I'm personally sick of the the amount of planes we are getting. I need more cars and bikes!

What, the first 50 updates full of them weren't enough for you? I'm sure you'll survive ONE update with planes in it.

 

Well it is called grand theft AUTO for a reason.

 

I'm sick of people like you thinking we need to like all the updates in this game. I didn't like a lot of them with the sh*t, random and frankly useless cars like the Viglantle for example. I'd prefer some nicer, simpler cars but I know it won't happen.

 

This game caters to f*cking kids with no taste or sense of realism now.

I still want some kind of gang warfare system. Turf wars and sh*t. But that can't happen now given all the ridiculous military weapons and vehicles.

 

Yeah...small arms deathmatches(no explosives).........creep on the other team's street with AK's & pistols........a forced hardcore mode would be sweet, too

Passive mode in armed aircraft. The most annoying goddamn thing in this game full of annoying goddamn things.

I prefer passive mode in armed aircraft so I dont have to see that goddamned machine gun dot or missile square obstructing my view

I guess GTA is a "one size fits all"-kind of deal. It's made to cater to many different tastes.. I certainly would wish for a more realistic, gritty kind of online experience with not as many super cars for example. But at the same time, I mostly drive supers nowadays because, well, speed and agility mostly

 

In the early days of GTAO (2013-2014) I played this game more like an RPG. Every upgrade on every car I had back then felt like it had huge significance. If R* would have proposed flying motorbikes back then I would probably have stopped playing immediately. I would never even think of buying the Vigilante.

 

It took me a looong time before I decided to buy the Kuruma, mostly to be able to use it during Heists and setups. I never drive it in free roam. Why would i? I don't want to look like no pussy on the LS streets. No, no.. I prefer having the odds against me. Driving a regular motorcycle, shotgunning opponents.

 

Anyway. What I really wanted to say was; I hope R* has got other "genres" in mind. Maybe an online experience with the more "grounded" feel of, say, LA Noire in contrast to the "cartoony/arcady" feel of GTA Online.

 

I really, really hope they don't throw a flying motorcycle/rainbow unicorn/dildo melee weapon into every game from now on, but limit it to GTA. And make a grittier, more "realistic" kind of game further down the line. GTA is after all supposed to be a little goofy. Not Saints Row kind of goofy though (that would be absolutely terrible).

 

GTA IV had a much more grounded feel in that sense, I think.

 

Also; the reason why I really came here was because I wanted to spew my hatred for the NPCs in traffic who INDISCRIMINATELY just drive straight out in front of you when you're doing IE missions!!!! I f*cking hate being a car thief in LS, but oh I love it too because it pays so well. But I mean, christ, they literally change lanes right in front of you when you're speeding in 200 km/h. Who does that?!

 

Cops have no sense of self-preservation. They try and stop you by going straight at you like homing missiles with complete disdain for their own well being. It's crazy! LS traffic is nuts. Some cars even drive out right in front of you and then promptly STOP.

I'm playing dogfight and almost every fight has ended in someone crashing their jet to the ground. How the f*ck can you be so bad at piloting. After the first round of miserable f*ck ups my first game of dogfight ended in me getting kicked to SP. GG C*

These KD/R pole-stroker losers who will spend 3 hours in a session hanging around outside everything I do simply because I killed them ONE time and they weren't able to kill me again need to get lives or end theirs.

I literally sat with my girlfriend laughing for hours as this inflated 2.88 K/DR phony kid loser stalked me everywhere on the map, everything I did, and NEVER killed me. I had him muted so he couldn't complain either.

It was quite hilarious, trolling this piece of trash, but man what in the hell is wrong with people like that?

Yeah, I can understand hitting towers and other such protruding obstacles because they can sometimes be hard to see(especially those stupid grey power poles that blend in with the ground), but you should not be crashing into the ground itself.

A combination of lag between the NPC vehicles "easy mode" script at a distance, and it's transition to close-up script. And, the random excessive speed transition that occurs on the interstate with NPCs and with it also being a slippery road. Edited November 10, 2017 by Semaj 2JZ♢

So I've finally had enough time to try out Dogfight, and it seems to have brought out the worst pilots ever. How hard is it to at least retract the landing gear and swap to the machine guns every once in a while?

 

I'm going to deny the existence of this mode and pretend that Stockpile was the true Dogfight mode.

My today's bitch and moan is, again, about other people. Because other people are terrible and suck and should stuck themselves in wheelchairs and go live in Tasmania instead of playing this or any other game.

 

A friend invites me over to his session to do MC missions with him and his MC Club friends. It takes him ages to start the mission, during which time one of these punks drives around throwing pipe bombs. I eat a bomb, thrown at me gods know why and I die. f*ck that, I am out.

 

That friend later on joins me in my empty session. A level 304 guy f*cks up a simple vehicle delivery mission by alerting the driver in the car, starting a police chase after the car. It takes me a long, long time to catch up to the car, ice the driver and then deliver the car. 12k in repairs, time lost and my already weak mental state further damaged. f*cking dumb person.

 

Some time after that fa**ot friends of that guy join the session. Despite me and him being acquaintances, they make it their mission to destroy the car I am delivering. They blow it right before I enter the warehouse. I would punch that person repeatedly if I could.

 

This one is good, really. I join the Humane Lab Raid heist. Everything goes well until the part where the ground team, me and other guy, are supposed to jump into the cooling tunnel. I dive and swim, the other guy stays behind. Three minutes later he says "what do" and dies because of drowning. Gets into the Top Five greatest fails I've seen in this game.

 

And all of this happened in one evening.

 

I do not feel guilty about emptying sessions, possibly disrupting other player's activities, not anymore. f*ck other people.

Lately if i play the game i mostly play with a friend that uses ip filter in his router settings and he is always host. It`s easy i tell him my WAN-IP he puts it into the whitelist and i am in a absolutely random free session for hours with him and his friends. He can activate or deactivate the ip filter at all times if there are randoms in the session he can just activate it and boom their all gone and all on the whitelist stay in the session. This is the best way to play in "public" sessions. It`s nice having an idiot filter.

I'd do that if I were living alone - I am not so I don't want to mess with router for fear of other family members being unable to connect/having other Internet issues. Instead I use the program suggested to me in this thread, http://gtaforums.com/topic/899147-can-i-keep-other-players-out-of-my-session-split-solo-session/. Less friend-friendly, as it removes everyone else from the session, my friend (the cool one, not that dumbass) included, but otherwise it's very effective and simple to use.

I didn't even hit anybody! Or do anything... just driving.

Doing this only works so-so for me, because if I stop it a few seconds to long, I get kicked from session as well.
