car and increase your repair costs, the NPC traffic seems completely kamikaze and intent of crashing into you by any means necessary..

Yes, I know its because they get spooked by all the gunshots and all, but goddamn.

 

The kamikaze aspect can be mitigated somewhat.

The traffic/police/npc enemies all seem to mirror your pads input, that's what I found anyway. So I coast a little every time I see imminent danger, then manoeuvre out the way, it seems to work well for me anyway. Watch the police cars do it when you left right left the steering on the pad when you are behind them with a wanted level.

I also had a random car in traffic earlier steer into me and follow me in a full circle as I tried to avoid it, till I let go of the pad!

 

True, I get what you're saying.. But then there's those times when you're going almost full speed with an empty lane in front of you, and an NPC car swerves in front of you right about when you're about to pass.. Or those that promptly stop when coming from a perpendicular angle in front of you lol

Like I said, it can be mitigated somewhat, like coasting and giving a wide berth, but the powers that be are out to f*ck us over with this game now, so there's always a chance that you can't avoid that random car/van/bus/police car etc etc etc that spawns out of nowhere and has you in it's sights. I still get caught out, but I do try to avoid max speed runs for obvious reasons. You can also drive at a certain speed and the following enemies stay just out of reach and avoids them respawning multiple times on the route.

 

I hate what this game has become, for the simple fact we have to resort to stupid tactics like the ones mentioned above.

 

I can't imagine what it will be like on a fricken old nag (horse)(rdr), but I'm not buying into that cr*p, so I will worry not about that, Lol.

Well I did kept my upgraded special carbine as stock ammo all my others are fmj or the flame ones.i didn't upgrade the sns pistol but reading a members comment I think I should

You ever think of how much everything in this game is purely cosmetic or "for fun"? I mean we pay millions to customize our properties. We buy expensive clothing that is (mostly) cosmetic. Expensive cosmetic car mods.There are tons of expensive but impractical vehicles. Like the lynx is one of the most expensive cars in this game even though it's one of the slowest cars in the sports category. Why buy a customizable penthouse in eclipse towers for 1.1m when you can get an apartment in the same building that is functionally identical for half the price? When I think about how much of this game is just cosmetic it makes it feel very pointless

Bullpup Rifle has a high fire rate and the MK2 version is slightly stronger. Stacking BST on a fire rate that high should be pretty lethal tbh.

There's a huge majority of items there. Ignore the aesthetic clothes:

cars serve a purpose get from point A-B. Ask yourself what the difference between granger and an X-80? Capacity, speed, handing? But that ultimately comes down to preference. They both serve A-B and unless time is of the essence the 2 mill difference is pointless.

How about molotok, pyro and nakota? All 3 are planes/jets. All 3 have countermeasures, non explosive mg, and rockets. Beyond the pyro 2nd seat the only difference between the 3 is the speed/handling.

 

Surprise surprise those that think there is no apathy for the DH dripfeed this is why those that don't obsess over cars arnt vocal. We don't care if we have those cars or not they don't bring anything new. The SR dripfeed however dangled a helicopter that can do everything but abseil for 2-3 months on a stick.

 

 

Beyond vehicles that bring some ability/weaponization and finding that car that handles just right and the business opportunity properties almost all big dollar purchases are superficial.

 

Penthouse/stilthouse/office interior design? Superficial.

Eclipse tower variations? Superficial.

 

 

Why do we do that? Because the variations bring a bit of ownership of it. I can trade my stilt house for a 250k high end appt however when I'm in there I feel more relaxed and "at home" than the other original heist capable properties. I also keep a medium "appartment" that is around the corner from Martin's because of the same reasons.

 

Other do this superficial crap for the RP of it. My CEO warehouses are all around the airport/docks for the role play of access to those avenues of transport.

This relates to a gripe I have with the direction society is going in general. Watching your efficiency like a hawk and trying to be the most efficient you can is...not fun, at the very least. We need more of the because I can or because we can mentality. If its what you want, it is what you want and nobody else deserves a say. Spend your GTA$ how you want. Cosmetically, efficiently, inefficiently, whatever. Let people play the game in their own way.

This is something I will say until Im blue in the face, dead, whatever. Cars (in real life) simply are not just piles of metal, glass, rubber, and plastic that only have a purpose to get you from point A to point B. They are far more than that.

 

In GTA, take the Granger - maybe you want to drive it up one side of Mount Chilliad and down the other...yes, for fun. Maybe you want to take your Granger offroading in Palomino Highlands for fun. Maybe you want to race your X-80 for fun, or do some spirited driving. Regular cars can do more than just take you to whatever job youre doing and back...

Suddenly I'm kicked out of the MOC and the MOC fades away.

"MOC has been destroyed. It has returned to the bunker."

Just like that... no big boom or nothing.

I know I wasn't zapped by the orbital cannon.... nobody ever thinks I'm worth that much.

But seriously WTF happened?

I ended up changing sessions as I wasn't driving a regular semi all the way to LS. They are WAY slower than the MOC
