What kind of logic even is it, either? A plane flying high in the air is easier to notice than one that's flying just 10 feet over people's houses and cars? (And said people are probably gonna call 911?)

 

It tells you right on the screen: Radar will detect you above a certain height. Hugging the terrain will hide you behind natural (and occasionally man made) features.

It's still annoying... :<

Joining a TEAM deathmatch, it's shown as team until the match begins and suddenly it's a regular deathmatch.

 

Regular deathmatches are fine unless there are a huge number of us, then it's just a sh*t show. Best regular deathmatches are fists only. That's where it's at.

why doesn't r* do something about their races (i know there is non contact mode which most hosts don't bother with (except me when i'm hosting)), but most races i've joined quickly turn into demolition derby's that's not when a random player tries to pit me.

"U hav ben banned by Roxtar Servic. Send credit cards infos to unbanned ur accont"

 

Really? Is this some kind of joke? If I could I'd add the screenshot but alas, I'm on mobile. I couldn't help but laugh... Like, who the hell falls for this? I should have screwed with him or her... Would have been some grade A comedy.

And they don't even behave rationally. "Must kill player. Must take cover near the vehicle. Nothing can stop me"

It's like... why? What's the point? What's their goal. I've died several times from them and they just run to my spawn point and try to kill me again.

If they actually steal the car it'd be a bitch to chase them around without damaging it.

I come back and hear the ominous beeping of a proximity mine. Luckily I entered passive mode before going AFK.

 

Then the guy who placed the bomb got on his bike and promptly exploded. If you place a mine next to someone's car, make sure you have a basic sense of awareness as to not detonate it as you try to make a getaway! I sent him a cheeky 'lol' through the phone and then he left.

 

Still, I didn't know people could be so amazingly unaware of the bomb they placed right by their own PV.

Parked the Buzzard in the city to get in my PV, but left a Proxy Mine in it hoping for a cheeky kill. 10 minutes later I requested it from the menu, Buzzard appears with Prox' Mine still attached. Boom.

I see full tryhard character running in road killing players. I get heavy sniper out and manage to hit them. 1 second later they killed themselves. Next 5 seconds they are closer using marksman rifle while sprinting left and right. I left the game. Heavy sniper should be a one shot kill especially players doing this. Yep freemode is soooooo fun. Can't wait for more fetch quests and rockstar will probably give tryhards more things to exploit in the next update. Yep gta works sooooo well as a PvP game. Next gta online please because gta online 1.0 has too many exploits in "PvP" combat. You wonder why people lag themselves out into solo public lobbies.

 

Next lobby jet killing player I take down there plane and they killed there self. Than they go in buzzard to military base to get jet. Easy way out should give you permanent 0.00 K/D. So tired of people abusing that mechanic. R* make it punish players for abusing it my god. So bored of this stupid sh*t. New lobby again.

 

New update better change taking easy way out.

Ah, the servers.

 

Or, rather, R*'s P2P bullcrap.

 

Please R*, after Gunrunning prioritize dedicated servers. You've made $3 billion from this game alone, for the love of all that is holy.

 

I can name so many examples of this system royally f*cking players up, and the most recent one is stunt races. In about 1/4 of the stunt race lobbies I join there is some guy who gets stuck on "joining", CANNOT be kicked by the host and as a result blocks the session from launching until he either joins or lags out, which usually lasts 10+ minutes in which I could have completed two more stunt races. That is, if I didn't have to spend them waiting for what seems like an eternity to finally connect to a half-decent lobby.

 

Also, each transition from one race to another makes me feel like I'm walking on a bridge about to break. At least twice a day after the voting screen I get inexplicably kicked to freeroam, which is often preceded by 5 minutes of clouds. And if I successfully manage to join the next race it is on an equal amount of occasions that I find the player count halved. We shouldn't have to pay if someone is still on dial-up! Move on from this primitive P2P system!

 

Then there's this outrageous glitch where I/E cars spontaneously combust if the session empties and we either lose the ~10 minutes we took to steal the car from Paleto Bay and evade the 9001% accuracy NPCs or $34k. However it seems that R* are too busy with removing the blue corona on PC to even take a look at what happens to I/E cars every time we lag out, which is, may I add, inevitable.

 

It's a real shame that this is such a great game but its "servers" are absolute sh*t. Do something R*... people have been complaining about this since day one. Please.

Solo public session, begin a sell, just mid sell, random asshole joins the session, the whole map for the two of us, of course he's going to blow up my bike in order to ruin my sell, why wouldn't he?, man i hate C* and it's stupid unbalanced PvP, how the f*ck can i dodge a homing missile from an idiot in an attack chopper in one of the slowest bikes in the game. I'd gladly blow him up with my homing rpg, but guess what happened?, yes, it went missing from my inventory.

Time to set my MTU even lower.

 

 

 

hey, I was going to suggest, when things like that happens, and you're delivering stuff in Blaine County(mostly open field), you better:

 

1-stop your vehicle

2-take Heavy Sniper

3-shoot

4-shoot til the helico exploses, Heavy Sniper can destroy buzzards at 1000 meters, or eventually snipe the pilot, even if you can't manage to snipe the pilot the buzzard will still be damaged and explose before the pilot could lock you.

5-GTFO to your delivery location

God why are high level NPC enemies such complete bullet sponges? It's absolutely ridiculous how many bullets they take to kill. They can take gunfire better than the f*cking Savage. I don't even feel like I'm shooting at human beings anymore. I'm perfectly fine with making high ranking enemies good and accurate shooters, but not with them eating half a banana clip like an actual banana. That's complete bullsh*t. For f*cks sake R* just go ahead and replace them all with the Beast if you want us whittling down overbloated health bars.

Yes, i know i can blow him up with the heavy sniper, but 4 slow bikes and 30 minutes do no leave you much time to do that, besides, he'd just get another since they cost $200, and i still had another bike to deliver.

 

I thought that R* learned from the Heists DLC fiasco after introducinh all those military OP aircrafts, but here we are, about to get another DLC with what most likely be more OP armed vehicles

This whole sourcing one car at time thing sucks ass. If it's just someone lone wolfing, no issues. But when you have three people in an organization why can't you source three like you can buy three crates? All you'd have to do is add two buttons, "Source Two Vehicles" and "Source Three Vehicles" and just make it so the cars either have a bomb or were nabbed by some incompetent fool and needs to be jacked from them. It sucks having to do one car at a time when you're trying to unlock a friend's Ruiner 2000 mission.

This ^ lol, what's wrong with someone riding with you? Sometimes I do it cause I have the wrong car spawned (game gives me my youga classic and I need to race to paleto bay) and I like driving people around too.
