My B&M is very simple... It's real clear you need to have a moderator in you pocket, with that you can do as you wish for sure, Actually found somewhere with worse support team than R* themselves, and censorship, Wow! Haven't seen as much since the Thatcher days.

I think people have every right to complain about it because it is pretty unrealistic, unfortunately it's one of those things you have to adapt to though in order to not be slapping that respawn button over an over.

I'm sorry, but I need to be enlightened on this.

 

So I was doing some stunt races and I think myself as a pretty decent racer overall. But here are some things that just don't seem right! So I'm in my Nero Custom and somehow got to first place because of some pile up I managed to dodge. I know catchup is on and I feel my engine dying on me as I slow down because of it. But I do my best to keep a steady speed and take the turns just right.

 

Then this loser in his stock RE-7B or whatever it's called blast pasts me at almost triple the speed. I can even see his car stuttering slightly as he just picks up speed even after he has passed me. Despite how flawlessly I try to drive, I can't catch up to him at all. I even see him spin out and instantly recover with boosted acceleration. WHAT IS THIS MARIO KART 64? And why the hell is catchup not affecting him at all?

 

But hey, maybe he's just that good, right? There are some crazy good racers out there after all, right? No, I see him in the next race and he's some rank 33 guy (but hey, ranks don't matter, right?) but he has a 1 win 0 losses in races. You mean to tell me he's some idiot savant?

 

Oh and he had a suspiciously powerful acceleration at the start, putting him about twenty car lengths ahead of second place (me) despite there being no pileup at the start. And I got the speed boost from hitting the acceleration key at the right time as well. and in both races he finished with at least a 25 second lead. And when I just pointed out the strange boost at the start of the race, everyone's like "It looked normal to me".

 

What is it? Lag? Controller exploit? Cheats?

 

I know I'm not that good, but sometimes there's some serious BS going on.

There's a way to get a more efficient boost than the regular one at the start. And if you both were miles away from anyone else then the catchup wasn't so strong between the two of you.

 

But ultimately I would say lag explains the instant recoveries. I sometimes see my opponent have a huge crash and giving me 1st place but then appearing right in front of me and hitting every possible object on the track without losing any speed.

 

Also ranks don't really matter. It could have been his second character althrough I'm not completely sure if race wins transfer from one character to other.

Content Creator for Stunt Races is difficult AF. I'm sorry, but I don't recall Stunt Races in Creator being less user-friendly, especially if its this complicated and tracks being placed in awkward positions even with snap prop enabled. I almost never finish my very first created Stunt Race at all due to how impossibly difficult it is to create it. I've played ModNations Racers for the PS3 before and at least it wasn't THAT complicated to do. R* needs to some serious rework the Creator, mainly Stunt Races.

And that is exactly the reason why I'll either slow down there or (as I do almost constantly while driving) push my stick up so I can see ahead properly going up that incline.

 

That vehicle camera height setting is nonsense. "High" I think they called it in-game? If anything it's not super low. If you could actually put it high up I wouldn't need to use the stick to see ahead.

So I'm exporting a car for my client. I'm cruising along when some douche decides to make a retarded driving move and forces me to go up on the sidewalk to avoid them. No biggie, right? Unfortunately, for the fat bitch taking a leisurely stroll, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I turn as quickly as I can to avoid her, but get her with the right rear, quarter panel. Oops. I laugh it off at first, but notice a little red glow out the corner of my eye...$400 in damage...lol wut? F*ck that fat piece of sh*t. F*ck the blood splatter. That's not my problem. The client needs to know that innocent lives are sacrificed, so that his punk ass can chump out on the price tag of a multimillion dollar car. Even though he rich as hell... Punk ass.

What's even more stupid is, R* included different levels for the speed boosts but they always use the default setting..

Try using the advanced settings in the editor to place a prop just how you want. Also there's good guides in youtube.

I got pushed around on it earlier, and got knocked totally out of the race. So I sat in a tunnel and blocked it off to stop the assholes who did it. I got reported too

I swear my Nero is allergic to that track. It always finds a way to bottom out in the tunnels or on that big ramp. Yet for some reason, my fully lowered RE-7B handles it just fine. Maybe it's something to do with the downforce stat, but it's ridiculously annoying. And yes, I am landing on the rear wheels as to prevent the two cars bottoming out, but it refuses to work on the Nero.

Other times slip stream's on and I shoot too far ahead (and I'm not even talking about bikes here where their funky physics can make you go flying).

 

I also really, really hate landing on my roof while in a tube and exploding.

This so much. It's almost like the wall tubes in that race were built to make you explode if you wall ride it.. which you're supposed to in order to increase your speed but the ones in this race are so poorly made you're almost prone to exploding unless you drive straight inside the tubes. The catch up feature is just ridiculous in its current state- I could barely make a small jump in an RE-7B on a previous race. The person responsible for that feature needs to be found and spawn trapped by a dozen marksman dancers.

 

Another annoying issue is the start lines. There is an amazing lack of taste there. Here I was thinking my liveried Nero was on the gaudy side, but that statement was quickly taken back when there were numerous gold cars in every race and there was an Itali GTB with gold rims from Benny. It's painful.
