I hate getting kicked back to stupid story mode, why can't there be a retry button. Most games have one, idk why they don't add one, it's a pain waiting for story mode to load before you can try again.....I flipping hate story mode.

i find it funny asf when T2 go to serve a C&D to cut out the modding, yet it was those same fckn modders that were building you all that hype for GR

 

instead of trying to punish these ppl, they should start offering jobs to them XD all these fan made trailers are like 100x better than these little snipits that R* and T2 put out

 

idk im no modder, but i think adding restrictions to a single player game mode doesnt help your game sales (or your precious shark card sales)

 

and the dumb part about it is, for the most part, people mod things into their game because they know that C* is gunna pitch their sh*tty buisness practices

exclusive new cars coming to online, with some new clothing, as well as some new guns

 

yet here are the people on story mode that have to just kick rocks aft 4 years and still no SP expansions? not even a murmur,

 

and then T2 & R* get pissed cause people end up modding their game, but in all reality if R* would just cater a bit more to their online community instead of where ever the shark card kids are tellin them to go, then maybe people wouldnt have to mod in a certain vehicle or gun, because why the f*ck should people have to sit there and hope and pray for one or two little things they want to see in game, and sit there for years wondering if it'll ever make it into the game, idk i just think the whole thing in general is stupid

I just need to rant a little about the logic of R*games. Wasnt sure of making a new thread about this as I dont know its a topic at all. But anyway.

As we noticed the new vehicles are PV, also insured and you have to pay if you blow them up.

 

So imo Badsport needs to go, or they need to change their tactics. Why do we get punished when we destroy someones personal vehicle, which the person can anytime call back and get it delivered nearby. I had no problem with this in the early GTA days on PS3, simply because it was harder to end in there anyway. I never ended in badsport until PS4 and hydras came along.

But now when we have all the new toys to play with, like Ruiner 2000, APC and not to mention the flying bike; Oppressor.

 

Now to another illogical R* move: We know a lot of people spend time and hard work on crate, gunrunning and car collections. The poor guys just want to sell their warehouses, earn some moneny and do their own thing.
Of course we are forced into open lobbies, and R* patched the ability to create an empty public lobby (as far as I know), so we have to deal with even more d*ckheads who loves to ruin someone elses hard work. And not only that, we have to pay at least 8k for a crate, and its more expensive if you want two or three crates. And the stolen cars? You have to pay for the damage. And lets say that the NPC are not friendly with us on the way to secure our cars. And then you also have players who wants to ruin your work.

So when you think thats unfair enough, it lighs up a big red sign showing people delivering their goods across the map, and of course, if you like to be an a**hole, you can easily go destroy it, or even worse, you can kill the player delivering cars and STEAL their car and secure it as your own. So if you wanna be lazy AND an a**hole, thats the option for you.

 

And also, why the heck do we get rewarded with money and ammo for destroying someone elses work? Yet they want to punish us for destroying someones PV? Where is the logic???

 

It pisses me off, as I ended in badsport once simply because people drive around in their kurumas or other armored cars, so I rather defend myself by blowing them up than let them have a cheap kill on me.

So I guess now that the APC, Oppressor etc is PV`s I am doomed to spend another 6 days in Badsport. The Badsport should be for those who destroy others I/E stuff.

I sniped this guy at the observatory, I was standing on the hill north of it. He sent me a DM invite. Obviously I ignore it, it's free kills for other players nearby, nty sir.

He respawns, I hit him but he doesn't die and runs behind the Observatory. He runs around it for about 2 minutes, peeks out for half a second but hides back right away.

After those 2 minutes, he texts me: 'camper'.

 

WHAT?? Is this dude for real? Could he be more of a hypocriet?

I have the same, exept people who wants to fight me, and if I win, they call me a noob xD

Insurance costs on PVs. I took out a bounty for a Daily Objective and was still charged $20k because of course that player was riding their clownshoes rocket bike. It's fine, I'll recoup the costs with a Sightseer in five minutes, but still.

 

PV Insurance: Not at all a deterrent to blow up vehicles, just another way to slowly bleed players bank accounts.

Usual update scenario nowadays: Rockstar puts vehicles in, dripfeeds them. I get salty because the one I want isn't the first one released.

 

This update: Rockstar puts in vehicles, I want literally all of them. Release order cannot make me salty, whatever you release, I'm happy. Rockstar proceeds not to release one a week after the update. And another week.

Speaking of magnets, that would be the perfect modification to the cargobob for a gunrunning part 2. It would be so easy to implement.

I remember watching a video where a guy had mod where the cargobob had the magnet and he had no problem grabbing sh*t. The magnet would be better than that sh*tty hook. But yup R* doesn't like sh*t that helps the player.

I think I came across my first lag switch abuser yesterday. I was in a session and shot him with a sniper (which should have been one shot one kill) and I see the red health bar flash and him drop to the ground but all the sudden he jumps right back up, I shoot him again and again the red bar flashes he drops to the ground but then he jumps up and runs away. My friend tries to shoot at him but his character is disappearing and reappearing. This pissed me and my friend off so we called in my APC to go blow him up (since when in free aim I try to refrain from OP explosives use but I figure F it everyone else is using this crap).So we find him and he is teleporting all over the place. My friend said that he most likely had something called a lag switch. Why cant people just play legit? Its only a video game ffs.

I've come across multiple of those in jets. I can't wrap my head around why this is so important to them and why they don't just go outside and actually live their life...

Most of the actual gameplay for a long time now has revolved around making really long drives and usually in really slow vehicles, over and over and over.

 

So when I am sent from my office in the city to humane labs to get a cargobob so that I can pick up a car that is offshore at zancudo and then have to fly back into South LS to store it.

 

You can imagine how f*cking tedious this is. And how rockstar seem to think that it is a representation of the trailers they show us before every update.

 

To make it worse, another mission gets you to steal the zancudo cargobob, which is right next to where the car is.
