what is still my main bitching is r* adding the oppressor which has now become the griefer vehicle of choice.

It's very useful while resupplying and is so fun to use. But It probably shouldn't have lock-on missiles, though.

The default minigun is useless. I think the inventory is enough. You can still blow up vehicles with the compact grenade launcher. You can still aim and shoot with the other weapons.

But I guess it's part of military toys, errm I mean Weaponized Vehicles so they had to give it some sort of "weapon".

It's probably the only case in which "Don't hate the game, hate the player" counts.

but it's still popular with the griefers it's one of the reasons i'm starting to regret ever buying the ceo office, the oppressor griefers seem to attack me and then fly away.

There's a glitch where it makes it lighter and allows you to never fall off, so it's becoming even more OP and common now.

It's flipping stupid we still can't use anything but smgs and pistol in a car, in rl they use what ever they want.

I want to use my compact rifle, sweeper shotgun, sawed-off shotgun, double berraled shotgun, mp 5, smg mk 2.

Would not be op, since you know the game is unbalanced anyway...

Sell coke, get one plane. After the second drop off, the screen goes black for 30 seconds and I respawn at the beach with a message saying Enter The Plane. Half a second later I get a message that the sale failed.

What the f*ck?

Were you by any chance near paleto bay?

If so, welcome to grand theft bug. There is a bug going on the paleto bay that teleports people back to the shore. Rockstar knows about it but they have not fixed it (and probaby will not fix it).

There is a teleport bug near Paleto Bay during coke sell mission. It allows players to keep both the stock and the cash from the sale, ultimately serving as infinite money glitch. Don't tell anyone or R* will fix it.

Also, why not be able to use an RPG whilst in a car? You can use it in a helicopter, so why not in a car? I get a sick kill by firing an RPG from a helicopter:

Imagine doing the same when in a car as the passenger.

I dont think you could shoot a rifle while driving...youd have to support the rifle with your hand on a steering wheel...if you could do all that youd still just be spraying bullets in no particular direction.

I was trying to figure what the hell the knuckleduster shirt was all about. To me it just looked like a black shirt with dots where the pocket should be. It wasnt making sense so I googled it and it turns out its an actual shirt they are selling on Rock*.com. Now I thought that was kinda cool idea but what the hell the little knuckledusters are so small you cant even tell what they are in the game. They just look like smudged dots. If it had said Rockstar Knuckleduster tshirt I would have known immediately like the other Rock* shirts. I would never buy a video game tshirt ever in my life but the idea is clever I guess.

It's part of their "Summer Collection", they are releasing some real shirts throughout this summer and when they do, they also release them in game. There is actually quite a following for Rockstar merchandise.

As long as it's a convertible why not lol, it's not like it would be op still. As long as we have the MK 2 Heavy with boom rounds i don't see why we can't stop the stand up and fire an rpg lol.

Its worth getting an office, even if you don't want to run crates or do IE, it will open up VIP work whenever you want & give you some very useful abilities, for a million gta$

Bikers I don't do much, Making my weed farm pay for itself, then help me towards the cash for an office and car warehouse kinda burned me out. But I like my clubhouse, a big grungy desert apartment with bike storage & I also enjoy doing the biker contracts.

I know what you mean though, I still do a lot of things the old way. I still have nights where I will just do contact missions, just races, or a mix of the two. I also considered going back to 360 because...no dumb magic flying bikes, no explosive hitscan rocket launcher with insane range, or magic thermal sight which does things no thermal sight can do.

Longer term I have my fingers crossed that the Benz's new game works out. If he means what he says he seems to have a very different outlook to the one R* are pursuing now, he seems to be a lot more player focussed. And what he's aiming to deliver is a game which gives us options like we have never had before, letting us interact as much or as little as we want. Letting us create our own adventures instead of 'limited pre scripted' adventures thought out two years before.

If he delivers I will wave bye bye to GTA & to C* - they gave us a lot of great games & fun times....but they have become the kind of cynical, cash grab, un-creative developer they used to ridicule

But that's the thing: why can't R* put out something for people who don't want to be friggin' CEOs and own offices? :/

At least with things like Cunning Stunts, you don't have to own a racing car to be able to take part - if the RE-7B isn't your thing, you can just race in something like an Entity, and do just fine, or you can race with custom vehicles turned off. That content isn't locked away if you don't like any of the Cunning Stunts cars and don't want to buy them - you can just use stock cars, or whatever things you do like/own. Same with Lowriders - you can still do the missions, even without owning a Lowrider, which is just fine if you don't really like those cars.

But things like ANY of the new Freemode businesses? There's only three flavours, currently: corporate stooge, biker, and wannabe Bond villain. If none of those are to your tastes, tough luck - and with a Gunrunning sequel apparently on the way, R*'s not exactly in any rush to add more variety to Freemode, are they?

