yep it's gta but i do agree that the cops get really aggressive even for the smallest of things, i've been shot and killed for just tapping their bumpers.

why do some players troll heists by killing you?

today i joined a random heist that you had to steal insurgents everyone in the lobby drove there in their armored kuruma (including me), i beat everyone there, on the first try we failed but on the second try one of the players knocked me and my armored kuruma out of the way.

i tried getting even by trying to pulling him out of the driver's seat of one of the insurgents but he ran me over and killed me, i quit after that.

^ I wish something was done about passive abusers and EWO abusers. *sigh* just don't give them attention and or stop playing with them. That's what I did. I'm not playing with these types anymore. They aren't worth my time.

Is there a strong counter-argument against making suicide count as a player-caused death? (since, technically, it is)

 

"But I need that in case I'm trapped in a store"

I'm a day-1 player and I've been trapped in a store TWICE. And I used the suicide option neither of those times. Getting trapped in a store is preventable (IO session) and there are other ways out of it (Find New Session, call Merryweather mercs then call the cops)

 

"But what if I fly into a building or fall and die from that?"

Tough s***, or 'Git gud', or leave those self-caused deaths alone and just make the Interaction Menu suicide option count as a kill.

 

"But what about using that to escape the cops' wanted levels?"

It's 2016; learn another way to get rid of your wanted level. Lester has an option, the CEO menu has an option, learn to escape and evade, learn the map so you can find places the cops can't follow you... and if you get killed by them it doesn't count against your precious K/D and it's not like getting your car out of impound is particularly challenging. $250 (if you're that poor, rob a store) and the Assistant can even do it for you.

 

"But muh K/D..."

F*** your K/D. In fact, f*** everyone's K/D. Delete the stat from everyone since there are umpteen ways to pad or fake it, anyway. It truly doesn't affect anyone's experience or gameplay. The environment doesn't care. There's no perks or penalties if it's high or lower. It's just something for players to look at and 95% of that is players looking at their own.

Now, I'm not actually advocating that Rockstar remove it. 1. they won't 2. the COD-metality lobby won't stand for it, and 3. the stat, in itself, doesn't harm anyone. It makes players that are douchebags act like bigger douchebags, and that's more of a personality flaw on them than anything on Rockstar's part.

 

Sorry if that sounds bitter, but I'm tired of people complaining about all the ways that the game gets exploited by K/D Snowflakes and I am having a real s*** day.

I don't hate K.D, I hate the breed of players it has bought about.

 

They should remove it from freeroam and have seperate K.Ds where it's actually relevant

 

Deathmatches etc.

Cheer up bud. It's not so bad. Everyone has good days and bad.

 

Regarding your comment I'm really not sure how to respond at all. Are you asking me a question or just ranting about my comment? Either way it doesn't matter. I don't know what the solution is or if it even needs one. I was just responding to that other guys post about how I feel similar towards passive. I'm sure I could come up with many options but I'm not going to... sorry if my comment hit a nerve.

 

That's really the only thing I ever bitch about, cheaters and passive EWO abusers. This is a great game it's the players bla bla bla I'm one of many people's complaints but that doesn't mean I can't have complaints too.

 

Suicide counts towards death sure. Can't go passive for 5 minutes after you kill someone or until they kill you the same amount of time? Maybe, I don't know. i don't have the answers. Sorry again if I'm not making sense I really didn't know how to approach this response.

 

Have a good rest of the evening, tomorrow is a new day. Everybody is going through something.

And it happened again. On my way to my Office, stumble upon a VIP Headhunter gone wrong, random white guy attacks me with a Buzzard, I fight back, he crashes, VIP comes by and kills the Target, he hires the white guy, they gang up on me, I retreat, they vote to kick me.

how many votes does it take to get kicked from the session?

Practically the whole room.

yes they should limit everything to once per lobby. So a person can only go into and out passive mode once then go to the next lobby.

yes they should limit everything to once per lobby. So a person can only go into and out passive mode once then go to the next lobby.

At this point I'd be ok with that. Players saying "what if I'm getting spawned killed and can't do anything" have other options now. Because of the newer ghost feature that I'm sure not many know about, passive can be limited.

 

I'd be ok with the one time use. You either want to fight or you don't. I'm sure nothing will ever change but I don't see a problem with talking about passive and possibly solutions that will most likely never be implemented.

I think the next highest rank becomes the leader or something along those lines.

I think the next highest rank becomes the leader or something along those lines.

It's whoever is next in the hierarchy. So if the leader leaves the commissioner takes the lead. If there is more then one commissioner the leader becomes whoever joined first out of the commissioners.

well i wanted to earn some money today but i was blown up in too different sessions doing sightseer. the first one, i got kicked from the session that broke just a few minutes before by the crew with the usss tag. why do people feel the need to blow me up in sightseer? like "this dude doing sightseer hurr durr, got to teach him a lesson hurr durr"
