Alright, I haven't bitch n' moaned for a while now.. but I do have some issues right now.

 

I haven't been interested in GTA at all for the last 6 months, it just hasn't pulled me in like it used to. The only time I would ever get on is when a drip feed vehicle dropped. I would buy it, customize it, drive it for a minute and then get off to play a different game. Usually a total of 5 minutes spent on GTA at most..

 

The updates are okay, the vehicles are awesome, but I just lose interest so fast. I only get on to spend my money I've saved up over 3 years. And this update REALLY put a dent in my bank account lol

 

That's the thing, this sh*t costs SO much. It's really not worth it either. I have enough GTA cash saved for 2 more updates like this, after that, I'm dead broke. And I have ZERO interest in grinding to save money again. Unfotunately GTA:O just isn't my thing anymore.. I don't feel like playing/making money in the game and after I'm dead broke I'm probably going to stop playing altogether. I think I just need a change of scenery.. and that's RDR2. I just hope that RDR:O isn't the grindfest that GTA:O is. If it is.. I have no interest in it.. I don't have the time, nor the patience to save RDR/GTA dollars to buy expensive ingame items/properties. Rockstar Games was my favorite developer, now it's Naughty Dog.

 

I'm still excited for RDR:O but.. I sure as hell hope it isn't a GTA:O 2..

 

 

 

This update is ridiculous:

-1k insurance charges for blowing up personal aircrafts;
-Bad sport points for blowing up personal aircrafts;
-Bonus on blowing up other smuggling goods, promotes griefing behavior;
-Hangar is way too expensive with upgrades;
-Homing rocket launcher is buffed;
-No countermeasures for civilian aircrafts;
-The most interesting vehicles are dripfeed.

 

I actually thought the Hangars were reasonably priced. Personally thought they would cost much, much more.

I second that. That and, from what I can tell, it seems to be just a mix of MC and CEO. No upgrades needed for your hangar and you can mod your aircrafts right then and there without researches.

Oh yeah, there are a few positives with this update. That being no researching, and being able to upgrade everything in the hangar. I do love the hangar for sure!

Here's 3 things that R* has been doing recently that piss me off:

-releasing some of the DLC content in a span of a few weeks instead of all at once

-locking some of the activities like MC businesses, import/export or gunrunning only to public session (which was always full of griefers in armed/armored vehicles,now more than ever)

-making some vehicles need a hangar to store instead of Pegasus,or MOC (which itself needs a bunker to store) to customize instead of LSC,just to make us waste money on those stuff too

Until Low Riders, all updates had no drip feed whatsoever, and we stuck around the game nicely without any problems with that.

No armor upgrades. No engine upgrades for the slower planes. Nada. A waste of 1.15 mil, I say.

 

This is exactly why I asked for a refund from Rockstar (and believe or not, they actually went through and gave me the 2.35 mil refund from purchasing the Hangar and Workshop). Excuse me while I go back to Import/Export

Two games that have an immersive open map and atmosphere, where youre open to explore but at the same time it has edge of your seat action: .:

 

Tom Clancys The DIvision, esp Survival DLC. and its Legendary missions.(3d person character just like GTA 5, and it has the best emotes)

 

I also enjoyed 7 Days to Die. which is like an adult Minecraft on crack. (1st person) Its those two games that occupied me when I got tired of the Rockstar Grind

hmm....while it never happened to me before, i seen last time long before the update, a guy with similar crating issue (only for him the crates won't just drop or at least gone yet the mission won't progress)

At first I understood the concept of drip-feeding, and while annoying, it wasn't too long before we had all the content available (a few weeks at most) but now this is just plain ridiculous.

 

First with Gunrunning, they stretched this f*cker out for almost two months and a half until they could release another DLC. But now with Smuggler's Run, it seems most of the compelling content is being drip-feed, and for how long? They have enough content spared to release one vehicle a week until 2018. Way to keep me excited and invested in a game when I know one of the vehicles I want the most will probably be released on f*cking christmas.

 

Seriously, just what the hell have they done to this franchise? Lmao.

So while dealing with a Griefer, The A.I do something, odd.

 

Then RNG-Jesus gives my friend NightFox a Powerplay in the form of the MOC that never was, but yet is (We found out that the game left it in the Bunker, yet at the same time somehow he was driving it, and unkillable).

 

Griefer (Who was a Rocket Bike jockey and blew up our supplies and my MK1 Escort) Rage quit within a few minutes of failing to get a kill.

1. Hunter is unavailable probably until Christmas;
2. Molotok sucks because there are no explosive cannons, FL-22 is a really useless freak with crippled flying mechanic, Rogue is only valuable in dogfighting with abnormally inaccurate explosive MGs and laughable rate of fire, don't even f*cking try to shoot ground targets with it after Hydra. Tula is just an over-sized Dodo with VTOL and no pilot-usable countermeasures armed with a rear-locked pea-shooter. Crap from Elitas page is not even worth mentioning, that's pure reskins. Do not buy anything unless you try!
3. Hangar "business" is pure philanthropy: sale is 10k per item, no way to purchase supplies, laptop is on a f*cking second floor to make sure you're proficient in running, sales are competing with Coke in how boring it is to do them. Goddamn, even contact missions are more profitable than this crap! Until Hunter is released, I'm not even stepping in my 5.5 mil Hangar. Buy the cheapest one, only do missions if you want trade prices for some stuff you want and don't even try making money with it!
4. Cargo is f*cking glitched! I dropped my shipment above the Hangar and it got stuck in the air! Earlier in the same mission I unglued the same box from the air with a Heavy sniper.

Tl:DR: planes sucks, Hunter is dripfed content, hangar is a scam. If R* tried to actually keep us immersed with dripfeed, they achieved quite the opposite: I literally won't touch GTA for don't know how long.

today i played the new dlc but before that i tried the new mode (it was fun) but i didn't do very well since i didn't know the pistol it gave me had explosive ammo but before i could to round 2 the game crashed with an error saying it couldn't restart, thanks r*.

these prices are just getting worse and worse. it is just absolutely ridiculous to charge anything more than 1 million for anything in the game. i am not going to grind out 5 million. i play video games for 8+ hours a day, ~4 hours for GTA and STILL it is difficult to earn the money for this crap. if anything, i am going to be playing GTA even LESS because of this BS. if r* is going to pull this then i have no problem at all spending more time on other games instead. there is no point in making content that can only be purchased by people who 1. hacked for their billions, 2. rich irl who have no problem blowing thousands on shark cards, or 3. spend two entire weeks grinding out the cash to buy whatever the hell that 5 million plane is. so far this dlc is useless to me. i spent 2.2 million to recolor my hydra, thats it. and whats even worse is that they dedicate 100% of their time to making new dlc and not a single second fixing any of the boatload of problems that have existed since day one. GTA VI sure as hell better be worlds better than this, and they better take their time to make sure it happens.

 

dont know why they called it smugglers run either, it is almost completely unrelated to the actual smugglers run games. this is a total shame to the smugglers run name.

I helped a friend with this new smuggler stuff, didn't make more than 40k in 2 hours as an associate, also due to the fact that after a while in this same lobby I get charged for "cleaning" my office and my mechanic "who sh*t boss can't get over here" on this dirt road only two steps away from civilization.
