You mean the ones you can outrun by climbing as high as you can before they appear, and then flying straight to the warehouse?

I don't use the cargoblob and I play alone and by the time I spawn my CEO Buzzard, I'm chop suey. I've counted 8 in total so far. I'm p much done with I/E now.

 

How the hell can you not use the Cargobob in the Cargobob mission? Forget the Buzzard and do what I said.

BTW - it's not alone often - it's a cleaned out session WITH friends as WE move cargo profiting along the way with less drama.

 

 

 

 

It sucks, yes.

 

When I lagswitch out a lobby and I start moving cars. When people start joining, I msg them 'friendly?' If no reply, I stop and watch them if more join, clean session out and keep going.

 

This game caters to people who relish unleashing their inner assholes. The best thing to do is stay vigilant against it. Abusing reports, kicks and what.

Sounds like much "fun" playing multiplayer alone.

it seems the random splitting of lobbies has hit stunt races now, today i joined an almost full motor cycle stunt race and i started in 1st and when we started it seemed like i was winning until i noticed i was suddenly in a empty lobby?

i did make about $24.000 when the race was finished.

 

f*ck supercars and the people who drive them.

As soon as they appear, stop climbing and fly straight to your warehouse; they never catch you.

Don't do that. That is asking to get shot the f*ck up.

 

The cargobob steal mission is one of the easiest steals. Just fly straight up, when the enemie helis spawn, fly straight for the warehouse. They will never get close to you. Easy $0 damage.

Well I go prepared for that mission.

>exit the office

>secretary calls "get a cargobob"

>go back in the office

>request the cargobob on the helipad

>go near the car

>land, exit

>call the Kuruma (or the turret limo)

>Snipe the mercs

>get in the bob and get the car

>buzzards spawn after you

>drop the car somewhere safe and enter the kuruma

>revolver to the pilot's face drops the buzzard(s)

>rinse and repeat

 

This only works if you're alone or in a friendly session.

And if you're in a friendly session you can just ask one of your friends to get his hydra and provide cover.

Because if you're in a full session you might as well destroy the car on the spot. Bad enough you get buzzards but other players as well.

 

But I hate the "race" mission more.

Not only that you win the car fair and square his "friends" also come after you. It's ridiculous.

Truly a c*nty move.

 

I've helped people regardless if friends or not.. I went out of my way to stop and help a CEO importing a car. I stayed far enough he knew I wasn't gonna kill him but close enough I could help him take down buzzards. He messaged me and thanked me.

 

It wasn't even a friendly session, just a random one I joined... I was griefing it after.. Flew over him a few times..lol

I waited for a long time hoping for C* to give us discounts on the special vehicles they dropped with I/E. Didn't see it happening so I bought that not so useful piece of sh*t Ruiner 2000 because I was pissed at the jet griefers in public session and I couldn't wait much longer to return the favors to them.

I bought the Ruiner 2000 for $4.32 million last week and now R* offers a 25% discount which means a whopping $1.1 million discount that I could've used to buy that slow ass Projen Italli GTB for my Supercar collection.

Did a load of races with a complete c*nt of a host the other evening. He'd lock it to first person, put Destroy Last Place on, and turn off catchup, but leave slipstream on. He'd then slingshot himself and his friend to victory, trading wins at the end. Any time I got close, they'd try and put me off.

 

Eventually, I started winning the races instead of coming third, and after winning a few in a row and having him get knocked out whilst trying to put me off on a ramp, he proceeded to call me out by name, call me a "cocksucking whore" and a "cheating bitch" and promptly kicked me from the pre-race lobby.

Ugh...no matter what people claim, money was never this hard to make on old gen.

 

Solo'ing missions, doing heists when plenty of people were into heists.

 

These days you got to work a lot with randumbs because on heists everyone got their playstyle and doing most ceo related sh*t is pretty much half of the time either waiting for timers to run out or doing the most dreadfull grind ever by going after cargo....which, depending on what cargo also has a timer and can always be destroyed.

 

Really...grinding potshot before heists came out and after the balancing of payouts was not even this bad.

 

On top of that it has become more common to lag out or to disconect from a job more then anytime before when i was back on PC.

 

If rockstar could be so kind to stop updating and let modders go unpunished that would be great because they suck at balancing and improving the actual game anyhow.

...and switch timezones, and have them always around to do stuff, and...

That's why Pacific Standard might be the best overall way to make money, but cycling through things like Sightseer and Asset Recovery solo is the most simple, straightfoward approach logistically-speaking.


(in all fairness, for heists, I'm lucky to have a bunch of regular folks who've got speedrunning them down to a fine art - but those peeps aren't currently playing stunt races or special vehicle missions...)

Not so much a bitch and moan but I miss the peak days of GTAO when everyone wanted to do contact missions and heists. Work on their cars and just cruise around. Even though GTAO is still populated it isn't anywhere near as co-op as it use to be. Seems a lot of players have moved on to other games or are more interested in solo CEO/VIP work. Like I said, I miss the old days of GTAO. Contact missions, Heists, Car clubs/Car meets... Had some great times on GTAO back in the day.

I remember thinking that I'd miss sniping at floating heads when they patched the invisible body glitches, but they're back in full effect, it seems.

 

Got ganged up on by a bunch of low levels with maxed stats and 5.0+ K/Ds that were little more than socks with sandals and a tee shirt mask. Should've saved the clip, but I had to leave towards the end and just kind of forgot about it.
