Is it just me or is the AI the worst paid criminals out there? When you kill an AI that is part of a criminal organization I would expect them to be rolling like ballers. They're supposed to be established professionals. But these yucks are running around with $11-$30 in their pockets? Really? I'm not trying to get rich killing AI but the people trying to kill me should at least be dropping around $100.

Meanwhile Mr "I started at first place guh hyuk" peacefully wins the race because catchup doesn't affect him at all BUT ONLY ME FOR WHATEVER REASON. WHY AM I DRIVING AT 10 MILES PER MILLENIUM WHILE EVERYONE GETS TO TRAVEL AT LIGHT SPEEDS?

For me, I've noticed since roughly 7 P.M. yesterday literally every race I've joined has been non custom.

The default is now custom vehicles off. People are either too lazy to change it, don't notice it, or are poor and don't have the cars.

Well, that was fast. Anytime I check my PSN app, NO ONE is playing GTA on my friends list 75% of the time. Unscientific of course, but between this week and last week seems at least on my list - major player drop off.

I haven't even bothered downloading the update yet. That's how interested I am right now

Or the game doesn't like your yellow shirt and is punishing you by despawing npc cars. lol Anyway its probably to try to stop the duplication of cars. Why do they even bother people will find another way again just like the police outfit.

 

Also everytime I pick up a vehicle with the cargobob and it drops suddenly, the game awards me $1 million. R* please fix this terrible evil money glitch that is ruining the valuable economy of the game. It is directly linking to the reason why shark card sales are so low right now.

Same for me. I was first for like 30 seconds in a Blazer Aqua race, then the Catchup kicked in. Everyone shot past me at light speed, but the damn speed penalty didn't go away, I wasn't even able to finish the damn race.

 

There are SO many issues with the new special vehicle tracks its not even funny anymore.

who here is getting annoyed with all that the recent update has broken??

i can't play single player since i can't change character's (in single player i'm stuck as michael) and i can't access my purchased private garage or access sites in the in game phone.

yes i know this is the gta online forum but it did seem to broke a thing or two in gta online but that's at least playable.

apparently me and senpai was on a special vehicle mission , he shot down the police maverick but the chopper crashed right into him while he was trying to enter the P.wedge

 

whetever i took down aircraft , i always look where it going to land so i could avoid it

unlucky, the death scene of the senpai wasn't recorded.

I like this slow motion stuff, you could almost win

 

don't you guys miss the wonderful days when you never knew how or even if the mechanic would deliver your rides?? sometimes it was funny and a great stress relief by shooting at him!

Sorry if people disagree with this, but...

 

Now I'm thinking these SV races just suck. 90% of the time I can't even use my own Ruiner. The Voltic races are a sh*t show where everyone decides to just boost right into you, knocking you out, especially in the first 10 seconds of the race. And the Blazer tracks are just sh*t all around, because the Blazer is sh*t.

 

This whole update just feels like filler.

I now believe R* has intentionally disabled custom vehicles. Just completed a race but while in the lobby I could visibly see the host trying to change the custom setting to on but would instantly be switched back to off.

I was in a freeroam war and went after this MC president. Never had any interaction with them, nor are they on my friends list. I couldn't autoaim or damage them at all. I could kill anyone else in the session, but not them.

 

Anyone seen this before? I'm on PS4 btw

I have been playing the new races for three days now and just today noticed that if you get near another rocket voltics rear when it's boosting, your car just stops and spins out.

I mean it literally stops right there like you hit a wall.

 

It's hard enough to try and not hit anyone during the tube section when everyone is boosting and you can't clearly see where everyone is. Add the sliptsream to that and you are going to get close to someones rear.

Yesterday and day before that I didn't experience that even once so I have been really lucky or rockstar have messed something up when they hotfixed the use of custom special vehicles in the races.

Well I just lost 1st place because I flew over a checkpoint, in a god damn Rocket Voltic race.

 

If you gonna have races with rocket propelled cars, you better place the checkpoints far enough to actually hit them if I use the boost.

 

PS: the boost spam in these races is getting on my nerves, and will eventually break my controller

I'm also experiencing the speed penalty when I'm no longer in first. It's almost like the game doesn't recognize that I've dropped a position. I've barely made it up hills in my car while others are driving by without issue. I'd blame it on the controller but outside of races my cars hit max speed with no issue.

 

Semi related bitch and moan...why the f*ck do people try to run you off the road when you're in first and they're in second? It slows us both down and suddenly we're in 6th and 7th together. It's so goddamn ignorant. I get it, YOU want to win, and so do I, but for f*cks sake smashing into me and trying to push me off the track isn't helping your cause! I cannot count the number of edges a second place player has pushed us both off of or how many times I've ended up sideways together off a ramp because hitting me is more important than actually racing.
