i can't play single player since i can't change character's (in single player i'm stuck as michael) and i can't access my purchased private garage or access sites in the in game phone.

yes i know this is the gta online forum but it did seem to broke a thing or two in gta online but that's at least playable.

- No say on who or what server I join, yes we know you wanted the online to be an immersion thing, no server selection. Go to your phone and away you go but here's the thing. How immersive is it for me when I am joining a lobby only to then get stuck in the clouds forever with NO way to quit out other than disconnect from the internet?

- I would quite like to have an option to say who or what I am connecting to rather than getting stuck with whatever your crappy matchmaking service decides

- Oh my god will they fix the everyone leaves my game during freeroam mode, I;ve head every excuse under the sun for what causes this and almost all of them try to blame the player or their internet connection but here's the thing, I have NO PROBLEMS with ANY other games, so in my book that makes it your sh*tty game that's the problem.

- Stunt races that have invisible barriers, you know the ones the sections were your car just comes to a dead stop for no reason at all.

- Fix the lobbies, for gods sake, if someone is joining, then TS if I want to start the game, I should be able to start and not be forced to wait the decade and a half it takes for them to join. So what if they get punted back to freeroam or get stuck in the clouds how will that be ANY different to what 90% of GTA players experience any way?

- On that same note, sort the handshake system, if someone drops out part way through a load, making EVERYONE else wait around the three minutes it takes you to finally decide that the player has left before starting the event is a plain and simple pain in the ass.

- Stop telling me their is a mission, race, heist setup that I can join only to then try and join it to be told that the lobby is full or the event is no longer there or the player got bored and decided to shoot himself.

They removed the weather option from Stunt Races. This makes me upset.

Doing stunt races with a group of friends and Dan suggests we do Rocket Voltic races with a twist: you can only use the rocket thruster and can't touch the gas at all. Brakes are allowed for cornering but that's it. First race goes good, right up until one dude that tagged along with Dre decides to say f*ck everyone and use the gas and thruster, winning the race by a mile. Dan gets on mic and all I hear is, "Goddamn it Paul! That's now what we agreed on you f*cking c*ckwomble!" Guy gets kicked and we go about doing more races. For some reason Paul keeps trying to join back in the race lobbies and eventually after repeatedly kicking him and telling him to piss off we all end up blocking him so he can't keep joining. Someone always has to ruin things...

The heavy sniper can't even one shot players with BST. What in the actual f*ck has this update done?

It's been nerfed to sh*t for awhile now and I can't stand it, I get constant 2-3 shot kills, even on low levels which makes NO sense. It seems to let lower levels have ridiculous amounts of damage when they fire it (no idea how many times I've been one shotted with full health,body armour and BST at level 560+) and less damage when a higher level player fires a shot.

 

I even see myself hit someone and only do about 20-30 damage which is a piss off and the damage seems to lag? Many times I've hit someone once, watched their health drop to 10 and then a split second later that last bit of health drops and they die. Which makes me believe either the body multipliers are broken/lagged OR each shot is actually two shots but one of them lags. You see this all the time when getting sniped in a jet, you hear two shots hit instead of one, you hear tink tink.

 

There is something very wrong with the heavy sniper.

Then there's the real cocksuckers. The one's who do nothing but RPG, and kill themselves if you almost have them dead. I just got raped by two of them. A pretty cool night where I come across someone from this forum and a pretty big group they're with, all goes to hell when the assholes in the jets show up.

It was awesome playing with you my dude, especially the TDM's! Don't let those schlums get to you though that happens almost every lobby that Sneaker and I get into probably because of our levels, K/D's, and those sorts feeling like they have always have something to prove. It takes absolutely zero skill to fire rockets in ghost org like they were doing, then go passive once it runs out, still kicked their salty littles a$$es tho

Also, at least you were not as stupid as I was to accept one of their "1v1" invites to the beach only to be greeted by all of them at once, jets and on foot off radar lmao.

^ They equalised it across platforms (useful for eg time trials) and specifically, they disconnected the recharge time from your framerate.

They "balanced" it..meaning it is not tied to your fps anymore..so it works as if you only have 30fps. That was a sh*tty thing to do tbh. For races I can understand, but for freeroam..just no.

-The Savage has (almost) no armour at all

 

-Jets still have OP cannons

 

-the Homing launchet is OP to helicopters

 

-You can choose a parachute for a 'stock' ruiner2000, but not on your own!

 

-Matchmaking is broken

 

-servers are broken (can't stay in public lobby for longer than 10 minutes, or can't get online at all)

 

-You CAN use passive in ARMED vehichles

 

-You CAN'T use passive in LUXORY aircraft

 

-OP 'blue goons' when selling car in solo session

 

-lobby split

 

-Mission fail for the most stupid reason (going to the wrong street)

 

-heist fails when someone leaves

 

-Catchup in races

 

-Bugs in stunt races

 

-loooong loading times

...I probally forgot A LOT of other broken things...

Yeah the freeroam versions have always been pants, Rockstar has some really f*cked up ideas about game balance.

 

The best ramming Special Vehicle in freeroam is the Armored Boxville ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also mentioned this elsewhere. Fly straight up until the Buzzards appear, and then go straight to your warehouse and you won't get hit once as they never catch up. Simples.

 

Not sure what I was doing wrong, but I've tried this, and still somehow end up getting "rekt" by the Buzzards.

 

Anywho, I just ditch this "mission" whenever I get it--change sessions and get a new one. Not worth messing with even for the time it takes compared to other ones.

 

I love how R* tells the player "Be careful not to damage the vehicle too much" right before they send the Dalek terminators after you:
