^ You get "unknown network error" when you're kicked these days, for whatever reason.

Source: Nobody likes me.

and it seems the idol time before your kicked goes from 13 minutes to 1 & half minutes sometimes??

It's 90 seconds if you're outside of the game (dash or other full screen program) on xb1, not sure what equivalent on ps4 or pc would be.

About the same. If I get the funny idea of alt-tabbing otu of the game, I can expect to see a "Kicked for being idle too long" after 90 seconds or so.

Why is this a thing?

Just don't bother reasoning with him, players like him thinks its awesome to pay for season passes and DLC packs, I'm done arguing with them that you don't need to spend a single dime for DLC R* brings for this game, Shark Cards are optional.

I like how you posted that you're done arguing then literally, the post after that, you argued with him.

Why do I get in to jobs where I'm the only one there (usually a survival, last man standing or deathmatch) and it won't let me quit out of it?

Even inviting other people and having the lobby full doesn't give a button to start it.

I've noticed this a few times now.. is it another glitch people are doing?

Well, he used a image that was clearly displaying equivocated content, so I corrected him and his image, I did not tried to argue with his view because that is not changing, like I said: people like him thinks its ok to pay for season passes and DLC packs and would open up their wallets for anything.

But hey, thanks for your observation.

Start Sightseer to help low-level friend make some quick cash, a$$hole game spawns first package directly on the rooftop bike park in Vinewood where a CEO/Crew of three are literally sitting on top of.

I ask them nicely to leave before it gets ugly, it gets ugly and unfortunately I pick up the first package only to be fragged to death which fails Sightseer since you can only die once :(

Regardless I make it my mission to see these boys violently out of the session, over 15 kills up on each of them later and having to go passive to get them out of Vespucci wallbreach, dodging countless rockets, they rage and begin making excuses for their failure.

RIP 1911 douches (at least those three), research your target next time...

EDIT: I wish I knew how to get videos off of my XBOX home feed and onto here without having to offer the grandmaster of the interwebs an under the table hj -__-

Selling coke from my morningwood lockup, get the Bagger thinking, "All right, easy peasy!"

Dropoff is 6 and a half miles away in Paleto Bay

It's a police sting, and I am killed instantly upon arriving

Take a handful of deaths and finally clear the place out so I can get back on the bike.

New dropoff is another f*cking 5 miles away.

Seriously starting to getting triggered just about every session i go into - launch-->regsiter as CEO-->find other CEO's doing jobs and attack.

That's what the game tells me to do: Steal/Stop/Kill etc etc - so what is it with these bawbag players who fail to remember that and start reporting/kicking people from the session?

Grow the f*ck up - if you want to do touchy feely with your boiz, go invite only and leave me the f*ck alone to play the game AS IT'S f*ckING INTENDED.

<--- Triggered to the max.

Well you choose to be a dick and ruin other peoples fun. The other people dont like that and want remove you from the session. The kick feature was implemented, so the other players have the option to remove unwanted individuals from a session.

So in conclusion: They use the kick feature the intended way.

I dont see the problem that you have.

You don't see the problem because you ARE the problem, and you're missing the point.

Rockstar very, VERY clearly indicates that you are to STOP a rival CEO from completing their task. A notification goes out to the entire PUBLIC lobby indicating as such. It is how they intended the freemode PVP to work. Further more, Rockstar actually incentives people for "ruining" your fun by awarding them ammo for destroying packages or, if you're skilled enough, allowing you to keep the car they were trying to steal / deliver.

The problem here is that people seem to think that they're entitled to a public session where nobody interferes with their progress. These individuals think it's more appropriate to kick the player playing by Rockstar's rules from the session when it fact they are the ones who want other players to play by THEIR rules. The kick feature is not meant to kick people abiding by the very screen prompts that Rockstar has placed in the game.

It's this mentality that annoys me more than anything. There have been countless times that I've been in a public session minding my own business when a prompt suggests I stop a rival CEO from completing a task. I view that prompt as a challenge and oblige. Upon successfully completing the very task Rockstar has just asked me to do I get notifications that the special little snowflakes are voting to have me kicked from the session. Here's what's so f*cked up about that...in the event that I'm voted from the session I earn myself some "bad sport" points and all I've done is as Rockstar intended. Too many cry baby snowflakes thinking they're entitled to have everyone leave them alone in a public session designed specifically for PVP...

This is why so many people became furious when Rockstar locked away CEO / Biker work behind FORCED public sessions. If Rockstar wanted you to do this alone you'd be able to do so (without manipulation of the system). So to anyone so dipsh*tted enough to vote kick another player for stopping them from completing CEO work...grow the f*ck up or, I don't know, get better and picking and choosing when you do sh*t. Don't get angry when you enter an arena full of other players and then suddenly have to interact with, wait for it.....OTHER PLAYERS.

Yes the game tells you, that you have the OPTION to chase other players and Rockstar actually wants it but this does not make it any less of a dickmove. If you come in my or my crews worklobby (that started life as a solo public lobby) and start sh*t, prepare to be kicked.

Rockstar does not want it in invite only, so dicks like you can stop other people from making money so they are more likely to buy a sharkcard.

You get what, for destroying cargo? 5k? Dont tell me you make to to get money, you make so you can be a dick, while hiding behind the argument "the game told me to do so".

Oh and by the way, freemode is not specialy designed for PVP, thats what deathmatches are for.

It's a bitch and moan thread so I'll respond by bitching and moaning...

I can't stand people who think, for even a moment, that a game with heavy artillery, armed vehicles, and free mode events literally telling you to hunt someone down, is not designed to be PVP.

Death matches are localized, scenario based PVP where parameters are set. Freemode is a "free for all". I'm not sure why people don't understand that or why people think for a moment that others are going to "leave them alone" when they're initiating tasks that prompt a lobby wide notification that you must be stopped...

If you want your petty little crew to be left alone, play in a forced public lobby. They're easy to obtain and most stay nice and empty for hours.

I will concede that choosing to blow someone's sh*t up is a "dick move", but so isn't vote kicking someone for doing so. One of the people in this scenario is playing the game as it was meant to be, the other is throwing a tantrum like a toddler. I'll happily be the dick.

"Ok time to do my daily objectives. Hopefully they aren't annoying."

"Participate in a Capture-Hold"

*closes game to refresh dailies

"Participate in a Rally Race"

*close game

"Participate in a Capture-GTA"

*close game again

"Participate in a Rally Race"

*close game yet again

"Participate in a Versus Mission"

*angrily close game

"Participate in a Capture-Contend"

*close game in a fit of rage

"Participate in a Vehicle Deathmatch"

F*ck f*ck f*ck! For the love of f*ck C*, update your list of damn pissing daily objectives! It's filled with so much sh*t that NOBODY f*cking does, unless it's also one of their daily objectives. I'm not even kidding when I say I've once spent nearly a f*cking HOUR waiting in a Capture lobby for someone to join. That's an hour I'm never getting back. Surely C* knows what get's played and what get's ignored by the community, right?

They just love jerking off to their Adversary Modes and acting like their the greatest thing mankind has ever imagined, than why don't they make them a daily objective? While they're at it, replace Rally Race with Stunt Race. Either merge all the Captures into just "Participate in a Capture" or get rid of them entirely from the list, and get rid of Versus Missions and Vehicle Deathmatches.

Would save so much time having the close the game and having to wait forever and a day for this piece of sh*t game to finally boot up over and over and over and over again.

f*ck.

Do what I do. When you first get your daily objects, just close your app fast and restart the game, you should see changes in your daily's.

I feel GTAO is becoming removed from what GTA should be... it feels like there is more of an emphasis on inserting crap, unrealistic cars to expand the racing and stunt elements. I wish they would create some new content with some substance to it and finally bring us the long awaited story DLC. I doubt we'll ever see that.

I don't care for new races, they won't keep me playing the game. What keeps me playing is new vehicles etc, and we only get that ugly Progen.

You could have kept this update to yourselfs R*

Does anybody else think that this Online mode would be far more better if all players are under the radar all the time and the player blips only showed up as a spot on the map much like those Pac Stan Van mission with app in some vague direction when players are nearby? That way other players wouldn't know exactly where CEOs and Bikers are doing their missions immediately to catch up to them. It gives the CEO/Bikers some time and peace of mind knowing that their location isn't suddenly compromised. It also allows players to use the environment to their advantage. You could hide behind the buildings, hide inside tunnels, you could be on the rooftop and since your exact position isn't known it would make players stay more active about their environment.