Same with the endless high-end cars - if you like regular cars, you're pretty screwed, because unless you like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, etc., you're mostly out of luck. Stuff like a Plymouth Fury, or a Subaru BRZ, or any number of cars that are the kinds of things regular folk can afford and drive in the real world? Nope - everyone has to worship at the altar of the 1%, because R* apparently thinks that's all GTAO players are interested in. :bored:

I miss unassuming, street-level stuff. I miss realism. I miss being able to pick and choose how I enjoy the game. And yeah, I really hope that Bingus and co. are aiming at something more like that with 'Everywhere' - from a lot of the early talk, it really does sound like it's an evolution of the 'do anything you want in a highly-interactive world' side of GTA. But I kinda miss that kind of freedom of choice in GTAO, and I just want R* to deliver more than just the same few dead nags they've been flogging into purée for the last year+...

Yes you could, firing one handed with a rifle is not hard, and you fire the compact rifle with one handed on a bike, and its based off a a rl pistol.

Kind of what drive by are, spray and pray....

It feels like one of those no-brainer things for a CEO.

If I shoot your stablilisers or tail rotor off and you crash into the ground and die a horrible death, I KILLED YOU. But no, in Rockstar world, "31337J3tH4xx0r died".

but let's not forget when you send mercs after another player but he or she get's killed by another random player and merryweather takes credit for it instead of refunding your gta $$$??

if they did add a car based on the plymouth fury i would hope it would be based on the 1958 model so we could make it look like christine as much as possible.:^:

I got two emails from Nigerian scammers today.

The first one is trying to get me to buy an MOC even though I already have one.

The second one is trying to trick me to buy "discounted" stuff that isn't actually discounted.

I really need a spam filter for my email.

I am salty about promised discounts that aren't there though, even if I don't plan on getting any of this.

Yeah - I've got my Tornado in movie-accurate colours, but it's just not the same... :p

'58 Belvedere/Fury mix (splitting the difference between the novel and the movie, and making a hybrid of the two, which are very similar cars anyway):

Christine0080.jpg

...meanwhile, the other Fury I wouldn't mind seeing is the '74 Fury sedan - ideally blended with the closely-related '74 Dodge Monaco:

I would like to see Burglary again, could own a strip/hooker business like in GTA Vice City Stories like Vic does, and a Cleaning business and i don't mean homes and cloths but for removing bodies, car's with evidence in them like drugs or other stuff by taking it out to the desert, LS river and burning it, same for planes, burning stuff in a building like papers and other stuff.

Could make 10,000 to 30,000, from making sure the evidence is gone, could storm a police HQ to steal from them and so on.

I've been replaying GTA III lately, and it's driven home how much I miss things like Vigilante/Firefighter/Paramedic missions - even in single-player, the only one of those left is Taxi Driver. :/

Throw in other 'minigame'-style things like Distract Cops or armoured truck robberies that R* removed from GTAO (to add unrealistic arcade-y minigames like 'Hunt the Beast' with Freemode Events), and ...yeah. :dontgetit:

If it's not 'uber-rich criminal mastermind' stuff, it's wacky nonsense - I'm only ever more frustrated by how street-level stuff (be it clothing, vehicles, or activities) are totally ignored these days, and that's the sort of thing that I'd really need more of to get properly enthusiastic about GTAO again.

I would like to see Burglary again, could own a strip/hooker business like in GTA Vice City Stories like Vic does, and a Clear business and i don't mean homes and cloths but for removing bodies, car's with evidence in them like drugs or other stuff by taking it out to the desert, LS river and burning it, same for planes, burning stuff in a building like papers and other stuff.

I don't mind wacky if it's not done stupidly like they seem to be doing now, fly flying bikes come on its stupid...or the MK 2 Heavy with boom rounds in it...would be different if this gta was set in 2075 or something..

Wacky like when Rider is yelling at the guy sleeping in the house before C.J. goes in or when Big Smoke is ordering food in that one mission, or half the things in Vice City. It's funny things in them but now they are cheap crap they use to whore there game out to brain dead kids...........

I'm with you. I kinda miss the street hustle side, when the biggest regular threat was someone with a faster car & a better gun than you. That's why I will have those nights of just hitting contact missions, and even leaving the kuruma in the garage to do it the hard way. Same with more regular type cars, I'd like to see more muscle cars, that sort of stuff. I've been OK lately though because I do like me some sports classics.

The main reason I went CEO was for the abilities, which can be a big help at times. IE is a good earner, but I get fed up after 4-5 cars. I do like some of the VIP work though.

I guess I gave up on R* it just became clear that they don't give a damn about anything but those card sales & whatever they think will generate more. Look at the near abandonment of PVE stuff! Until IV multiplayer GTA was all about PVE. There are less contact missions now than there were years ago.

I said in another topic that R* has become the kind of developer they used to mock, and they really have. I don't see GTA ever going back to what it once was. So I try to make the best of it & hope that a good alternative comes along.

Cackling Jack

Only reason i'm still playing this fking game is my good friends and dope as crew. If I didn't have those this game would be uninstalled and shelved to collect dust.

That Scarface game for PS2 had a cell phone, Johnny on the spot and let you fire shotguns and grenade launchers out of a car.

That game had it's moments lol, like the school girl assassin lol.....that was funny when i unlocked that with her driving her muscle car.

I loved the whole trunk were you could change out weapons, I think gta sa was going to have something like that but they cut, they should bring that back really. I think it would add so much really, could just pull over and switch out weapons.
