Which is pretty f*cky because the Heists update brought GTA from the brink, and there was no PvP. None. No drip feed, no mememobiles or adversary modes.

 

Just a story driven co-op experience with limitations. But, since heists don't earn sharkcards, they're "too difficult to make again".

Now that you mention Heists, I'm pretty sure that was the actual last DLC with new awards added. Freemode Events removed both old ones and the older events that, at least from what I can see from video records, much more fun and actually made sense within the game world, instead of the more arcade-y ones we have now that I certainly don't bother with. Think I remember reading, from someone, that the response support gave to their question if older events were ever to return was that they had been replaced with "more fun ones". I... don't quite agree with that notion. But this does indeed seem to fit with what Imran Sarwar said in that recent interview.

 

Oh, and Heists also gave the Criminal Mastermind Challenge that rewarded you with 10 million dollars, together with other awards that raised that to 12 million if you did them all at once. Yet another source of great memories for me that rewarded true skill, cooperation and understanding between team mates. I'll always remember my team and their names, but I tend to forget the countless freemode clashes I had with toxic people with way too much time on their hands. I bet Rockstar deeply regrets dishing that much money for a single task.

Hi All

 

I recently found out about the M2 Weapons. I play deathmatch and pretty much ignore every update. But it started while playing TDM and getting killed by a different type on explosive. At first I thought it was the compact grenade launcher. Went to the store, bought it, used it. This thing is garbage, this is not whats killing me.

 

Finally, Explosive Sniper Rounds. I Need these, How do I get them? Google it

 

 

Here is where I say the M2 weapons are Bull$hit!!!

(remember, I play deathmatch and pretty much ignore every update.)

 

Mobile Operation Truck-1.5mil

Bunker-1.5mil

Bunker Upgrade staff-(3) Around 2mil

Become a CEO- 1mil

Research Supplies Avg $50,000 per unlock $2,550,000 (not even factoring Fast Tracking)

(I could steal them but, I don't have time)

$8,550,000 and we haven't even bought any weapons yet

 

I then learn, you can only hold a micro amount of ammo. Ammo the costs $$$$!!

 

 

It costed so much and you can hold so little, it is literally pointless. Like WTF Exposive Sniper Rounds are $362 a shot, so don't miss.

 

 

Lastly, The fact that you can't hold the M2 and the Stock is Bull$hit, Especially with the Heavy Sniper

Oh, man, do I feel ya. I hate to have to point out the obvious in this case; doing a little more research on the costs/process of getting Mk2's, or just avoiding "owned" weapons matches altogether. Because, I truly respect those who keep their PvP to T/DM's. But, yeah, the paywall is way too high and it is really blatant with how it greatens the divide between the haves and have nots, of GTAO, just to stay competitive.

 

And they want to talk in an interview how they can't be accused of "gouging" the consumer...which consumer, exactly? Because, at literally every turn, there is a significant cost to literally EVERYTHING (I've noticed it is currently costing me 12.5k every consecutive 48 minutes/1 in game day, I'm playing , just to be there)...I suppose if you just want to live out of your stock, stolen car, with no insurance. In a pair of uber short shorts, flip flops and a sleeveless. Only play missions, that don't require much more ammo than the only free pistol your enemies ever drop, races or parachute drops every time you log-on. You may then, feel like it doesn't cost much to play GTAO...

 

Also, damn these current LSC sales reducing the value of the vehicles I'm trying to sell...

MKII weapons can't even be dropped like regular weapons, I used to give Heavy Sniper and Combat MG(from yacht) to low levels, and drop regular ammo, the expensive Homing Launcher ammo...etc But R* prevented this to happen with MKII update.

Yes LJT I am acutely aware MC buisness "X" is full. Can you not f*cking call and auto answer every time I am battling other players? I just took 3 rockets up the ass from an Oppressor rider I was oppressing thanks to not being able to deploy flares.

 

Speaking of which, I don't mind the BS points but seriously if someone is in a vehicle that goes pew-pew and you make it go boom, it shouldn't cost you $20K.

Normally I wouldn't be worried because I've never glitched. Mostly cause I'm not up to date on that stuff until it's been patched, like the hooker glitch and wasn't smart enough to make Chradders.

But the whole people on PC getting banned for no reason or reset thing has me worried.

 

I got almost 40 million GTA dollars..... it's pretty evident from my level and playtime I have that much money legitimately.

I did go ahead and buy the Nokota, Seabreeze, and Dune FAV(Cause of sale). If I'm getting my money taken away, might as well buy the things I won't buy if I'm stuck grinding away for it.

I'm not being a retard and making Vig bonds. If I'm not reset I just lose 20 mil for no good reason, I'll just sell the dozens of super cars I never use to buy the new content.

Why can't you refill your special ammo in a friend or other CEO's MC?!

I don't tend to keep track of how much explosive ammo I have, mostly cause I barely use it.

But it seems it is always gone whenever I'm working with somebody... or does go away because I shot a jet or some other armed vehicle down from the sky for trying to mess with them.

And you can't use your OWN MC while working for somebody else.... but you can enter another person's and see the gun store but can NOT interact with it....

 

It's annoying having to message my friend 'I'm going to refill my sniper' and have to quit just to get more ammo.

I like the inconvenience of having to use your MC, but it can get annoying have to use your OWN

I still want some kind of gang warfare system. Turf wars and sh*t. But that can't happen now given all the ridiculous military weapons and vehicles.
