The only things that I like about the recent updates is all the classic cars from older GTA games and cars like the Torero and the GP1. Those are cars from my childhood...

 

But R*, in R* fashion, had to f*ck it up putting the Turismo Classic, Infernus Classic and Cheetah Classic in the Sports Classics class lmao.

 

At least the Torero actually belongs there, kinda.

Also, I miss the smaller updates we used to get back in 2013-2015. I'd love to have another "I'm not a hipster" style update. New, not a bunch of re-skinned clothing that isn't made to just fit one model (both female and male) would also be great. Some items don't really fit well shared between the two, just looks boxy and ugly.

I'm just waiting for an update with ...stuff for me to enjoy.

 

The last time an update came out where I was genuinely happy, and enjoyed it without reservation? Ill-Gotten Gains, over two years ago - ever since, my average experience with updates has been reduced to either 'one half-decent car that I'm not massively into, but it'll do', or 'nothing at all'.

I'm amazed I'm still playing, frankly - most people who want specific things added are still playing with things like bunkers, CEO work, etc., so they're at least getting something new to do, even if it's not what they want. Me? I'm virtually at the same point as when Heists came out - no office, no clubhouse, no nothing.

 

Almost feels like I could have saved money and stayed on last-gen, because if I'd just stuck on Xbox 360 for the last two years, my day-to-day GTAO experience wouldn't have been that much different to how 2016 and 2017 have actually panned out. Except, of course, I'd have more realistic expectations, and thus no disappointment/frustration at everything that's happened - and even avoided a couple of the small things R* screwed up since abandoning last-gen consoles.

 

 

...at this rate, I might just fire up the 360, and enjoy the old-school GTAO experience for what it was - sure, it's not going to get any better than that, but at least it's not steadily getting worse...

Its worth getting an office, even if you don't want to run crates or do IE, it will open up VIP work whenever you want & give you some very useful abilities, for a million gta$

 

Bikers I don't do much, Making my weed farm pay for itself, then help me towards the cash for an office and car warehouse kinda burned me out. But I like my clubhouse, a big grungy desert apartment with bike storage & I also enjoy doing the biker contracts.

 

I know what you mean though, I still do a lot of things the old way. I still have nights where I will just do contact missions, just races, or a mix of the two. I also considered going back to 360 because...no dumb magic flying bikes, no explosive hitscan rocket launcher with insane range, or magic thermal sight which does things no thermal sight can do.

 

Longer term I have my fingers crossed that the Benz's new game works out. If he means what he says he seems to have a very different outlook to the one R* are pursuing now, he seems to be a lot more player focussed. And what he's aiming to deliver is a game which gives us options like we have never had before, letting us interact as much or as little as we want. Letting us create our own adventures instead of 'limited pre scripted' adventures thought out two years before.

 

If he delivers I will wave bye bye to GTA & to C* - they gave us a lot of great games & fun times....but they have become the kind of cynical, cash grab, un-creative developer they used to ridicule

Is there anything other than the Hvy Insurgent 1 delivery or 5 drops-Merryweather ambush for 1 vehicle? Getting a bit tedious doing the same delivery and don't want to push into 2+ vehicle sales.

If you're in the marsh its because of the Alien mission. They don't let you use the editor here because of... reasons.

It's better than getting the single Dune FAV that's for sure. You can also get a single phantom wedge or a Marshall monster truck but that's where it ends. Also, I specifically hate that 5 drop off Merryweather interference sale so fkn much.

Its definitely has pathfinding issues...I often have to get out the turret and find the NPC who are blocked somewhere and finish them with the AR.

 

Its not noticeable regarding some drop offs, while for some others it looks so amateurish , I feel like a beta-tester or something.

To anyone who has been doing bikers for a fair while, does it seem to you, like R* have messed with the sale missions for post ops to you?

 

I helped someone last night & while the post van delivery has always been a pain in the backside, this one was whole other level bs.

 

I used to do MC, I had my share of these sales, but to me it seemed the drop off points were even more spread out than they used to be. There is NO WAY someone could have done that 2 van sale solo. The highest point, last road with houses of Rockford hills, le mesa, the far end of chumash, Davis, and Vespucci. That was the run I did.

 

Like I say, I hated those crappy sadistic post van sales when I did MC, they were bad....just never as bad as that lot.

 

You can just imagine some dick at R* thinking, ya know what would be funny? Spreading the delivery spots out from le mesa to the far end of chumash. Then someone else chipping in with, yeah & what about making them take all those winding roads all the way up to the top of Rockford hills....in a Post op van!!! LOLZ

Oh they weren't a friend, just a low level I felt sorry for, so I thought I would do a good deed & lend a hand. I remembered how frustrating it was to have a multi vehicle sale but none of my friends online to help me out.

 

But that is the last damn time I ever do a post op delivery, ditto for trash masters.
