I personnally don't care much about R* invitation to PvP...objectively I don't have time to run after a dude for $2.000 when I've myself stuff to do that earn 10x or 100x more.

 

I like to destroy Armored Boxville with Savage though, because its quick, I really earn some money, like Headhunter, and I fundamentally hate that ugly vehicle. The first time I did that, I was myself surprised I would be rewarded with more than 10k.

People don't hate your playstyle, people hate that your playstyle affects negatively other players.

 

Have you ever seen in most lobbies, near Burton, there's always a lot of players WILLINGLY killing each other? Those are always looking for a fight and yeah, most of them use every single dirty trick in the book but it's not like a jet's death beams are the most balanced thing in the game. You can freely rain death from above on them and they will don't mind.

 

Sure, all freemode work is an invitation to PvP, but the thing is that there's no other choice aside from hiding in private public sessions by exploits (which is an oximoron). No one likes losing hours of effort to an Hydra.

 

If you want to blame someone, blame R* for lumping together both PvP and PvE crowds on purpose. Not all players welcome the idea of being spawn killed by jets, Oppresors or whatever just because the game told them to.

 

And no, saying "it's just a game" in a tought bro tone its not going to get you sympathy, aside from the usual PvPholics here.

About your second point, well, some people don't know about solo sessions or whatever, which may be understandable as the game still gets new players.

I played Come out to Play for the first time ever last night.

To start off, the Hunters can NEVER leave the Sanchez and are armed with a short ranged weapon... a shotgun! Anybody with ears can hear the Sanchez coming and lock onto it with auto aim but guess what? Hunters are stuck with Free Aim!

I'm disappointed they have a 70% approval ratio. Are the people upvoting them retarded? Or just love getting on the side that gets a good boost to their K/D?

SANDBOX game - anyone can play how they want dumba$$ never once did I say I owned anything. I just kill players when I'm on. Since their are so many modders online I intend on dealing with it myself with my own mod menu which I didn't want to resort to using but left me with no choice to use it from now on. In truth I don't rage like some petulant child when dealing with modders or script kiddies, I usually just leave session and start over.

 

So please tell me again how a terrible person I am for playing how I want and how I choose? Some players have to deal with the occasional strafing? Yes. That's a normal day on GTA Online.

 

While sometimes it frustrates the sh*t out of me how people want to take the easy route of mods. I'm done with rockstar support. Mod menu from now on.

I haven't been following the argument closely, but I would say it's hard to say that someone using a mod menu has some kind of moral high-ground over him, regardless of whether he's in a jet or other attack vehicle.

 

The first to cheat is the first who loses that to be honest, whether that's through mods, or misusing passive mode/EWO/etc.

 

Myself personally, I steal air freight and vehicle cargo. People don't pay for those, and they give me a decent pay, so I see no problem with it. I rarely blow up cargo, and if I do I'm under no illusion that I'm not just doing it to troll people.

 

My biggest targets as someone who does PvP - they're actually Oppressors, and anyone I see killing themselves over and over, or who just has a tryhard vibe about them.

I am really getting sick and fed up with being punished for how I choose to play. I want to pvp on this game and by the developers design, I going fkcing PvP. Just because all of these motherfckers don't like it gives them all no reason to boot me from the game or use a mod menu against me because I kill players on a weekly basis.

 

I kill people using a jet or a type of aircraft. So fcking what?! Its a game. I destroy someone's product I get paid. Stop being a whiny little btch about it and take it like a man/woman or find another lobby to play in alone in. I'm fcking sick and tired of being silenced on the forums by mods that disagree with my play style. GTAO isn't supposed to be some fcking game where we all are supposed to sing kumbuya and hold hands.

SANDBOX game - anyone can play how they want dumba$$ never once did I say I owned anything. I just kill players when I'm on. Since their are so many modders online I intend on dealing with it myself with my own mod menu which I didn't want to resort to using but left me with no choice to use it from now on. In truth I don't rage like some petulant child when dealing with modders or script kiddies, I usually just leave session and start over.

 

So please tell me again how a terrible person for playing how I want and how I choose? Some players have to deal with the occasional strafing? Yes. That's a normal day on GTA Online.

 

While sometimes it frustrates the sh*t out of me how people want to take the easy route of mods. I'm done with rockstar support. Mod menu from now on.

Everyone has their own idea of a tryhard anyway.

 

For some people, it's anyone who does PvP, which I think is very narrow-minded. To me, a tryhard is the kind of guy who'll blow himself up a million times in a second, just to protect the score the game tells him he has. He's someone who might be quite good, but doesn't measure up to the best players who play relatively clean, so tries too hard by using every cheap trick in the book.

 

Whether you count aircraft in that is up to the individual person. I'd say it's situational.

 

Someone who just does PvP? They don't necessarily care about K/D (I don't) and don't necessarily do any of the sketchier stuff.

 

Who cares anyway? It's easy to get a solo session to do PvE in if you don't want to fight. I do that whenever I have a really big sale that I don't want to risk losing. Other times with smaller sales, I'll risk it for the high demand bonus.
