I'm 99% sure I didn't get one, but I'd like to know either way for certain. I can't go online from home as I'm restoring a 4TB drive failure from the cloud and I can't spare the bandwidth to play

It seems they haven't given out the t-shirts as well. Been checking every few hours, and there's no Crosswalk tee in the inventory yet.

 

Took the time to go through the VOD and see the names R* posted. No platforms because I don't feel like sifting through the platforms, and some entered two different ones. Also that's only 46 names that R* posted, so 4 of them are a mystery for now.

Rockstar's "just for you" sales discounts don't seem to take into account the cars you already own.

 

Yesterday I got an in-game email about 50% off the Osiris. Problem is, I already own the Osiris and have owned it since August '15 back on PS3. If these sales are "just for me" then why doesn't Rockstar take this into account?

 

I get that they probably select players at random for these "exclusive" deals, as opposed to a massive sale for everyone. But it seems kinda ass backwards to not actually tailor it to the player.

 

Would be nice to see a sale for a car I don't own. But this is the epitome of a first world problem, hence I'm posting this here.

Were you in passive mode? Strange things happen if you stay in it for a while, namely being impervious to aircraft explosions. I seem to stumble upon it a lot when I want to fly something that isn't a Besra around in a session. Not sure what in the bloody hell causes it, though. Reverts itself as soon as you exit PM. Maybe it's something to do with the fact your passive blip turns back into a normal one if you're in it for quite a while, say 5-15 min or more.

It must be really inconsistent then. I think I've eaten dirt in a Dodo a few times and survived the crash, whilst being CEO. I think I've been bombing with a few Miljets and surviving the crashes too. Must be a random bug in sessions.

 

Speaking of evading homing missiles, I got called a modder for evading them in a Vestra yesterday. Some people just fire, forget and then lose their brain capacity when there is no free kill, it seems.

 

E: Apparently the Mallard received a massive agility buff. Guessing that's what you were testing and I must test that too.

I believe R* has toyed with the Mallard's manoeuvrability, made it a bit more peppy at the controls.

No, the mallard changed. It's a lot different, and turns quicker.

You can pretty much hover it on the verge of stalling if you go vertical and keep on the elevators. Looks like those videos of RC planes, just hovering there vertically. The Mallard is quite a beast now. If only the rotary craft got some buffs too. I'm really happy with this Mallard and I hope this a sign of things to come, *cough cough* Rustler *cough cough*

tonight while in a session i got taken out by a higher level player with one explosive shot while i had pretty much full heath and heavy armor on.

and i was out of the player's line of sight in front of a building!.

is it a sign of a way too powerful weapon like a marksmen rifle or heavy sniper, or do you think it was most likely a highly skilled player?
