Are they pulling a wheelie in mid air? For some weird reason, you get a serious speed boost if you pull back a little over 90 degrees when in the air. You can almost fly whilst doing this. These physics only work in races, though.

Wow, yeah I think that might be it. When they land, they're in an almost wheelie position and then they're about to pull another wheelie after landing lol. I can't do either in the Shotaro

Ever since they reverted the bike physics almost 3 years ago, you can glide with the motorcycles when you are in the air with a wheelie with your front wheel up in the air. You can glide across the map do to the magic physics.

 

This if from 3 years ago and why bike gliding still exists to this day. Its another one of those physics glitches that they tried to fix but the community got it "reverted" just like "double clutching" and car "stancing". I remember back when people barely used to know about being faster on a bike doing a wheelie and getting the boost at the start of the race. Its also why you get the higher speed by doing a wheelie. Broughy1322 even shows how massive the speed increase is doing a wheelie on a bike when you only gain a little speed increase by leaning your head forward on the bikes and being more aerodynamic.

If these new stunt races are lacking a bit, then I hope the new racing add on doesn't fall victim to the same thing.

 

Cause a few of these tracks aren't very good, and are cheap and kinda broken. I agree with everything above.

Wall Climb might just beat out Gauntlet in terms of the wall tubes... they're absolutely retarded in this one. At one point I didn't even know what happened as I was wall riding inside the tubes.. my car just randomly spun out and I went from third to thirteenth

Every time there's a bike race I don't like I usually just glide somewhere, most oftenly to the top of Chiliad.

 

I get laughs imagining everyone finishing and then entering spectator mode only to see someone on top of Chiliad on the other side of the map.

Just started the Funding heist setup and the attackers didn't show up. They were visible on the map but far enough away that we couldn't go to them and they just didn't move.

You can transfer characters from xbox one to pc. And still keep all of your money and rank on both accounts.... Why the hell didnt i ever know this? I spend months on the pc version getting to rank 20 or so.... Now back on both accounts. I feel so alive. It gives me more reasons to play. WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I FIGURE THIS OUT SOONER.....

yesterday i did a 1 vs 1 deathmatch with another player but he brought in a tank during that deathmatch which i thought was cheating but i did blow him up by spamming my sticky bombs on and around his tank.

Yeah it happens occasionally when someone leaves or lags out.

 

I haven't had the same issues as everyone on the last two pages, the races have been going fine, but, I have had the non contact to contact bug get me a couple times.

 

Not the type of crap you like to see in a Premium Race.

In a non-contact race, some guy was AFK in the middle of the track, so I tried driving through him, seeing as it was non-contact. But no, for some odd reason, he wasn't ghosted, so I crashed into him. Why is this game so random? My f*cking brain...

Content Creator for Stunt Races is difficult AF. I'm sorry, but I don't recall Stunt Races in Creator being less user-friendly, especially if its this complicated and tracks being placed in awkward positions even with snap prop enabled. I almost never finish my very first created Stunt Race at all due to how impossibly difficult it is to create it. I've played ModNations Racers for the PS3 before and at least it wasn't THAT complicated to do. R* needs to some serious rework the Creator, mainly Stunt Races.

Try using the advanced settings in the editor to place a prop just how you want. Also there's good guides in youtube.

 

 

Of course, its not just that. There's "Forbidden Descriptions" R* implemented so people can't be creative at ALL.

Thanks man. I haven't rage quit in a long, long time. That last 3 races I've been in front and cruising, only for some pr*ck to come flying into me from nowhere. 3rd, 4th and f*cking 8th. Force quit, f*ck it, I've gone for a beer and a smoke.
