What the hell is Nat type. Im not a loner type player and almost always play with my friends in a party, an sometimes i cant even talk to them because of this f*cking nat type. Anyone care to explain, please?

The dilema of kicking people out of sessions when doing business sell missions. I read so often here about people who get annoyed when they are kicked straight out of a freemode lobby. My friends and I wouldn't kick people but the last few days have changed that for sure. We have done five sell missions and in three of them poeple joined after the sell missions started and immediately came out in either a hydra or buzzard costing us hundreds of thousands of GTA$. I'm now of the belief that it is safer to kick people if you see them going into a helicopter or jet because it isn't worth the hours of gameplay we put in just to have our products destroyed. Also two of those players had their PSN message settings set so they couldn't receive messages, I couldn't even ask what compels these players to ruin other peoples days in this manner.

From what i know, it is something that has to do with the internetconnection of you console. You can change it to get solo public lobbys.

I just got into a decently fun battle with someone, even though he was a marksman dancer. He attacked half of the lobby in a Buzzard, so I went to shoot him down in my own, but he bailed out before I got to him. I crash a minute later and we trade quite a few kills as he ambushed me on respawn. After a while he went into passive mode, so I drove off.

 

We meet some time later in the city, and get into another battle. Then his CEO pops ghost org. I drive off to get my Rocket Voltic, but about a minute after I get it, he nails me with a pretty damn good headshot from his AP pistol and then drives off. Not on my watch mate. By this time he's back on radar. I call in my Buzzard again and hunt him down. He then messages me, 'wow u had to use a buzzard, sad'

 

U fookin wot m9? Saying that after attacking a fair part of the lobby in one? To his credit, it was a hell of a fun time. Kind of annoyed to see that idiocy in calling me out for using a helicopter he used strenuously, though.

It sometimes gets boring when I'm doing the biker/ceo biz in my solo sessions so I tried to play them in a public lobby this last week and boy was that a bloody mistake. Everytime I have to drive to the city for that Tequila bar fistfight, there's a player in a jet or a buzzard or with a rocket launcher griefing the eff out of me. As soon as i set the bar on fire with my explosive bike and I come out of the bar's interior to prevent myself from being charred to death, these idiots keep shooting missiles and rockets at the wall from outside insta killing me. Then for whatever bloody reason the game decides to spawn me 2 blocks away from the bar meaning I have to now run towards the bar to get my supply which these rocket wielding griefers enjoy because they just get to kill a man who wants to get his supplies to the factory.

Yesterday I used a heli to pick up supplies from a crate across the city. Just as I managed to find my supply, a rank 35 idiot comes driving towards me and I notice it and run towards my heli which is at the far end of the warehouse. Dude comes at me in his kuruma which I promptly destroy with my RPG and he kills me simultaneously. Funny enough, idiot spawns right next to my fallen supplies and I spawn as usual, 2 blocks away. I run to my supplies but by then he sticky bombs it and I failed the supply run.

Never going to do ceo/biker biz in a public lobby ever again.

Been playing GTA4 recently trying to 100% the single player and after coming back to V, holy sh*t the NPC drivers. In IV the AI wasn't perfect but they very rarely go full retard. In V I can't go 20 seconds without some arse pulling out on me, or deliberately swerving into me for no reason.

The mission started. I couldn't move, couldn't use weapons, the interaction menu was broken so I couldn't kill myself. Only option was quit the game and I lost the car. And this is the second time this has happened, RIP 100k.

 

Back to pigeon hunting I suppose.

Same thing was happening to me. Its very annoying when your exporting a collection and this sh*t happens to you and a friend.

Catchup is the biggest joke ever. Twice I've been leading in the new stunt races, both times catchup has limited my speed to the extent I can't complete a jump.

Looks to me you got exactly what you asked for doing that stuff in a non-solo public session.

 

At least it's a sobering reminder why you should always use methods to get a lobby all to yourself when doing that kind of work.

I'm not that big of a racer myself but this pisses me off so much.

I don't mind losing at all, I'm not good, I know I'll lose most of the time. But I do hate it when I lose because some idiot rams me off the track.

Well, I guess I was too late trying the new stunt tracks. All the tryhards who already have the racing blonde tattoo wanted to put their stupid name on the WR lists.

 

How long until these new tracks' records will be ruined by loser kids with 10 second times.

 

Also, not a single Muscle and Compacts race. But at least it wasn't 100% supers.

Yeah; sad to say, but lately I'm finding it necessary to just Ctrl-Al-Del GTA Online (several times in a two- or three-hour gaming period) and restart whenever I'm dumped into the clouds for more than a minute or so; otherwise it's going to be either a 10-15 min. wait, or indefinitely stuck.

 

Honestly, this game's code is getting more borked by the day (surprise!)

yesterday when i tried to logon to gta online on my xbox one it took me about 6 tries i got so many different error messages, i ended up going into single player then going to invite only then to a public lobby.

I'm surprised they never fixed this glitch... I'm not sure who's video it is, but I put it to show the area since I couldn't find a picture of the garage/location. Also, this works on all platforms.

 

 

 

However, something amazing has become of it... I had an idea... To park a Turreted Limo in that god mode box, and see if I could shoot from the turret.

 

I COULD!!!! I killed so many players that attempted to attack me.

 

So, get yourself a bounty (so no one knows what vehicle you are in), call up a CEO Turreted Limo (so no one else can access it... Passive players specifically), park it in that spot, and then get into the turret seat.

 

Profit as people come looking for you because of the bounty, but cannot kill you because of the god mode box. As you whittle away at all the players, you can sit there an laugh at this broken game.

 

Edit: One guy got smart and brought a tank over... Didn't matter... I just kept shooting his tank with my turret, while he thought he was hitting me with rockets, until the tank inevitably blew up. He was so pissed

I literally SAT there for an entire bounty, just killing player after player. I was ultimately surprised that they kept coming back for more deaths.

Network address translation. Long story short your router (the box that connects you to the internet) isn't punching the proper holes into the internet for your console.

NAT type 1 = PlayStation directly connected to Internet, no firewall. (you can connect to ALL players)

NAT type 2 = PlayStation connected to Internet thru firewall. (best setting, you can connect to 99% of all players)

NAT type 3 = Firewall too strict, blocking connections to other players or even the servers itself (you can play only with certain players, if all)

 

If you have type 3, you'll have to open some certain ports ("doors for PS to the Internet") in your router to get type 2.

I wish this was in freemode without having to glitch. It's a fully modeled, detailed, awesome ship, and it's only used twice? Why?

 

It has laser and cargobob spawns on it for christ sake. They clearly intended for it to have more use. Why would they change their mind?

 

I'd love to fight the guards on this outside of a heist, without having to worry about dumb teammates dying.
